I’ve always enjoyed going the the Midas in Gurnee. Today I stopped by to get an oil change and an estimate for my tires and Josh was very helpful and friendly. The service was done quickly and I was very happy with the help I received.

This Midas is always so kind and patient. I know exactly going in what is going to be done and there aren’t any doubts after! I was able to receive a courtesy car, which was amazing, especially with me not having to wait, I was able to move about the day while I trusted them with my car!
I was so dissapointed. I received a call that they could not do tire rotation which I requested, they said I needed new tires but those tires were not that old. When I came in to pick up my car they charged me for the roatation and did not use my coupon. When I addressed that he was very rude about it. He did not apologize but says I can give you a credit. I asked for a credit refund on my card which he finally did but with an attitude. So dissappointed by the customer service. I would not reer Midas to anyone.
Again I didn’t know I needed a pre-approval for work to use my extended warranty. Stuck paying full amount of 2410.00 instead of my deductible of 250 .00.

Requested tire rotation and staff told me it would take too long to complete. No issues with power steering before visit or at all since owning my vehicle, now my check power steering fluid indicator is on. My steering wheel is tight but my power steering fluid is full. Oil change was quoted at 59.99 with coupon, but ended up $76. During the "inspection" they showed me that the rear left caliper was leaking brake fluid, and quoted me over $1,000 to replace both calipers, rotors, and brakes. WHY? I took the car for a 2nd opinion and they confirmed there was no leak AT ALL. This place is a scam. To repair one alleged caliper this shop quotes all this extra and uncessary work. They should have known my brake pads and rotors are brand new from last year! This incident and the $1,030 quote will be posted on all socia media platforms to make aware what a scam this shop runs. I am so done with this shop!!!
