I requested a same day appointment in the morning and they were able to squeeze me in late in the afternoon per my request. I waited 45 minutes which wasn’t bad at all. I was told my patience was appreciated and the communication regarding my car was great. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The appointment was easy to schedule and the service representative was very friendly and thorough. I was happy that we got a ride home due to the fact that our new tires needed to be ordered and the car wouldn't be ready until the next and was also picked up the next day to get our vehicle.
An update that moved me from 5 stars to 1 star: Overall skeptical of the business practice and disappointed in the service. ABS sensor came on during repairs for other, seemingly non-related parts (as it was explained to me). Lead technician Angel informed me that there was no way the repairs they were doing could have caused such damage while repairing the other issues. They stated they would have to give me a whole other quote for that repair. As you can imagine, this was already a very costly visit, and the new quote for the issues incurred during this service was close to another $500. Additionally, I learned I had to pay for totally new parts, even though the parts being repaired were under “lifetime warranty”. When asked if my existing warranty would be honored, I was told no. Appreciated the shuttle service, but in retrospect, it doesn’t totally make up for how unsatisfied I am with the “repairs” and business practice. In the future, I will go elsewhere and encourage my associates to do the same.
Daniel was very helpful, detailed with all the issues with my car, honest about pricing, and kept me updated the entire time.

Denice greeted me upon opening the door. She was pleasant. They inspected my car. She showed me the screen and offered to take me to my car to show in person. It was a lot of repairs , which she told me what needed to be done soon. Talked about Midas credit card. Understood that I needed to come bs k in two weeks and was pleasant. I’ve been there several times with both my cars and they have bed awesome . They took me in right away with no waiting.
Service was amazing prices was high but overall they got job done
My car would not start on Christmas evening. Luckily it was in my garage. I called Midas the next mid morning and they referred me to a towing company. The company came and charged the price I was told by Kenny at Midas. Kenny called me when he was able to look at the car. We suspected the battery but he and I agreed the electrical system needed to all be checked as other relevant parts. Kenny sent me information all during the process. He tested the battery several times and other systems and explained the battery would at first test fine then after a bit of running start fluctuating strangely. Once Kenny was sure everything else electrical was fine and this was the problem he quoted me a price for a new battery and recommended replacement which I did. I told Kenny it would be very hard for me to take buses to get to the shop and he told me he could offer me a ride through a service that he would order. He let me know when the car was done and ordered the ride which came very promptly. The price he quoted was what I paid. I have had great service from the manager there who was on vacation, and Kenny was just the same as her. I will use this shop as long as it is open.
All my questions was answered and there was no hidden charges.
First of all, I’m not coming back because you should not let a customer that is looking for winter tires walk out of your store with summer tires. I told the worker I was looking for winter tires, to which he showed me summer tires but stated they had “traction.” I trusted him and took the summer tires. I spent $1,500 because of the worker’s mistake. I went to the store as a customer, not a tire professional; I was looking for a worker who is well educated on these tires. As a customer, I would expect at least $1,500 in store credit. I received an email telling me that I “agreed to buy these summer tires,” but I only bought them because the worker recommended them to me.

They explain everything with the vehicle and then they took pictures of the inspection and send it to my phone that was very surprising you hardly don't find mechanics doing that they went over everything and then told me what's needed and how much it will cost very impressive associates you guys have but the best part is the price very reasonable price

Rely good customer service
The service manager Denise was so nice and helpful to me. Calling around to other Midas locations and they were all unpleasant to me. Denise kept me up later the whole time I waited while getting my vehicle serviced.
I was waiting for my car to be fixed for over 5 hours. Ninety minutes was spent waiting for the mechanic to pick up a part for my car.
My vehicle is in good condition 3 years with 25k miles from new, not any engine light on, never had any accident, come for Uber inspection check up, then staff tell me I need to change front n back brakes, repairs little tiny crack on the front window, change windshield wipers, not pass till I fix it, I feel like I have a old junk car, anyways I take Uber all the time too, I don’t see those cars is newer or in better condition than mine.
Customer Service was top notch! Services were just way to expensive and nowhere near the ballpark I could afford. I had to pick up my car and take it elsewhere. I know you get what you pay for but times are hard and those prices just were a no Brainerd to not get my brakes done here.

Great experience. I ran over a piece of metal and my tire started deflating a few blocks from this Midas. I called and they told me they'd take me as a walk in, and would keep a look out for me on the main road. When I arrived, it wasn't crowded, and the waiting room was small but clean. They immediately took my car and patched it right up. It took about 40 dollars and 40 minutes to get my tire patched, even though it had just happened not too long ago. My other tire shop had a weeks long wait list for something like this so this was amazing!

