I brought my car in to check the spark plugs. The mechanic checked everything over and recommended the best course of action. I drive around my little kids and am safety conscious first, but also budget conscious as a close second. They satisfied both sides of my concerns
I brought my Truck in for an oil change a while back and the tech lost my expensive and discontinued center caps. I called the next day and the manager said they would help me out. The current manager knows this and offered NOTHING for a family with 6 cars! Then he quoted me 3 hours at $175/hr for a 30 min job. I know this because I did it myself in 30 mins, from under the truck. A lift would have made it a 20 min job.My family will never go to Midas again. John is the only GREAT guy over there. He understands customer service is so important today. The new Manager doesnt.
Fast, efficient, great customer service
John was the agent I dealt with at the front desk. Booked in for 2pm. Serviced at 2pm. Had vacated the facility by 2:30pm. John was polite and professional. He communicated all details clearly. Serviced on time, like I was told at 9am that morning.

Availability of parts required for service was disappointing. Although I understand that not every spare part required for standard services can not be stocked constantly, the appointment was made in advance and the specific filters could have been ordered the day before. I requested the tires to be rotated and the technician did not. Air pressures were not set uniformly.
Communication from the front desk was very poor; after an hour of waiting for my oil change I was told ‘it shouldn’t be long’. After nearly and hour and a half I was presented with an estimate for nearly $2000 of work recommended with very little explanation offered. I had to ask many questions in order to learn any details, and once it was clear I could not afford the work at that time the person was brusque, at best. He even went so far as to intimidate me into purchasing a $300 battery with fear tactics about getting stuck alone somewhere with a dead battery. I’m fairly certain that would not have been the case had a man been standing in front of him. This exchange tipped the scale for me.I’ve been using Midas for 10+ years and, while I find their parts markups excessive, I’ve been satisfied with their service. This will be the last time I go there.
The fix everything I need. The only issue I didn’t get solve unas because they didn’t find the part of the vehicle they wanted to change. The staff was very helpful, friendly and clear about what they could and couldn’t do. It was first time visiting and I got happy with the work. I have to say that I am so incredibly impressed by EVERYONE at the Hyannis Midas location. Not only were they nice and accommodating to me, but while waiting for my service to be completed, I observed several interactions the mechanics and other staff had with other clients- walk-ins and people with scheduled appointments. These men went above and beyond, helping each and every person who came in, with the best attitude and a smile. My service was great, they managed to squeeze me in last minute, found the filter needed for my car(I had trouble at other places with that),communication was excellent, and they performed the service in a timely manner. I had my little daughter with me, and they were also very understanding and sweet with her. Couldn't be happier - already recommended them to friends and family.

Austin is one of them who is from North Dakota and I must say he was extremely pleasant and courteous and professional when taking my reservation and when I was being checked in.Brier an excellent trainer, he is calm and patient and I told him so. I went there a month ago to get a service light looked at and was then convinced to get a tune up and spent over $800...not what I was expected to spend but trusted that the mechanics knew best. I then went back after a month because of a tire feeling like it was pulling every now and then since the tune up and then new service lights came on. I was originally told there was a problem with the brakes and I needed an whole new exhaust system that would cost $4600. Seeing that I don't have that kind of money just laying around, I opted to get done what I felt was the safest...the brakes which cost over $1100...someone just told me that was absurd. I just got my car checked and serviced at another station and they were honest, did not try to sell me something that I didn't need, helped me to understand and fixed the exhaust problem for $530...HUGE difference. Another kick in the face is I keep getting Midas coupons for brakes...something that should have been offered and provided to me as I was getting my brakes serviced. Massive disappointment and pretty much disgusted with being taken advantage of all for money instead of trying to be honest and helpful. Again, disgusting!!!

