I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years. This last visit was great, even more so than previous visits, because the ASE Certified Mechanic was behind the counter, apparently due to a back injury, anyway, he met a competitor's quote immediately and got me in right away and treated me much more cordially and professionally than Mark did as store manager. While Mark was always jovial and gave great prices, his level of compassion and integrity could never match this ASE Mechanic who helped me with my front brakes this time. He really works very well with customers, even though his prior work has been "behind the scenes", per se. Incredible experience here this time, and just pretty good every other time before. I brought my car in for a check-up before going on a road trip. As part of this check-up, I explicitly asked for the tires, tire treads, and tire pressure to be examined. I mentioned that the low tire pressure indicator light had recently come on, and to check whether any of the tires had been punctured. In the end, the mechanic said there was nothing wrong with the tires, but one day after the tires were re-inflated, the tire pressure indicator light came on again. I went to Walmart and it turns out the back right tire was punctured. Somehow, this incredibly simple problem went undetected by the check-up. I am no longer confident in the quality of work done by Midas and I will not be recommending Midas to anyone.
They employees were extremely nice and help me understand what was wrong with my car and why I need to get things done. They also explained the order I should get things done so I can have my car functioning and fixed properly
My family has been going to Midas for as 20 years. If there was a problem after working on such as power windows or windshield wipers etc. Then Midas would fix the Problem! 🙂

I had my issue arise the evening before and had to abandon my vehicle and my vehicle just happened to break in a gas station lot right next to 'another' tire place but I've had more then one bad experience with them so I called Midas and my quote was a fraction of what the other guys quoted. They also told me it would take at least an hour but not Midas, nope, gentleman on the phone said bring the tire right in and we'll work you in... And they did. GREAT JOB AND EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
Jona Ewan quoted me the wrong price multiple times prior to arriving. Did not honor the deal I came to this location for. On another occasion told me they had to push start my automatic transmission vehicle with a straight face. Visiting manager Mike was great and made things right with a free oil change card. Jon is also great.
The staff was friendly and attentive to me. They called when they found an issue to see if I wanted it addressed. They explained what the issue was and why I needed to get it fixed.

Actually complete some work. Even though one issue couldn't be fixed by Midas doesn't mean that you keep my car for 2 days and dont complete anything, not even the oil change. My time is important as well.
There is no other facility I would take my car to for service of any kind. They are reliable,have excellent technicians and can be trusted for an honest opinion. Have been going here for years and will continue to do so.

The employee made a comment to a customer along the lines of, I can’t talk to you like this, “the customer was a lady” but then said I can talk to my coworkers like this tho. My windshield wiper fluid was completely empty in the reservoir. After my oil change. And then upon praying with cash, the employee made a comment to me, “you and I can start dating with all of that cash” That is completely unacceptable!! I won’t even let my wife go to Midas at all now.
The mechanic has no idea what he is looking at. You fuys try to rip somwone off 2000$ for a simple fix. Always helps to get second opinions. This place will rip someone off in a heartbeat with unnessary work. Crooked place.

I was very satisfied with the experience that I received, considering I wasn’t planning on even going into Midas on this visit, but I had no choice. Hub assembly was going out But I had no idea it was going to go out that fast and pretty much leave me stranded

Aside from the timely fix to my issue, the customer service was exceptional. The staff members are positive and clearly educated in their area. Explanations of the issues and their fixes were relayed.
When I called to schedule the appointment I was quoted a different price than when I arrived. All though after the service was completed I was only charged what I was quoted over the phone. I’m very happy with the mechanic, he inspected my vehicle to find marker lights out and replaced them as well as airing up my tires. The only thing that I have to complain about is letting me know the status of things. Such as when the mechanic comes in to get his work order to give an announcement when he is starting on said vehicle.
I could drop my car off to Jona at 6pm the night before and picked it up the next night after getting back from KY
This location is the best! Highly trained, professional staff. They care about their customers and want them to return. They are compassionate when it comes to the cost and time. My car had a new transmission put in at another repair place. Shortly after it was driven away from repair place, it died. The repair wasn't equipped to repair what they felt was wrong. They had our car towed to Midas. Mark was AMAZING!!! He test drove my car and told me there wasn't anything wrong with the car, it just needed to be re-acclimated to the battery. Mark also has a great personality!
I AK from out of town for a college football game, where I experienced a stall in my car turning into a parking lot the night prior - where my battery light came on and power steering failed. I called the next morning around 7:30 am and talked to Mark on the phone about the issue I experienced, and was told to come in. Upon arrival, Mark was able to explain potential diagnosis with the information given, in a way that someone that is unfamiliar with car lingo could understand. Mark was extremely friendly and personable and I felt comfortable that things would go smoothly. Luckily, the issue my card had that caused me to make the trip to Midas seemed to be a "fluke". I was not charged for the process of diagnosis and was able to make the 4 hour drove back home. I did leave a tip for the above and beyond service that Mark was able to give. You could tell that he was passionate about his job and loved life, and the world really needs more of that.
Starting from making an appointment online, it was easy and quick, the representative was pleasant and friendly. I was welcomed with smile when I got to the location, the service and cost was thoroughly explained. Overall, it was a wonderful experience .
Overall, I was satisfied with the service and how they got my car fixed in a timely manner. I work Wednesday-Saturday 6:30am to 5pm, so they fixed it right on time.

