I brought my truck in for a new muffler because mine was hanging from brackets.Your mechanic welded the muffler to some connecting part because your parts person was late, and said I was fine. After I left my service engine light came on. YOU DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE DECENCY TO CALL ME WHEN THE PART ARRIVED TO PROPERLY FINISH THE JOB!!!! SO I HAVE A NEW MUFFLER WITH A MISSING PART!!! I came back to have you look at it among other issues, and I was told it was fine. I left again and now my service engine light is on AGAIN! Whatever you welded the muffler to is obviously causing my issues and you refuse to take responsibility. The answers I got didn't even make sense. My car won't accelerate and you told me it was because of a catalytic converter...that makes zero sense. I'm not sure if the manager doesn't like black people but he totally ignored me but spoke to others with ease. I didn't even get a follow call like you said I would and how you give to other customers I've spoken to. This is a horrible way to treat customers that you say you care about. It's bad enough everyone in the world is scamming people, and now you seem to be doing the same.

I bought a tire through Tire Rack and had it sent to this Midas location. Every time I called, Scott answered and he was very friendly and informative of how they handled the process. I arrived for my appointment early and Kenya helped check me in and get everything started. I was barely there 30 minutes before my tire had been put on. I also appreciate them putting my spare back in my trunk correctly. I am so satisfied with the service I received and I truly appreciate them making the process enjoyable and easy. Thank you!!

The Manager Scott at the Temple Terrace Midas confirmed with me that the warranty for my brake pads were found and so he discounted it from the quote. I made a big deal about how much I was going to pay as I live pay check to pay check and have a limited amount of money saved aside for my vehicle maintenance. Scott took his time to find my warranty information and stated it was for the front and back pads. When my car was done at 3:30 (4 and a half hours later) he stated I had to show the warranty I got as he couldn’t find it and it was my sole responsibility to show him. I stated the reason why I asked him to look for it for me in the system was because I couldn’t find it, his response was then I won’t be getting free brake pads. He admitted he thought he saw it and it was his mistake. I told him the only reason I went through with the purchase was because of the warranty. Scott should have actually done his job and confirmed with me the warranty information before the job was done and basically stated and lied about the price. He baited me with a price and then changed it.

Assistant Mgr Kenya was my point of contact when I walked in, I didn't have an appointment, I heard a strange noise coming from my vehicle and I wanted to know what it was. At the desk she made sure the authorized paper I signed was not a bill, just to allow Tech to find out what was the noise. After that was confirmed, she took me to my car allow me to see the problem myself, I agreed to to do the repair, but I didn't have all of the cash at the time. She recommended a credit that I thought was acceptable for me, she even found a way through my age to get discount. She didn't have to do that. She offered me water, and continually assured me that I would not have much more of a wait!!! All in All, I haven't used a Mechanic for a while, but I will always go back to that location. It was an agreeable experience!!!

Received a phone call, which was not identified and did not carry Midas caller ID. So I did not answer. cabin filter was dirty and needed to be replaced, however, it was not replaced. When I went to pick up the car and the glove box was open and the dirty, cabin filter was lying out. Upon noticing, I approached the workshop, and they came and immediately fixed it. However, I feel that. Cabin filter is still dirty and should have been replaced during the same service visit. The staff is outstanding, however, this service lapse is noticed.

Kenya worked around the time I had available between doctor visits and squeezed me in for my oil change. Both she and Scott were very friendly and Scott went over my oil change and other items I had asked him to check a light indicator. A mechanic opened the trunk and showed me how to access the tail light that was out since I had spare bulbs at home. (That bulb comes in a 2 pack and I had previous used one over a yar ago.))

Eric was super helpful in moving my appointment up earlier, and Scott talked me through every option I had, all of the warranties that came with each fix I needed, and made the whole process painless. Jim was the technician for my visit this time, and he invited me out into the shop and pointed out each problem that needed fixing. I really appreciated how honest he was with what needed to be fixed immediately and what could wait another 3000-5000 miles. As a student living on a student's salary, I also really appreciate the student discount. Every cent counts, so the help is much appreciated!

I just think the problem I had with my truck was a Quick Fix and I understand that had no appointment . It was just like he made sure that the last more than one hour to make sure I be charged for the full amount.And I had no problem paying.
On the previous visit, they left the some of the screws out of the bottom shield under the motor. The loose shield made a lot of noise going down the interstate. This visit, I purchased a battery and had them look at the shield. The tech moves some screws around but had none to replace the missing screws.

I went in for an oil change and to see what was wrong with my engine. It apparently blew a spark plug. But I was quoted 800$ for it to be fixed. 120$ for the part and 600 for labor. That is ridiculous to me. So now my car is a sitting duck until I can find a reasonable solution. But that is the only complaint. The labor is ridiculous compared to parts. And for someone who is barly scraping by there's no options to work for a budget.

your shops suggested repairs that an independent 2nd opinion clearly found they were unnecessary. Combined the lack of trust worthiness with getting little things wrong, like over charging me, spilling oil all over my engine and failing reset my maintenance light leave me uncertain but I will never trust your shop again. 1. I feel your shop rate is very high.2. After being shocked at your shop rate, then I was asked to pay for incidentals, totaling over $50 for shop supplies! (which was somewhat redus=ced by the nice young woman ast the cash register upon my complaining)
I felt the price for the oil change was outrageous. There was no coupons on midas.com for oil changes. I Google midas coupons and I was told that it was a fake coupon. The coupons from month of July were still visible and I was told those expired. Then they were thrown away. I feel like a discount should of been honored. Then the supervisor and an employee were arguing. They was very unprofessional.

I like that he makes sure that they check everything on my car. If there is any future service recommended he tells me the approximate cost and extra time the service might entail.When I check out regardless if he is with another customer or on the phone he looks up and wishes me well.

Scott, Kenya, and JR always take great care of me! I commute 120 miles a day for work, so I am in all the time for oil changes and general maintenance, and they all check in on how I'm doing and what things I might need to look out for replacing in the future so I can budget appropriately.
They explain what I need to have done and when some repairs should be done. If something might need done at a later date is good to know. I have an old car and would like to keep it running for a few more years.