Brake work was completed as described. Tested thoroughly the next day on a trip and brakes were very smooth 2 new tires installed on rear as agreed.
after looking to see what i needed (radiator) troy, the manager told me it could be up to 2/3 days getting the part, which i had not much choice.to my surprise, the part had to come in alot earlier, and i got a call the day after i brought it in (which was late in the afternoon) and Troy told me the car was finished, and i could pick it up! i thought i was going to have to wait at least another day or day and a half, to 2 days.so apparently the part came in earlier, and they worked on my car quickly, which again,was a pleasant surprise, because not having a car on cape cod is tough. so needless to say, i was very pleased with how they made it work and had my car ready the next afternoon.thank youFrank Di Maria
I am an out of state resident and had unanticipated break problems. Despite being a holiday weekend and veery busy the staff at the Hyannis store got me in and fixed my brakes so I could drive home with peace of mind. I needed to have two tires mounted and balanced on my vehicle so I could get an inspection done, they were able to take me right in as the tech that was going to work on my vehicle just finished a job and was waiting for parts for another. John at the counter was very professional and friendly, the tech came out to let me know that I would probably need front brakes done soon, I thanked him and said I would be back for that when it was time. I was in and out of the shop in about a little less than an hour and the price was very fair
The hourly labor seems to be a little high and the markup seems to be quite a bit higher than what you can find at a retail price. There are individuals out there that can't afford it for example myself I'm on disability and I have a very tight budget and I am told that the new owners do not want people to bring in their own parts but sometimes that's the only way a customer can have the job done.
Troy was accommodating from the outset, scheduling car service the same day I called for an appointment. He explained recommendations for battery and filter replacement Although the quoted battery price seemed high and need marginal, I appreciated the suggestion and greatly appreciated the lack of pressure to purchase a new one. Brought the car in for a suspected exhaust leak based on a very high frequency pulsing noise. The diagnosis was that it was a loose pulley. The exhaust system was diagnosed as needing to be replaced but not urgently. We visited while on vacation so chose to have the work done when we returned home. The inspection also revealed a mail in our left rear tire but since it is a low profile tire not compatible with this locations tire machine the manager referred me to a nearby tire shop to make the replacement. We were not charged anything and I am highly grateful for the honesty and integrity of the Midas manager. If we were local they would be our go to for any future work.
Oil change done in a timely manner should not taje over an hour
for 15 minutes work do not charge over $100.00 dollars they always finish the job quicker than book tells them it should. more deals for repeat customers.
I called asking for a same day appointment. They were able to make one for me.Dropped car off at scheduled time, check in was quick and efficient. They did a full test nothing was wrong woth my car then on the way home it shut down I drove back the next day shut down 10 times on the way there then I w a s told the mechanic is an idiot he left oil cap off and put wrong filter in they said his kids on life support.. I was also told haven't you ever mad a mistake and that someone else was at his sisters funeral . This has nothing to do with my car they Saif the fixed it today it complete shut down they have destroyed my vehicle I live paycheck to paycheck I demand my vehicle be fixed I am a single mom I pay alot for my car this is insane I have now missed 3 days of work

I have been a costumer of Midas in Hyannis since 2007. I like the Mr. John personable service. I believe the mechanics / car technician do a very good job with my cars setvices( my own and my sons. I have been part of the oil chance club since 2007.
We had a mystery vibration on the front driver side wheel. Turns out a prior (non-midas) mechanic didn't tighten wheel lugs. Could have been a disaster. Midas found and fixed the problem quickly, courteously and affordable. So happy we didn't get ripped off with the Cape Cod tourist markup. Thank you.

they did a great job with my Acura, I brought my car here to get the tires changed and I was very late for my appointment and they still had me in and outta there in 1 hour and 5minsthe ONLY reason i'm NOT giving 5 stars in because they didn't ask me if I wanted to keep my 2 front tires because those were still in decent shape and I own a AWD vehicle so if I get a flat I can't just buy 1 new tire because the vehicle well not perform correctly and or feel correctly. But other than that they did a great fast job and i'm VERY satisfied and would definitely recommend them to family and friend's, these tires handle so much better than my old tires these are Continental extreme contact tires and oh my god do they handle so very well in the rain and in the snow, it was snowing when I got them installed and let's just say I had absolutely no problems getting home LOL love these tires are the best tires I've ever owned in my life and I'm 36 years old and have owned 8 cars. After reading a number of very positive reviews, I brought my 16 year old truck in for a repair. Parts were delivered to the shop quickly and the repair completed the same day. Staff was very professional and pleasant.

The car was serviced by Midas if Hyannis, MA. They changed oil and filter 19.99 plus tax with coupon. They were correct about my tires as I do have one with 3k miles and the others 30k. They do check everything without hard sell afterwards. I will go back.