1. I had to wait 30 days for a repair that should have taken 5 days. Your technician damaged my front differential. It needed to be loosened in order to remove the oil pan. It took approximately 30 days for YOU to replace the part YOU broke! 2. My engine still has an active fault code. 3. The new oil pan gasket leaks.4. There is a missing cotter key for the castle nut on the right front suspension. 5. The steering wheel was dirty. 6. The cab smells like oil. I live 355 miles from this location. But if I lived 5 miles from them, I would not return to this location. It was a terrible experience. A refund would improve my experience!

I went in for brake pads, then it was said i needed rotors (which i thought i might have needed) so i was okay with it. then a battery. i just dont think i should be charged for labor to change out a battery...
Marc and Jeremy were extremely friendly and entertaining. My car was fixed in a very short period of time and a complete explanation as to what occurred was provided. The price was fair. The car that I had repaired is an older car and after my experience at this location, I feel comfortable that my daughter who will drive the car will receive excellent service there if another issue arises.
Scheduling was very easy. I was able to get my car in fast. Everyone was very friendly. Price was much lower than the other quote I got and service was fast.
I brought a spline in to have the lower ball joint removed and install the new one. It took less than 15 minutes and I was charged 75 dollars for such a simple task

This is my third visit to this mitis location. The staff is wonderful. I’ve been completely satisfied every time they call me when my vehicle is ready I live in Indianapolis I work in Lafayette but when I need something done to my vehicle I wait to walk. I’m in Lafayette so I can go back to this Midas location for help.
Jeremy did the vehicle reservation, intake and payment processes. I enjoyed that Jeremy was willing to engage in basic, friendly "banter" relating to the day, current events, vehicle assessment. Said "Hello" to Mark on the way toward waiting for service to be complete. He, too, engaged. Good fellas.

Nothing was explained about my service, windshield wipers needed to be replaced and it was not checked. Associate tried to upsell a product to me that I do not believe is necessary at this time. Not sure it the person was an employee, but there was a person sleeping in the waiting room. Only guessing because the person was wearing a mechanics uniform. Two of the three employees I had an interaction with were impolite. The third person who checked me out was the only good interaction I experienced at the store.
Jeremy is very rude every time and has the attitude of not wanting more customers. Mark and Johnna are awesome and always make it work!!

Don’t tell customers that they need something that is not bad on their vehicle. Be honest about it. Had my truck checked out by another garage and they found nothing wrong with my truck. Your shop wanted to charge me 1200 for a steering shaft that was not bad.
How fast they got me in and repaired my truck
My partner and I were casually driving to work when our tire popped. The employees there at Midas helped put a spare tire I just happened to have on hand with ease! Got us in and out. Will definitely be a returning customer. Also, all the employees had such great attitudes!

