Chris, Mike and Dan are always very helpful and understanding of my needs. Always suggesting what’s best for my vehicles and packet. I even was offered and was driven home so they could work on my vehicle.
i felt the manager or the mechanic was dishonest with me. i took my f150 truck for an oil change, it seemed to be taking a little longer than usual when the manager told me the oil pan drain kept stripping the drain plugs. never had any issues like this before. i felt the mechanic who changed my oil stripped it and didn't want to admit it. an oil pan replacement on that vehicle is $400 - 600 dollars. i don't have that kind of money to get it fixed let alone i don't feel it's my responsibility. if the mechanic made a mistake he should correct it. please let me know how to correct this problem. respectfiully, bill walsh

Everything was explained step by step. No surprises. Clearly outlined what to look for and / or expect going forward if the minor service did not resolve my issue. In other words they didn’t go for the most expensive and complicated solution but are going step by step using a bulletin that was found. Most places would jump on the most expensive repair but this location is going the correct route, they asked my opinion during the process. Great communication!
I made online, called the shop and had a confirmed appointment at 3:30 on Friday March 1st. I dropped off my car (and left) at 3:30 and I noticed it was already past 5 so I went back to check on my car. When I asked about my car Mike said sorry it’s not done and I was so surprised and annoyed. I couldn’t stay since it was almost 5:30 and assumed it would have been done much earlier. All I was given was an apology but then he told me that it was my fault for not waiting there because it would have been done faster… what the heck is the difference I had an appointment for 2 hours earlier! I have been coming only to this Midas for over 12 years and this is the first time i had a problem. Anyways I had to leave so I didn’t even get my oil changed.
Chris has always been accommodating to my schedule and I have never had issues with the repairs done to my vehicle. The staff is very friendly and courteous.
This facility has kept my vehicles running for over 20 years, A level if trust and satisfaction has been earned by this facility. So glad they are in my Neighborhood.

They were very nice there was something wrong with what I thought was a light out in the back. Turns out it was a whole norther issue and the owner and associate Mike I believe his name was? Gave me some advice on how I could save money to get the problem fixed. I really appreciated that from them. And they were nice enough to charge nothing just for looking at my vehicle I know some places will charge inspection fees but they were nice enough not to. So kind of them thank you again!
I had a leak in my tire and Chris the manager allowed me to come in and inspect my tire 10 minutes before they closed. I got there at 6:02, two minutes after closing and they inspected my tires and patched up the one that was damaged. They stayed 50 minutes past closing- very friendly, so kind, honest, open, and were not trying to sell me on something I didn’t need. I brought them donuts the next morning.

Hello, I brought my car car in to Chris Gora's location to have a custom dual exhaust made for my car. I couldn't tell you how blown away I was with the communication and the work that was done. Chris went over everything with me prior to me dropping the car off. He called me with updates and sent pictures of the progress. The tech (Kuba I believe his name was) did an outstanding job! The exhaust came out way better then I even thought it would! Thank You again!!
The part that was used was $70 I got charged $330. I was charged $260 for labor it took them the max 45 minutes.not a fair price but needed it done now and he knew it.

I had the rotors replaced by Midas 1 1/2 years ago (20,000 miles ago) and just had to have them replaced again. These rotors should last at least 30,000 miles. This is making me question the quality of the parts/quality of the workmanship.

The associate called once the service was completed, when I went to pick up the car, they were professional and asked if I wanted to sign up for a midas account for an additional discount.

I was offered a lower cost option of a repair vs the more costly expense of installing a new muffler.
The front brakes needed to be replaced. However the manager, Mike, indicated that they cannot guarantee the front brakes unless I had the rear brakes done by them. I explained that the rears are fine and that I will have them replaced at Firestone (or some other place) at a later date. Mike continued to be adamant that he will not give any guarantee on the front brakes until they inspect the car to see if the rear brakes have been replaced! Felt like they wanted to trap in to do all brake work with them!
I needed a certain timeframe for my service and was able to fit in even though I didn't give enough notice for Midas to schedule me in They called back and was able to figure something that worked for me

I had a key fob replacement. I was told 30 min to an hour. It took around 20 minutes, so I was pretty happy.
Mike was friendly, helpful and had all my paperwork ready when I arrived. He helped me with the payment using the credit card machine. I was on my way quickly and very happy with my new tires.

They had a good price on the tires I purchased. I was not given a time of how long the tire installation would take. I had the tires installed and alignment checked, and they said it should be done. That took about an hour which I thought was ok. I thought the tire installation took longer than it should.

We had our battery die twice on Friday night. We dropped the truck off at 9:00 p.m. on Friday night, put the keys in the key drop and left a message. By 8:00 a.m. Saturday, Mike had already given us a call to tell us that we needed a new battery. He worked on the car right away and the car was done before 11:00 in the morning. Now that's awesome service!

I had my catalytic converter stolen. Edger worked with me and my State Farm agent very well. I’m 76 and Edger could tell I was confused and upset, so he came and got my car and then brought it back (I only live 4 blocks away. The young man who picked me up was also very nice and we talked about how so many cars are getting their Cats ripped out. I was only in the office long enough to pay, but the place seamed clean. I definitely will go there for my oil change and any other work that they can do on a 2008 Honda Fit. 😊

If had taken my car just a few months before and the price increased a lot tell me about it before I get the car serviced. Explain what kind of oil my car requires in advance. If I used a coupon that had free tire rotation and you cannot do it that day, tell me before I get my car serviced. Don’t tell me that I have to bring the car back after 50 miles. When I question why don’t act like this is normal. I have been taken my cars to get the oil change and tire rotation for years and this is the first time I hear this. My conclusion, you didn’t rotate my tires and I had a road trip the following day. Don’t try to take advantage of me because I am a woman!

I was very impressed with attention and depth of knowledge of the technician as he explain his findings on my recently purchased vehicle. I am an 83 year old senior who appreciated the detailed report of the technician. I had some automotive service training in my younger years, plus I am a retired Electrical Engineer.
I use to get my cars serviced at Suburban Tire in Hanover Park and was disappointed to hear Mike was no longer there. It didn’t take talking to too many people to find out where he was now employed and I quickly followed. Mike treats everyone with the same respect. He can have a line out the door and phones ringing off the hook and handles it with profession.

They said I needed a new cabin air filter. I was shown an old filter, and said OK to a new filter. I wasn't told they didn't have one in stock and had to wait up to 45 minutes for a filter to be delivered. I wish I would have been told how long the wait would have been because I could have gone and purchased my own, probably at a lower price, and put it in myself.

Unless the shop that repaired my drive side rear tire told me the wrong information, Midas did not rotate my tires. The same TPS is malfunctioning in the same tire after the rotation. This is the second time they have missed up with my car. I am sure that it will be the last time.

We've been going to this Midas for years whenever we have a car problem because they have great customer service & are not out to rip you off in price. Honesty is the best policy when it comes to serving the customer.
Went for oil change and my year warranty for a wheel alignment. They were unable to do the alignment because of an outer tie rod being bad, but proceeded with the oil change. In which they were supposed to rotate my tires and put air in them! When I picked up the car a different employee rang me up and I specified if my tires were rotated, he said YES. Long story short, they did not rotate or put air in my tires! When called the manager and told him he needs to educate employees, he snapped
