Rene always has superior service and takes care of his customers.
As was true the last time I went in for an oil change and tire rotation, the tire light is on which will necessitate another trip back to Midas to have it resolved. They ought to be able to check this before they give the car back.

I had an unexpected issue with my muffler and tailpipe and needed it fixed. Brought the car in without an appointment Rene diagnosed the problem, got the parts over and fixed the issue in 2 hours. The parts were covered under warranty and Rene made sure that discount was taken off the final price. Went in today for an oil change. I made an appointment the previous night at around 6:30 pm. I received a prompt call back confirming my 10:30 am appointment for a standard oil change. The office was comfortable, the staff was attentive, and I was out within an hour. Compared to competitors I’ve visited in the past, I was impressed and completely satisfied with my experience.

I have been taking my cars to Midas for many years and until now have always been satisfied. Prior to going to Midas last Friday bought tires at Costco and they have been fine with the correct air pressure. Last Friday I took my car to Midas for an oil change and tire rotation. After leaving Midas. I noticed the next day that the tire pressure light was on. I took it back and they attempted to correct it and in fact did correct it. The next morning I went to my car and again the tire pressure light came on. I decided to try to fix it myself by adding air. It didn’t work.One of the reasons why I have taken my car to Midas is because of the outstanding customer service I have always received from Renee and his team. This is the first time I have had a problem. I hate to bother them again but do not feel I should have to take this to the Honda dealer but don’t know what to do. Any ideas?

I have been dealing with the Midas on Army Trail in HanovePark, Il for years. From oil changes to major repairs they always take excellent care of me and my vehicles. For this repair I had my car TOWED 100 miles to have them repair it. It cost me less than having the local dealer repair it, was finished before that dealer would have even been able to LOOK at it and I know it's done right. They never do unecessary work, are always fair and greet me by name. This car has over 100k miles now, and theone before it ran 25 years and 289,000 miles thanks to the expert service this Midas performs. The only way the service could be better is if it was free.

The man at the front desk was not knowledgeable. I have been a customer at this location for more than 20 years. This was 1 of the worst experiences. Tried to up sell without even looking at recent services air filter not brought out, when I asked what was recommended for the mileage I was basically brushed off.
I feel you’re charging for every little thing so you can run up to charges. The service is good but your prices are to high and I’ll be looking for another shop to take my cars to. You’ve gotten just to GREEDY.

After the work was done they also told me that there would be an odor but not to worry it would go burn off and go away.

It was short notice. I requested my appointment online after hours Friday night and received my confirmation first thing Saturday morning dropped my car off for service and within an hour and a half my car was done and ready for pickup.
They did a great job, completed the job on time. That’s all I could ask for!

Mechanic did not rotate tires because front tire was worn out (I new that tire has little life left so wanted to rotate because rear tire were in good shape. He did not rotate tire that he would in the beginning. He did oil change only. He wanted to replace tires.

I brought my car in for an oil change a few weeks ago, and they showed me a couple repairs that were needed. I informed them that I will be trading in my car in the next couple months and asked about the urgency of the suggested repairs. They were honest that one would not cause more issues or be dangerous and that I just wouldn't have A/C, but that the other should be fixed. This trip was for the second repair and the price was exactly what they had quoted me, and it was completed quickly! Thank you!

Took almost 2 hours. The guy was rude when he tried to sell me new air filters and I politely declined because I had to pick up my dog at the groomer that was closing. He said, "Well the time it will take me to put new filters in is the same amount of time it will take me to put these old ones back in." Hmm apparently not because a simple oil change and wiper blade replacement took 2 hours. AND they were unable to reattach my skid plate and didn't put it in my truck like he said he did.

The service was great as they were polite and professional. But I used a service Coupon - and the labor price more than doubled after I showed them it - so the coupon was basically useless. They charged $171 labor to replace a muffler for a 45 minute job.