When scheduling my appointment, I asked if there was car service to take me back to work and was told yes. When dropping off my car, a different person checked me in and was very annoyed that I needed a ride back to work. They took me, but I felt as though I had done something wrong. Also, I saw the sign that states Free Tire Rotation with Every Oil Change so I asked about the service. I was providing my own oil and filter because you don't carry the brand we use. He stated in a rather condescending tone, "For customers who buy their oil from us!" That prompted me to rethink requesting an estimate for new tires. Not because of that policy but because of the way he was treating me as a customer. I understand not offering an additional service in a case like mine, but he didn't have to make is sound like I was trying to steal from him. The lady that was working was very nice and helpful.
People bringing their cars in are already having a bad day. Staff who are unknowable shouldn’t be treating customers as if they are doing them a favor by checking them in. I would have rather been turned away than talked to the way we were. The man who took my information was so rude and condiceineing if I was able to take my car someone else I would have in instance. We will not be returning.
Marc is always very friendly and pleasant and makes the experience satisfactory. If there's ever a problem or an issue, Marc always stops what he is doing, goes out to the bay and ensures it's taken care of on the spot. But it's not just Marc that makes the experience pleasant, all of the front counter staff and the mechanic (Joe specifically is who has done my recent repairs) they are ALL very friendly, informative and keep communications flowing. Always a great experience all around!
fixed engine sensor issue
The front desk guy first told me to go to tire barn because he didn’t have any staff to remove mail from tire. I hate tire barn. Turned my frown upside down when a worker came back from lunch and serviced my car.
Friendly service, explained what was being done. Checked for anything that would be a problem in the future and explained in detail what had to be done. Marc is excellent in helping to get what I need done.
I was treated very badly, and the store was trying to get as much money as they could while my car was there. We wanted a certain type of service done, and Marc/mgmt was pushy and nasty because we didn’t want to have any other work done. This type of bad behavior wasent the first time, that I experienced from this store. I will never return there again. It’s really to bad, I had a really good relationship in CA. but not in Lafayette.
I purchased 2 new tires with an alignment. However, when I went to pick up my car the alignment had not been done. I had to wait for another hour because I arrived 20 minutes before closing. I would say the techs could have had these completed verses standing around doing nothing 30 minutes before closing.
Brakes were failing and Midas got me in for service immediately even though they were very busy. Manager was very kind and welcoming (and humorous) All the employees I interacted with were very friendly.
Manager and everyone went out of their way to make sure I knew what was happening and they worked with me on the repair. Love this Midas shop and will continue to return to it. The service is excellent and so is the Manager Marc Horton. The tech who worked on my vehicle went out of his way to make sure things were right. I appreciate all that were involved.

Convenient location as my car was overheating. Excellent on boarding and efficiency with completion of car issue resolution. Even gave me ride down to my other car over a mile away since my daughter is driving, the overheating car and I had to come get her.
It was easy to schedule an appointment. I dropped my vehicle off before work and they text me by my lunchtime, saying it was ready to be picked up. The overall price at the end was very pleasing. I will definitely be returning to Midas.

The waiting area appeared dirty. There were wrappers on the floor. The bathroom was clean. My vehicle was done and it took a while for my paperwork to be called. I Normally have a good experience. This was not this visit.

During previous oil change at same location, guide tube on the oil cap was not put back. I was asked to purchase a new oil cap for $60+ during this visit. The associate refused to accept their fault and the car was running last 5k miles without a properly installed oil filter. I had to haggle to get $20 discount and ended up paying $40 for a $20 oil cap all due to their fault. Will not return to this place.

I had the a rear tire blown out. They fit me into the schedule. I had expected a longer wait because of the amount of customers. They were friendly and made me laugh.

They didn't call me back about what they found on my car until I called and asked.Their labor charges are ridiculous. I showed MIDAS estimation to the other mechanic, the other party charges me only 1/4 price on same services.
A weekend before thanksgiving, when all the other service station said they cant do alignment, Midas representative Mark said bring it in buddy, we will figure out something.

Please honor your schedule, when someone signs up for an appointment from 8-9, you should at least try to do ANYTHING for them in that time period. Also, not take random unscheduled people ahead of someone who actually scheduled. I also do not appreciate being upcharged 100 dollars, that was really shifty, as my sister had the exact same oil change for 30 dollars less. They didn't make a single effort to communicate and when I asked since I informed them of my semi tight schedule.

I dropped off vehicle for oil change and check up at 11:00. They called me at 5 to say that it was ready to be picked up. Got there and said it had to have repairs and would be done by noon the best day. The next day they never called so I called them back at 5 and they said oh yes it is ready to be picked up. Picked up next day and it made metal rattle noise. Took it back and they said oh bring it back tomorrow. I told them I am not driving it till it is fixed. They said give us the key we will see what we can do but probably won't get to it till tomorrow. They ended up calling me.saying they forgot to tighten my bolts after they put my shocks on I can come pick it up tomorrow.

To be highly satisfied, the price of the service has to be highly competitive. I have other mechanics who service my vehicle. They charge a significantly lower price than Midas. However, for the sake of fairness, the customer should be aware that outfits such as Midas, are there when others aren't available. There's a price for convenience. And for that being said, I have been generally happy with the quality of work performed on my vehicle.I've had Midas work on my vehicle several times. I've spent a lot of money at Midas. I depend on this vehicle for one of my sources of income. Personally, I spend a little more, but they allow me to continue to make an income. And I have no problem with that.

The staff at Midas was beyond accommodating. We had battery charging issues while on a family road trip. We called on our way into town to get work done on the vehicle. The staff was prepared for us and checked the vehicle right away. It was late in the day and the job needed for our vehicle was projected to take 4 hours, meaning we would have to stay the night. The staff recommended a great hotel in town and even provided transportation. The next morning, we received a call that our vehicle was finished, they picked us up from the hotel with our vehicle. The customer service they provided was the best we have ever experienced. Thank you for taking care of our family.