Fui por una inspeccion de Uber y me indicaron que el costo por dicha inspeccion seria de $45.00 dolares aproximadamente pero desde un inicio me comentarion que si mis limpia parabrisas estaban en buenas condiciones por lo que les indique que si que limpiaban sin ningun problema. Pero resulta que misteriosamente y despues de 30 minutos aproximadamente de inspeccion mis limpia parabrisas despues de ese tiempo de inspeccion no limpiaban parejos y me hicieron pagar por unos nuevos cobrandome $19.00 por uno y $22.00 por otro ah y claro que no podria faltar el cargo por la instalacion de $13.00 asi que mi pago de ser de $45.00 se fue a un total de $110.00 ah pero segun el que me atendio me dio un gran descuento de $5.00 los cuales despues me quito en la parte de abajo asi que los disque $5.00 que me dio me los resulto quitando asi que sin duda alguna son unos RATEROS. Pero creame que les dejare saber a mis amigos y conocidos que nos los visiten ya que no son honestos.

They didn’t want to give me a breakdown on the prices just let me know what was wrong with it. I took it for a wheel alignment but right way the guy said that it was going to be the suspension before checking it and after 40 minutes of waiting there they gave me a total price of $5000 and something of what was wrong with my car and was charge $45.00 for the check up so it was a total day wasted and will be taking my car to another mechanic that won’t charge me for the inspection.

My initial conversation was to bleed my brakes. The person on the phone told me $39.xx. After having the vehicle in the shop, I was told it would be $139.00 more for analysis, then a total of $2400. Some of the recommended replacement items were newly installed recently. When I asked about them, the service writer would only say "That's what they recommended. That's all I can tell you". Upon inspection, I could noticed recent damage. I.e., freshly broken bleeder valve, etc. I took pics and decided this is not the best place to have my vehicle serviced.
The girl in the office was helpful and explained it all to me and I even took my other vehicle to get an oil change there as well
The mechanic did a good job assuming what was wrong with the vehicle. I needed the car fixed by the next day and they made arrangements to get the car fix the next day. They went above and beyond customer service.thank you

Ditch the price hikers and shop at a local mechanic
Lower the prices for oil changes! I’ve noticed the price hikes for a while and I’m drawing the line now when it’s at the point that it costs me nearly $100 to get an oil change. At that point, I can literally do it myself or take it to a local shop who will do it cheaper and it doesn’t go towards a garbage corporation.
I had the pleasure of working with Denise Balbuena while my breaks were being replaced on 08/10/22. Denise really went above and beyond with their dedicated customer service.They provided a courtesy shuttle so I could get home in the middle of a thunderstorm. Also, they were very helpful explaining the price, type of services. Denise also was a great communicator by keeping me updated on the repair timeline, what repairs were needed, and when my vehicle was finished. I also noticed that this Denise was equally helpful to all other customers that were in the store. Their overall demeanor created a welcoming and inviting environment.I want to come back to the Kedzie Street Midas in Chicago because of my interaction with Denise. Midas is lucky to have them as part of your organization.
i have been coming to this particular midas for years, for most of my cars. the service is great, parts are reasonable and the staff is fantastic. i just drop it off, they call me later, and pick it up when it's ready. really smooth
I had to wait at the front desk because there have no people working in the office while I was there. Finally, I have to wait over half an hour for my registration.
Staff is wonderful just the prices are unreasonable. I could have gotten a tire patch for $15 with a 30 warranty at my neighborhood tire shop
They were straight and to the point about the service and pricing. Very clear and up front about everything. Denise did a fantastic job, chain auto care places need more people Denise when going over what is to be expected during the service, things that can arise, and clearly communicating pricing.
The price changes definitely hurt my wallet. I went to Midas with the full expectation of only spending between $60 and $70 on an oil change with tire rotation included. The fact that I spent $120+ was extremely shocking to me. No prices were listed either, I just basically got the bill. Maybe if prices were listed somewhere on the website or in store, I might not have gone to get my service at Midas. I go to Midas because it's affordable and quick, but I think I will look elsewhere from now on.

Part cost $70 labor was over $300Took them little over 1/2 hour to complete job So labor was $600 a hour I’m not the smartest man in the world but I know this was not right I went there for convenience just a walk away from my house but I rather walk ten miles then to ever take my car there again not at those labor costs and believe me I will tell everyone about it

The manager, Denise, was amazing. I had been to that Midas location previously when a different manager was there and did not feel like I was being treated the same as another customer but Denise was so nice to everyone who walked in and treated everyone like a valued customer. Don't know exactly what they did but iI didn't have any car issues prior to going! After going, my car makes loud noise when accelerating and oil light came on and off, and car shut off while driving. Very unsatisfied!!!!
