I called for an oil change 2hrs before close and Adam said he could squeeze me in. Extremely kind and professional paired with quality service. I already recommended Midas to a friend and now plan on getting my vehicle serviced here regularly.
If you are having a special clearly indicate how much more you will pay for a quart of oil. $69.99 is a good deal for truck. $89.99 is not. I can go to my local shop and get one for $80. This wasn't a deal this was a bait and switch.
I was kept updated on the progress of my car. I didn't feel like they were trying to upsell me on any other products. Plus, my car was expected to have to be there for a couple of days, but they got everything done within a few hours!
Got tires done and within a week my car is telling me that multiple tires have low pressure.
Scheduling was easy and they were finished in less than an our (about 40 min)

I've been a customer for MANY years and have never had a problem ... I'm not surprised when I walk in and see the many awards they've received over the years.
I did use the online service to make an appointment, but never received a confirmation. I called the next day and they told me to just come on in any time. When I arrived, they took my car right away and told me to give the 30-45 minutes for the inspection and they were done under that 45 minute mark. Everyone was friendly, explained the status of my brakes and didn't try to push or upsell me on something I didn't need. The quote given to me was reasonable and is good for 30 days so I didn't feel pressured to get the job done right away, but can wait until it's a better time for me. I appreciate the time they took and that they were honest with the repair needs for the vehicle. It means I'll return when I'm ready to have the work done on my car.

Midas on Clybourn Avenue in Chicago always takes the time to hear out my requests for appointments. They then easily schedule appointments and do great repairs. You can tell this shop gets through lots of cars, both appointments and walk-ins, on any given day. The only snag I had last time around was my client account. Apparently, there were two accounts for me, based on two different license plates. I asked the associate to merge my old account with my current one. I was highly satisfied with my last visit on Oct. 9, 2023, to Chicago's Clybourn Midas. I came for an oil change. My only complaint was that I was not presented an invoice before handing in my vehicle. Though I knew I was getting the promotional full-service oil change for $29.99, it still would have been nice. Long time Midas customer; when I lived in Lincoln Park this was my regular shop. Moved to River North in the early 2000s and loved having the one on Grand west of LaSalle, so close! When they closed a few years ago, I returned to Lincoln Park. I've never had issue and have always been treated with respect.

I brought in an almost new exhaust from a vintage collector car that I wanted installed on a similar car that needed a replacement system. Your service person agreed to what I wanted done. Vehicle and my old exhaust and my 1950's vehicle was left was at Midas. I was called 90 minutes later to advise that the switch had been made. i was unable to pick up the car and asked if it could be left inside overnight (based on the value of the car), which you service man agreed to do. I collected the car the next morning at 9:00 am! This is called Customer Service!

I have been going to this same particular Midas for 25 years. I would never even think about going to any other place for my cars to be serviced. Though I miss some of the people who have left and gone to other places to work I will continue to use the Midas on clybourn off of North avenue in Chicago for their friendliness and the fact that they take good care of my cars.

This was my location when living in Lincoln Park; in 2004 I switched to the LaSalle/Grand location when I moved. Then that closed so I returned to Lincoln Park and am glad I did. Always a pleasant experience and like me, they treat my car well.

The Clybourn Midas is turning into a great shop. New management and staff is younger and more communicative with clientele. The only problem I had at my last visit was staff did not give me my multipoint inspection sheet or my wheel alignment report. Also, I am unsure based on my invoice whether they even performed my five-year wheel alignment. I trust their word that they did. Thanks always to Clybourn Midas for their ever-improving service!

had an emergency first thing in the morning, called in, asked them if i could drop my car off in the next 30 mins and they said yes. I arrived to them waiting for me, dropped off my car, got a call in an hour with an assessment and pricing, was able to pick up my car that same day after requiring parts installation that had to come from offsite.
I have been a customer for over 15 years at this location (Al was the Manager then) The staff are always honest and up front with the issues and cost. They always allow me to explain (in non mechanical terms) the issues and they always understand. They “break it down” for me in lament terms so I can “get it” and I appreciate that pkus they offer pictures of the issues when things are more complicated and to reassure me that in fact the issue is present. They are thorough with their review of my car and my familia’s vehicles as my sister, nephew and bro in law have taken their car there. I wish this Midas location would bring back its oil change special. I used to pay $20.00 for an oil change plus courtesy check and tire rotation. Now, for the last two oil changes, I have paid $29.66. It's only this high because they are raising the price of labor while supplies and fees are the same.

Some of the worse service I have experienced. Brought my truck in for an oil change, then said I needed new brakes. I then took it to Midas, for a second opinion. It turns out my breaks were good for another 10k miles. Marino CJD will rob you blind. The service associates are only in it to make there quotas and will prescribe work orders you don't need. So always get a second opinion.
