As a lifetime customer of midas, I felt like I wasn't treated as well as I should have and that has nothing to do with the salesperson at the location I feel like the system should have automatically recognized members and reward them according to their service.

I was told $25 to replace my headlight bulb. At checkout they charged $50. When I questioned it I was told, “Oh sorry, I forgot to mention the $25 in labor too”. So, it cost $50 to get one bulb replaced, which I wouldn’t have gotten done if I knew the real price. But I guess that’s the point isn’t it. What a scam! The man before me was scammed on a tire too. After he left the two employees were talking about him and the pricing loud enough for me to hear. If he hadn’t left I would have told him the conversation I heard. I literally heard them talking about how they charged him more for the tire but he called them out so the guy lowered the price for him but not even to the actual price it should have been. He was “doing him a favor” Coincidentally it’s the same thing he did to me. Same words, same gesture of “lowering the price” as if he was doing me a favor. I still paid $15 more than I should have. What a joke! I hope the $15 was worth it. I paid it but it was the last money you’ll ever get from me.

The gentleman was very friendly. He looked for and applied a coupon to my price for my oil change. I overheard him doing same for other customers to save them money where he could.

Price was really high. No one’s fault really.

If you offer a $25 off a full-synthetic oil change your associate at the desk checking you out, should honor it. Instead he said the oil change was $69.99 plus tax it put me to around $85 (but that information is not on my receipt). So after taking "$25" off my total still ended up at $69.99. How can you offer $69.99 full-synthetic oil changes, off a $25 off coupon for said oil change, and then still charge the original price. Then when I asked the employee if that was with the $25 off coupon he said, "basically."