I will not be back, took my car in for a brake flush. Was told this would take about an hour but wouldn't be until the next day which was fine. Called the next day in the late afternoon and car hadn't even been looked at yet, asked if it was going to be done or if I needed to take it elsewhere, the employee put me on hold and then came back saying I could come get my car...so I did. I took that as being very rude and very poor work ethics. That store used to have a fenominal reputation but not anymore.

The place was clean and the people were friendly. The associates were understanding of my financial situation and explained why I was getting some of the services. Because of the situation I described, Midas called me and had me come in days earlier due to safety concerns, which I really appreciate!

I was passing through Lafayette on my way to Wisconsin from Virginia when I encountered issues with my brakes. Midas was open early, 7am, the team at that Midas location were very accommodating to work me into their schedule to evaluate and fix my car problem so I could continue my journey safely.
Simply put.Best service, best smiles on faces, was fun to be there, they were honest, and left knowing I would absolutely bring my vehicle back.

Marc was incredibly communicative and lively during my visit to the Lafayette, IN. location. He was also very friendly and kind to every visitor that came in. The service was phenomenal and they were very willing to work with me on the price of the repair.
I feel that the problem was misdiagnosed from the beginning and I was told the work had been completed. When I went to leave I realized the problem had not been fixed. They tried to convince me that it had been but to only find out the problem was something else that needed additional services. I spent over 7 hours waiting for my brakes to be repaired.
Every aspect of this visit was terrible. At the end of the visit, the manager said "next time, come in on a Wednesday, it won't be as bad." My response was "if I have an appointment, no matter what day it is, it should never take 7.5 hours to replace my brakes. And, there won't be another time as my last visit here went almost at poorly." After my right turn signals didn't work immediately following the visit, a technician named Mike was the one bright-point of the entire day. He immediately offered to find the problem and fix it and he did so within a few minutes. He would be the ONLY reason I would ever return....but, that will not happen as the rest of the staff runs the place in a terrible fashion.
The price I paid for the alignment was more than across the street

The final price was $50 under what I was quoted. The boss has great energy and fun to work with. He knows I can't afford all the repairs during my visit and tells me what's most important and what can wait.
I went in for the rods, but after joe lifted it he informed me it was the wheel bearings. Well they had recently done wheel bearings on it so they just fixed it up under warranty and went ahead and changed the outer tie rods and did an alignment. They were honest with me about what was going on and as always, did an amazing job. Marc also gave me a quote on new tires after noticing how bad mine were. It did take them all day to get it done, but they got it done and made it right. I will be returning for some work here in the near future.

Every time I try to schedule an apt. online I get a message saying that someone will get back to me within so many hours to confirm the apt.-no one ever gets back so you never know if you have an apt. or not. I came to this apt with my 8 y o son there were a couple of people who went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and take care of us (particularly the woman in the office). I did very much appreciate this.The mechanic was working on three vehicles at once- which i understand the need for productivity but at the same time, how do you finish one job if you are constantly going back and forth between vehicles. I was there for an oil change and tire rotation. I was told i had some corrosion on my back rotors, which i thought was odd since i was just there a few months prior spending almost $1000 to fix the entire brake system of my car. After they looked this up, suddenly it was just a hardware issue and they would take care of it for me. I watched the mechanic the entire time- my tires never got rotated. Then when I asked about if they got rotated or not I got told that they were supposed to but "i wasn't here so i don't know". No offer to ask or anything.

We always take both of our vehicles to this Midas location sagamore pkwy, Lafayette INEveryone there act very professional. We have always been happy with everything. Mark is the best at customer service. He is our favorite there, but everyone has been great.

waited more than 3 hours for simple engine light. in the end, they said to me to come back within a week to recheck. the problem didn't solve. I already knew the codes on my engine light and was expecting for diagnosis and getting an estimate for repair. They didn't do or say anything I didn't already know in more than 3 hours of the visit.
The store manager is amazing person and has a great personality. All the employees there are so friendly understanding and caring. They listen and talk. They make u feel very comfy
They inspected my rear brakes which were grinding and called me within an hour to tell me the problem. Then they ordered the parts and had it fixed by mid afternoon. I picked up my vehicle after work. I was so happy that I did not have to go without a vehicle for the weekend.
"Had work done on the car, they said it would be done the next day. I had to call the store the next day just to hear about a new discovered problem on the car. Why wouldn?t you contact me for that? It?s seriously unprofessional, better yet I still had to call them to figure out when the car was ready. I?m only giving 2 stars because the work was done, but the lack of contact is not a good sign. I?m never getting work done at Midas again."
