There is an honesty to this business. Many times I encounter (or at least think I do) car mechanic dishonest scenarios. They run a good shop here.
Communication was excellent, I received frequent updates about the status of work on my car. Staff was kind and responsive. The work was done so incredibly quickly as well! I feel safe having good work done at this shop! I will be returning.

Explain all fees BEFORE doing any work. I was given a long list of additional recommended or necessary expensive repairs that another mechanic said were not needed (eg, I was told I needed a fluid flush and had a nail in tire that was not found upon a second inspection). Don’t mislead or misrepresent repairs to increase the bill. Shady business practice!

Edgar the manager had excellent customer service. Explaining what had to be done and why. Went out of his way to provide a ride home for me when it turned out the job was a lot bigger and would require a few days for the repair. I really appreciated that. Also understood and worked with me about not being able to pick up the car immediately because my work schedule didn’t allow it. Will definitely be back for more service on an old 2000 car. Nice to feel like I was not getting ripped off.
The process was smooth and the staff was great at letting know what my car needed and and updating me on questions I had.
I wanted to make sure I was prepared for the coming winter, so I brought my car to Midas for a coolant/radiator flush and refill. When I got home, I inspected the work, and I could see that the technicians took pride in the service they performed. They even meticulously cleaned the coolant cap and reservoir.
Jerry was great at communicating throughout the process. The car rides like new again after the tire replacement, new Rods and struts and the video he sent me showing me the.leaky radiator via text. I appreciated him showing me a video of what they were seeing when they got under the car during repairs. He was also great about communicating delays to the original turnaround time due to some of rust they had to deal with to the parts they were replacing.

I came in with a tire that had a sidewall tear. I just needed one tire. They were fine with that but they pointed out what I knew already that I needed new tires. After a brief family discussion we decided to do all four tires. Not only was your team ok with it they added a technician to my car to get us out and back on our anniversary schedule of events. We were in and out in under an hour. I will be going back to this location for my brakes replacement in the next month

My car was damaged. The mechanic tried pulling off the spark plug cover which is held in place by four bolts and resulted it being all bent out of shape. It shows lack of knowledge and incompetence on a simple procedure. Your motto is “trust the Midas touch” but the shop obviously doesn’t live up to it, and I would never trust it to do any work on my cars. Do better Midas. Find competent mechanics.

They were honest when they didn't have to be. I worked at Sear automotive and I know how they ripped customers off by telling them something was wrong and it wasn't.
Every employee, from start to finish, was very professional. They explained the steps involved in repairing my vehicle. The staff gave me honest, quality service. It's great having Midas around to ease the stress involved with owning a vehicle. My Wife and I have been using this location for all 3 of our vehicles. I will continue to use Midas for the rest of my life.

I've been using this Midas for all my car's service needs for over ten years and I have been very happy with the way staff handled any situation I have brought to them.
Very friendly staff who are honest and communicate what your car needs. They honored a coupon I got in the mail even though I forgot to bring it with me.
I brought my car in with electrical issues (all electrical-related lights came on at once) and highlighted that I was having issues with traction control. I also highlighted that I recently had another Midas location replace my struts and have been having issues since. The shop called me back after 2 hours of "examining the car" and could not find an issue. I reiterated my point that the struts had been replaced and asked them to look at the brakes again. Less than 30 minutes later I received a call that they found the issue. Not only was I charged for the team's time to not find the issue, but when asked what could have caused it, the service technician said that it could have been a mistake during the strut replacement service at the other Midas location. So not only was this team (Evanston, IL) not able to find the issue despite my highlighting some concerns, but the previous team (Ames, IA), may have caused the issue. Overall, very unsatisfied with the entire experience and lack of expertise shown.

I think the person needs to be forth coming up front about the price of the oil change and let me know the labor cost was $45. If I would have known, I would have gone back and used the coupon I received in the mail. Also, he would have much more convincing power if he checked the actual oil my car needed instead of telling me the wrong number and insisting on it. My car manual said 6.4qt and not 5qt

I came in without an appointment to get tires checked. They patched the tire I was concerned about and installed a couple of filters the car needed in a timely fashion.
