All the parts were available and the wait time was minimal. Everyone was very helpful and kind.
I was provided information that enabled me to make a decision about what replacement tire to purchase. The work was completed at the time promissed and I even got a ride home since I had to leave my car overnight!
I was so happy I made an appointment at this Lake Zurich Midas location. The associates that used to work at the location I visited for years, are here now, so it feels like coming home. I've had my car serviced at Midas since the warranty on it expired after 3 years, and trust them more so than the dealership, which is why I've used Midas for so many years. I have been going to this particular Midas location for many years. Brian (and, more recently Joe) have always been straight with me in the past about issues with my car(s), and I have never felt pressured by them to do things that they have recommended if I declined them at the time. They seems to be honest, straightforward people, giving me the information I need without BS or "spin" and I very much appreciate that, as I have generally felt (in the past, at other car care places) that I'm constantly being pushed to do more things, and I am not convinced those things are necessary. It is a pleasure to work with friendly, honest, non-pushy, knowledgeable, and straightforward professionals. Although I didn't have a lot done this particular visit, I have had a lot of service over the years, and I am basing my answer to this question on those visits as well.
Everyone is friendly, they look throughly at my vehicle, and they make recommendations based on my vehicles needs.

Store manager refused service and his team members used could language and sweared. I was just discussing the charges with my wife and manager overheard something just simply refused service. These guys are highly unprofessional. Told me that they have cancelled my appointment and refused the service. I have had bad experience with these guys in the past as well. They are racist and use very bad language and never provide any clear answers.

When they check the tire pressure they never tighten up the caps on the tire valves. Last time one fell off and they replaced it but not the color of the other 3. This time I checked the tightness of each cap before I drove off and again all 3 were loose. I will continue to bring my car there because I feel the employees are trustworthy and will maintain my vehicle with expertise. I just wish they would make sure the caps are secure. In the meantime I’ll just check them prior to leaving.
Came in for a routine oil change, but discoveries were made about brake fluid needing changed and rear brakes being as close to low/bad as possible. I took into consideration what was said to me about the things needing to be done and what the cost would be in the end, and I so greatly appreciate their service. Couldn’t have been better. I only waited about an hour for everything and it flew by, I had questions about someone else’s vehicle and they were incredibly helpful and kind. Would recommend this location to everyone!
Not being petty when a customer declines a product or service. Found multiple scratches on multiple windows. Cabin air filter now makes a loud noise after changing out the old one.

I had an engine light go on indicating a problem . i was reassured that this unexpected problem could be handled during the day. The serviceman seemed very knowledgeable as to what might be the problem. I always have very polite, positive, friendly experiences at this shop . I feel they are honest and the price is fair. They seem to go out of their way to help when the service is not scheduled. I use this shop on a regular basis and am never disappointed.

Labor rates have increased almost 60% in the last year. Was not advised of this prior to booking appointment. Then the 8% shop charge is also applied to the labor charges. We understand inflation but this is truly excessive. People vote with their feet.
