I was unable to leave my van when I came in because it was Friday Ayer 5 so they said can you come int tomorrow on Saturday and we will fix it. On Saturday before 8 they were waiting for me and opened the garage and started. When they found the problem they had the items available and the estimate. They said they could fix it but it would take at least all morning. I needed my van so they topped off the oil and gave me a the bottle in case I needed it and made an appointment for me. It was $1600. I was very happy with everything. Thank you. I will be back !

When checking out, I was charged $600 more than supposed, the person running the payment hit 7 instead of 1...so total was 789, not 189. I was refunded the 600, but could have caused big issues with my bank. I then had to ask for the key to my car and the inspection.

The associate was very knowledgeable and explained areas of potential problems I should keep an eye on. So much so I will no longer be going to the dealer for service. Well, I was a Granger Motors guy since I bought my truck there and needed to get service there to maintain the warranty. They changed there policy of no appt saturdays and I was refused service. Done with them!! Told your staff the issue and told them to take care of me and I will bring my other to vehicles to Midas for all future service. They did their job and now I am a satisfied cutomer!!

The person at the front desk in Ankeny went above and beyond for me. She fought for me regarding my extended warranty and was able to get the price lower. Unfortunately I was told at Karls that they could do it way cheaper so that was a touch frustrating, but in those situations it's hard to know who to believe and Karls was backed out 2-3 weeks. Everyone at Midas was super helpful and communicated in a timely manner.

Letting customers now there is a diagnostic charge BEFORE you look at the vehicle and make an appointment. Also two hour after I left my door now doesn’t open so I have to fix that before bringing it back to be fixed for what it was seen. Staff are always friendly just was surprised about a service diagnosis charge when I wasn’t told there would be one along with my door not opening after it was put on the lift.
Making the appointment was simple and quick. The customer service was excellent. The work was completed well and in a timely fashion. The discount were easy to find and apply.

Rich has always looked at my car with the customer in mind during my oil change. My lower engine cover was also torn. I asked if it could be an easy fix to try it. Instead of upselling me to buy a new one like most mechanics, they did a quick fix for me. I know I'll need to buy one eventually. That's why I'll come back to this place every time.
They say they check fluids but went to use wiper fluid the next day and it was empty. Seems like topping off fluid would be included, but I guess you have to ask specifically for that at Midas. Other places do it automatically.
Booked online appointment, confirmed via email the day before, showed up for appointment to be told that they didn’t have staff to complete my tire change. “You should have gotten a call yesterday.” Didn’t. Ended up going elsewhere to buy 4 tires w/install.

He always tells me exactly what is wrong with my car, and what needs to be done and what doesn’t necessarily need to be done, which is appreciated, because you never know when you’re going to try to get cheated, and he would never ever do that. I am going to refer all of my friends to his Midas store in Ankeny.

I was very satisfied with the service I received! My car was making weird noises so I needed to get it in to a car shop as soon as possible. My roommate goes to Midas and recommended them. Midas was able to get me in the same day I called, did a thorough look over my car, and clearly communicated the problems and what needed to be done.

I found a coupon on the Midas website for 23.99 and I couldn't get into the Mazda dealership so I figured I'd try Midas after seeing good online reviews. When I arrived I was told that the coupon wouldn't be honored on a Mazda and that the price would be $80. Then the guy proceeded to tell me it would be best if I winterized my car and that was $140. I believed he was being honest so I picked that package. I paid a total of $171 which is a lot of money to me as a single mom. Then after asking around, I have friends that say that same coupon was honored for them. I am having a hard time understanding why you're posting coupons that you don't honor. It seems like a scam to reel people in. The BBB will be notified of this.
The billing itemized is terrible. I asked for front diff service, it only lists diff service. Need to be more detailed on work done.

Coupon that I had gotten online wasn't honored. The price was supposed to be $25 and I was charged around $45. Taxes and fees shouldn't add up to almost as much as the service.Also after getting home I noticed I was leaking oil on my driveway. After getting under vehicle I realized that oil plug was loose and leaking oil for hours.

When setting up the appointment online the email i received stated a midas representative would be in touch in the next 30 minutes. That didn't happen. The more alarming aspect was that when I booked my appointment it had to be "approved" and could range across a 2 hr span. @ hours is way to long to wait for an oil change. I almost cancelled my appointment because of this 2 hour window. I was then not clear approximately how long it would take once the appointment was "approved". The email notification just said to be there at 2.

I attempted to get my oil changed at a few other locations before calling Midas. The other stations didn't have oil for diesel engines.From the start of the phone call to verify that they had the supplies needed and reassured that even if they didn't have the supplies that there is a vendor they use around the corner that can drop off supplies to perform the oil change. The receptionist (Amanda) was great reassuring the supplies would be available. This is also on a Enterprise rental so she needed to run it through fleet management and did everything possible considering it was the weekend, the person needed for the information/approvals wasn't available, so she made extra calls to get in contact with a authorized employee.
They called me to explain I actually had a blown muffler and a bad shock that was really bad. They replace it all in timely matter. My car sounds and drives great again.

Explained that I was on a very long road trip from Phoenix to Chicago and needed routine oil change and tire rotation done. My previous experience in Chicago was not good and very expensive. My experience here was superb and 2/3 the cost of Chicago from the same trip a year earlier, and with the recent high inflation, I'm sure it would have been even more expensive there now. I was very pleased with every facet of my experience and will definitely return for service here when I pass through again.

During my last oil change I was told I would need an air filter and a cabin filter. When making my appointment I mentioned this and said I would get the air filter, an oil change and windshield wipers. When I brought the car in, I again said I wanted all three. The girl who checked me in came back to me like ten minutes and quoted the price for oil change and windshield wipers. I asked about the air filter and she said I didn’t need it. Who do I believe, the one who said I needed it or the one who said I didn’t need it?

I took my daughter's 92 Corsica in for new struts and an alignment and it was done very quickly and now drives great! We should be able to get quite a few more years out of the car now.
It is very hard to find a good place nowadays to take your vehicle and trust the people doing work. They did the repairs needed and took the time to actually make sure the issue was correct instead of charging me to fix unnecessary things. They are honest

This Midas shop does a good job. You get your vehicle back timely. They keep you informed on all the minor stuff that needs done to insure your vehicle will run for a long time.
The Midas team did a great job. They estimated it first and took me out to the shop to inspect the brake pads. There was no high pressure sales push on doing the job. They gave me a fair price for the job and were thorough. they are highly ethical.

Had my car towed to their location. At the time it was -30 degrees every night and they kept my car in their shop over the New Years weekend. Got it done right away on Tuesday when they opened back up.
