I've had services with this Midas location in years past. More recently a relative received elaborate brake work, to their vehicle. Replacement of the brake booster and master cylinder. The work was done professionally and in a timely matter. The best part of it all, the were willing and able to out bid the competitor's prices! Recently here I received an oil change and tire rotation on my new vehicle. I also received an inspection check list, which I greatly appreciate. Paul at the 8530 Michigan Rd location is a wonderful manager of the location who has worked directly with us and has gone above and beyond in order to complete our vehicle repairs and keeps us coming back. Without Paul and his excellent customer service and reliability I would not bring our vans to this location.

I went to Meineke and was greeted with horrible service and they said they couldn’t get me in until much later in the day (although they had only 1 car in the bay and no customers waiting). The greeting was enough for me to leave. Next stop was Midas. They greeted me, took me right in, and held friendly convo while I waited (which didn’t seem long at all). I’ll be back for sure!

My car was kept over night with promise being it would be the drop off day 5-6 hours later. I called at 4:30pm and was informed the tires would not be delivered until the next day. I am unsatisfied with the lack of communication by Midas front office.

Paul ensured I understood what was going on with my vehicle and pricing before moving forward with anything additional. I appreciated his clear communication and giving me information needed to determine next steps.

Great customer service, They diagnose the problem and told me what it need to be done but they didn't charge me because they don't have equipment to work on my foreign car.

thought the price of the battery way to much, also on my way home my brake light keep coming on. next day went back to midas, michael came out to my van and pointed out that my brake fluid was low. it would have been nice if he added brake fluidso i went to wall mart and bought some. i just thought i spent almost 900.00 they should have checked all my fluids. when i go to a dealer they check everthing

Speed and ease of access to the remedy

When returning to the original location that did the oil change they did not even try to fix the problem, they made an excuse and said the car was fine. I then had to go to another location and they actually put forth the effort to fix the issue of leaking oil. Then I had to return again due to what I was told was a defective part. The location on Michigan Rd did what they could to fix the issue and were kind in doing so, but 4 visits due to an oil change and the amount of my time waiting was not worth it.

I greatly appreciate being able to schedule service instead of taking a number and waiting. I also was able to drop off the vehicle ahead of my original time which was a great help to me. I'm also happy that there didn't seem to be a problem getting needed parts. As well, it didn't take that long to get my vehicle serviced.

The wait time and also when I ask a question about my oil change like should I check my oil down the line and how should I check my oil after sitting are before riding my vehicle and the staff member of Midas gave me an answer and I was told I could bring my vehicle back into Midas to check the oil level to me that's thinking about my vehicle and value my service

Paul was a customer service expert. I was visiting from out of town and he had a minor repair but he squeezed me in for a quick tire repair.

I didn't have to wait an extreme amount of time for my service to be completed. Mike even informed me of a discount that I wasn't aware of, and applied it to the amount, which was awesome. My experience there was great.

It was a pleasure to work w the manager Paul Crabtree. I'm planning to bring both of my cars for all future work to this location. Paul obviously cares for his customers.

The price for the service communicated over the phone was different then when I picked up the car. The discount was also not the same amount as communicated over the phone before the repairs were made. I was double checking receipt but got some attitude from associate. It should always be ok for someone to want to confirm services they are paying a lot of money for.

I have gone to this location for years, even after I moved 25 min away. Last time they didn’t check my lights to see if any weren’t working. Sounds minor but you have always checked things for me. This visit I have my wipers replaced and they keep jumping or getting stuck mid cycle & the wiper pops up off the windshield. I may not be so upset if it hadn’t happened every time I turn them on this could have all been averted had the mechanic checked his work. Now I have to drive 25 min each way. I’m not happy and getting less happy because I keep trying to call and I’m either placed on hold or it rings continually then transfers you to a voicemail that is full then you get hung up on. So..,..I’d like to get it fixed but I have to get through on the phone first. The place seemed chaotic during my visit and it’s never been like that.

I needed an oil change and tire check for a last minute road trip and they were happy to help.

Be more clear and specific with the estimates. Also if you don't have experience with a brand vehicle, don't take those marks and don't try to use silly excuses for not doing what we expect.

Paul is a friendly and caring manager. All the charges on my invoice was not disclosed to me with a payment much higher than the amount discussed. Paul resolved my complaint and won me over. Because of him I will go back tip Midas.

Dan was quite honest on what needed to be done and gave us a price that was exactly the same when we went to pick up car.

If you break something fix it. When you take your car in and it is totally running and when they are done working on your vehicle you have to call a wrecker to have it towed to another shop to get fixed after they tell you what you was originally there for that there is no problem.

The indianapolis location on Michigan road provides terrible service and issues after you bring in your car. I am unfamiliar with other locations- but this location is not doing well. After my issue someone else mentioned they received terrible service as well after and car issues. This is a terrible terrible location

Better customer service with better individuals

I went online to schedule an appointment. I received an email back confirming that appointment. But when I arrived there was no record of my appointment for a synthetic oil change. The gentleman at the desk was very friendly and a good conversationalist. But he talked too much at the sacrifice of working. If he were able to multitask I would have no problem. But he talked for 20 minutes and worked for five. And that was with the customer ahead of me! When it was my turn to check out it took over 30 minutes ! And that was mostly due to him talking and not working. I spent 2 1/2 hours in the waiting room, and that was with a pre-scheduled appointment. And the final straw really, was that I don’t think I got the tire rotation. Which was supposed to be included in an already high priced oil change.

We had a brake emergency and they were able to take the car in and diagnosed the issues right away. In addition, they found another potential problem. Repairs on both issues were completed by the next day.

Mike - the manager, ordered a thorough inspection., which they completed, at no charge. Inspection revealed old age/rust damage to exhaust system, that just happened, not caused by tire replacement. He offered both a full replacement, and short term repair that he could have done, for less money. They made the repair right away, now I can budget for the full replacement down the road. Great service on day before a holiday!

I came to Midas because my car wasn?t driving faster than 10mph. I got a print out from autozone of what was wrong with my car. Midas said their diagnosis was unreliable and therefore I should pay $100 for their diagnosis and that it would know what?s wron

Part of my requested service was a tire rotation and I can tell that wasn't done. I also know I need a new tire yet all were marked in good condition. It just leads me to wonder what other corners were cut. No one went over the check list of needed service

Bought a brand new tire after this service and two months later my tire in thinning tread exactly as the last one. AVOID THIS SHOP!!!!

I went in to replace the valve cover gasket and have them check the coolant system for leaks. They tried to price gouge me and bundle a radiator kit into my gasket replacement. This made my gasket repair $420 instead of $260. I caught them when I refused the radiator kit and they attempted to charge me 400 for the VCG. Also radiator replacement is $100 if I do it myself and they quoted me at $800 . Unethical practices like this one should be abolished
