Went to get my first safety check in HI. Staff was very helpful in explaining the process and also gave me great recommendation where to go for registration.
This Midas is in my neighborhood. I made an appointment that they kept to on a timely basis. I mentioned I needed the car by a certain time and they got it out an hour earlier. I was informed about potential issue with the car that they will monitor. Professional and easy experience.

During the courtesy inspection, the technician had said that there were no indicators lists on my dash but the TPMS was on before and after the inspection. They also said the tire pressure was fine but the TPMS remained on. Just slightly confused if it was actually checked.

Way should I pay for the use of your shop I’m paying for a service not the use of your shop it’s like the coupon I got was worthless. And I just change oil about two moths ago it was 49$ and now even with a 10$ coupon I paid 64$ don’t make sense.
Cost a bit more than I expected but needed problem fixed. $1,000 for rear axle brake pads and rotors for Volvo XC 60.

My safety inspection was expiring. This was my first time needing an inspection in Hawaii. I called around some places were 2 weeks out, While on line I found a Midas coupon. Showed up 7am Monday morning. Left my vehicle. About 12:30 received a call it was ready.
I came in for routine oil change and they found much more extensive damage on my new pre-owned car. I was able to bring it back to the dealership based on their findings. I'm am so so grateful.
As a first time customer, it was easy to locate the business, drop off was seamless as I was the first customer after lunch and my car was serviced right away. I went for lunch across the street and soon as I finished my meal, I got a call that my vehicle was ready for pickup. I was presented my bill and advised to change my tires as they were wearing a little thin. I was not pressured for any other services, which I appreciated as I find that very off putting. I was done in an hour; a stark contrast to my previous appointment with another company where I waited for hours, even with an appointment. I will definitely recommend Midas to other family members and friends & return for future services when needed.

At the time we called in wanting to know if they do offered wheel alignment, they responded yes and that they had availability to service our car. After we dropped off our vehicle we left walking around the neighborhood to grab something to eat, they did call us not too long after to notify us that another service needed to be performed in order to proceed for the wheel alignment and that they have the parts in stock, they told us the price adjustment and authorized them to go ahead with the service. I needed a safety check for my Lexus as the dealer could not fit me in for this month. No appointment, but the work was done within 2.5 hours, which was faster than I expected.
Lea explained everything when I arrived, and the servicing only took about half of the estimated time. They explained that I should keep an eye on my battery, since it was slightly undercharging, and they said that I would need to replace two of my tires in the next year. So they were very thorough and clear.

I was told the estimate. When I came in, I was told that the tire that came in from the warehouse was the wrong one and more expensive. I was told that the one I was quoted was on the way and had the option to take the more expensive one or wait. The associate suggested that I shouldn’t have to pay for more before it wasn’t my fault that the wrong one was brought in. I opted to wait and the correct one was delivered right then. They took my car immediately and did the tire replacement and alignment. I was in and out in 30 minutes. They even waived the disposal fee for my “trouble” that was solved immediately.

When the receptionist told me the coupon with a great oil change price does not include labor, I thought Midas was very deceptive and practiced false advertisement. I am considering reporting Midas to the department of consumer affairs and tell others about the deceptive advertisement.

The bill for that was $194.I thought it was outrageous and said so upon which receptionist told me I had signed for it before they started work on it. She was very abrupt and rude. I remember signing the paper but had only noticed $64 charge. I will not be coming back to your shop and will tell friends of the very costly and unpleasant visit to your shop.

He ordered me to park in the stall as though I knew in advance that that was what I should do. That was my first time at this location. No smile, nothing. He seemed in a foul mood, macho type. This was my first time going to this Midas and I would recommend this location to all of my friends and family. I had a screw in my tire and I called to see if they could check the tire to see if it could be patched or replaced. They said to come in and they would see if they could help me. They took me right away and patched the tire.
There is only 1 state safety inspector that make customer unable to make appointment during business hour. They are accepting only 5 customers per day for State Safety Inspection.

After my car was fixed, I noticed something went wrong and make noises coming from under the vehicle. You need to check the customers vehicle before you’re done.
Customer Service was great. They explained what was wrong and what needed to be done.
Everyone was friendly and the service was fast. The person taking my order said it would be around an hour, but it only took about 45 minutes. I came primarily for an oil change, but I could see the workers checking everything and rotating my tires as well. It was hot and while we were waiting one of the workers brought Gatorade for me, my mom and the other person waiting. Afterwards, the young man who brought our car out saw us watching and smiled and said "hello" to us. As we got into our car, one of the workers passing by stopped to make sure my 93 year-old mother got into the car okay. Little things, but they sure make a difference in the service.

I did not wait with my vehicle and decided to go on a walk around the area. Not soon after I hear tires screeching, fast acceleration and high reving of a gear shift. This vehicle flew past me on the road, I was on the sidewalk, and I observed two occupants in the car with the windows down. The car looked familiar, when I returned from my walk, it turns out it was a customers car and two Midas employees I had witnessed driving carelessly. Along with the fact that my driver side door and middle console was covered in some type of grease, I will not be returning or recommending this location.

When I checked in for my 1:00 p.m. appointment I was informed that there was a customer ahead of me. OK. I looked in the service bay and noticed a car with a May 2022 safety sticker and a customer sitting under the tent outside. Actually, there were 2 cars ahead of me, not one. The customer waiting for his car was the second car to be safety checked. Not Happy. Midas should have told the truth that I am the third in line, not the second. Why make an appointment. Previous years office ALWAYS informed me truthfully with their apologies. The female associate that was usually there was not present on the day of my appointment. My sadness that she was not there.

In addition to the oil change, I was having a problem with brake lights that were not functioning. Midas evaluated the problem and referred me to an electrical service for assistance. I followed up with the Midas recommendation, and the problem was resolved within 24 hours.

Technicians need to do their jobs better. Oil spilled all over my garage because tech didn't put nut on properly. I was going to do my front and back brakes but how can I trust your crew if a simple oil routine cannot be done right.

Always make an appointment: never have to wait: went for a safety check snd oil change but brought to my attention, that it was time to change as lol 4 tires. Due to the time it was going to take (they suggested I might want to go for lunch in area, which I declined) as am on a restricted diet. All 4 guys worked on my car instead if them going to lunch which they were scheduled to do SO I DIDNT HAVE A LONG WAIT. I was very impressed and touched by this!!!

My oil change and tire rotation was unexpectedly quick. By the time I got back to my office, my car was ready. (About half an hour). The two girls at the front desk were very helpful and quick checking me in also. Kudos to the Midas Beretania staff!
Even though I had no appointment and it was my first time to do the Safety check in Hawaii, Person in the counter ( female in desk and Male in the back , standing) were very polite and friendly then took my request very prompted action. I really didn't need to wait any extra. Same man came politely to let me know the work was done. And female staff at counter desk, she was very friendly at my check-out as well. Overall my experience was just wonderful and it was a great way to start my day. Thank you for all your service and I definitely recommend this brunch. Needless to say, I would come back again.

I scheduled an appointment for the morning and arrived at 8am. I told them straight up that I have a test in the afternoon that I needed to get to. I came back after an hour and a half expecting my car to be nearly finished, but the mechanic was too busy eating donuts to work on my car while they were waiting for a part to be delivered. So I had to wait an additional three hours for them to finish which made me late to take my exam and I was only allowed to take half of it.
