I called Midas at 8:00am because my brakes were grinding and I couldn’t drive my car. Spoke to the Manager, Steve, and he was able to provide me with an estimate over the phone. He said I could bring in my car immediately. I drove over to the shop and had one of the mechanics drive me home. Within 1/2 hour Steve called me and explained what needed to be fixed and provided me with the exact total it would cost. Within 4-1/2 hours Steve called me and said the work was complete and he was sending his mechanic to pick me up. I was so impressed by the professionalism, great communication and service I received! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who needs work done on their car! If I ever moved and had car problems, I would drive all the way to this shop to have work done. I was very impressed and felt that they were extremely honest and that I was not being taken advantage of for other services. Great Manager, staff and service!!!

I understand being short-staffed by staff calling off sick, but I did not get any call all day. I called a half hour before the shop closed, to find out Midas would need to keep my car and continue the work the next day. The next day, work completed later than promised, and again no call to relay that message to me.
I came in for an oil change, but I’ve been in the market for new tires. Kenneth helped me with a plan and I’m coming back for tires and brakes next week

They initially suspected the angle sensor was broke, after they checked it and it is fine, they removed the charge for me. The car works fine so far.

The price of the oil change plus tire rotation was $89. I had a $20 off coupon. Thats $69 plus tax. I paid $85. I could not find anything on the invoice that showed me why I paid what I paid. There were labor and parts charges, none of which added up to $89. And there was no evidence of the $20 off. The invoice/bill should not be that confusing for a simple oil change and tire rotation.

I do not know much about cars. I had gone a long time without a big service on my car and I’m really happy with the people that are working at this location because they took time to explain everything to me as well as not take advantage of my naivety in the subject. I felt like I was being taken care of and that my car was being taken care of because that’s my baby.

I would not say I am highly satisfied with the Midas experience in general, but rather I am highly satisfied with the Midas experience of the particular location I went to. A couple of years ago, I had a heat shield issue on a Saturday. I went to several repair places (including a different Midas shop) and they all were basically shutting down for the day and didn't want to deal with me so close to closing time. I went to this particaulr shop, and not only did they inspect and fix my problem so close to closing time, they did it at an unreasonably low price. They mentioned I needed new tires ( I already knew this) and asked if I wanted a quote. I said yes. There was no hard sell, just a quote. I compared the quote to the cost from the tire place I usually go to, and it was similar, so I gave it a shot. Even though an alignemnt was part of the quote, they said is wasnt' needed, so they didn't chargre me for it. Three quarters of the work on an lighnment is getting it on the rack. The fact that they didn't charge me (when they could have) made me realize this is an honets shop. This is now the only place I take my vehicle.
They treat me very well as I bring in 3 different cars. They never over sell me!

The people where very knowledgeable of the process and products for my car. They were very friendly and helpful. I asked them questions about products like SeaFoam engine cleaner and they gave me info on Midas services that can do the same thing. They took a look at my tire that has a slow leak and gave me a quote on how much to repair it. They were fun and told some jokes, it was a great experience. I'm definitely returning too get some work done, its hard these days to find a good place to take my car.
Clearly explained the procedure and repair needed. Gave me time frames that were very reasonable. Followed through with excellent service at a reasonable price and made it a pleasant experience. Kenny and Steve at the desk were so wonderful and the repair team was amazing.
They did work they didn't tell us they were going to do. They were only supposed to do the front rotors and they did all 4. They charged $35 labor for changing a $1.99 light bulb. They acted like they were doing me a favor. They did not explain they would charge so much for labor. They didn't give me the chance to say no and do it myself. They were like, we'll take care of that for you. And, then charged a ton for labor.
Appreciated the no-hassle, no pressure service. Took car in for oil change and tire rotation, and they provided inspection report and explained findings, but did not pressure into any further service, which can happen at some auto service centers.

I liked that he called me to confirm I wanted the rear brakes done even though his technician was informing him that the front brakes were worse. Because of the safety issue that his team brought up I decided it was better to have all the pads and rotors replaced. I love that they are looking out for customers from a safety standpoint and not trying to upsell something you don’t need!!!

I had an issue with the "check engine" and them not allowing me to pass an emissions test with the light on. The codes for the check engine light started with a couple codes but then others appeared and others appeared over the course on months. Midas stayed with the problem and provided the solutions and stuck with it. They ere great and friendly and never lost patience.
They correctly diagnosed the problem and fixed it the 1st time. They were very polite and explained the issue clearly.

I had an appt. scheduled for a brake fluid check the following morning. I went out and my car just stopped running. I called AAA and they tried to jump it. The charge would not hold. AAA towed my car to Midas. Steve was very helpful and understanding. They started checking out my car within a half hour. I was offered a ride home and a pick-up the following day. My car was striped when Ieft the shop. Steve explained what needed to be done, answered my questions and gave me a price for the repairs. I felt Steve was fair and honest with me. My chair is now running like a charm. Thank you Steve and Midas.

I just ended a 20 year relationship with the Midas stores in Naperville and Bolingbrook. This visit was the final straw, but other incidents in the past 18 months or so had me thinking about it. I trusted you people for 20 years. You ruined that.The online estimate I got via your website stated "Below are typical prices for the services you requested". It was for $370-$390. When the work was done , which was precisely for the services I requested the estimate for, they tried to charge me $568. After a conversation with your extremely rude and unprofessional manager, Eric, I was charged $391 - approximately matching the estimate. No customer should have to get in an argument with one of your managers in order to actually pay the amount on the estimate. No additional work was done.I am considering posting reviews on Yelp and Google about this extremely bad experience. I have the email estimate from Midas as well as the original and revised bills. My descriptions will be exactly accurate. Your position on this was indefensible. Even the counter guy agreed with me.Shame on you for ruining a very long and trusting relationship.

I brought my car in for an oil change and was advised that there was an oil leak, probably around a seal, but I was advised to contact the dealer, because the expense would be covered under the factory warranty, which I did. The dealer repaired the gasket, which resolved the leak at no charge to me because of the warranty, which I hadn’t realized I was still under. Midas saved me a lot of money..

For the last 3 years ( I have 2 cars) that had oil changes. Never in the previous 3 years was I ever charged more, for the additional oil needed over 5 quarts. I realize that prices are going crazy but I should have been informed and not be required to read the fine print with a magnifying glass.

I was able to easily schedule an appointment with Midas for a time I could bring the car in, and they were able to perform routine service and make repairs to parts needing changing or upgrades. The price was within my budget and the wait time was reasonable for what they found to be wrong with the vehicle.
I had front end issues the last time I brought it in and for what ever happened, I ended up with two worn front tires I have to replace and they're not cheap!
Inspected car and noticed filter needed to be Changed and also applied a $10’off coupon without I was unaware of.
They didn’t listen to our problem. The AC was broken. Just filling it with Freon did not resolve the problem as I explained to them.

The issue was explained fully so I understood the issue and the resolution. I was very happy with the work performed and the timing of the repair.
