I needed to have my exhaust system evaluated to determine if I wanted to pay for a repair or buy a new car. (My car is old, really old) I went to Midas (referred by Tires Plus). I spoke with the man at the counter, he had a technician look at my car, and then we discussed the problems in detail and potential solutions. I was impressed with his knowledge and ability to communicate technical information to me so that I fully understood what was going on with my car. He was not only highly knowledgeable, but also sympathetic and kind. It was a pleasant experience because I trusted the information I received. Wow. Keep up the good work.

The mechanic did great but the guy i talked to did not. He talked down to me ,even called me and said nothing was wrong with my car that the sound was a performance intake i had installed like a year back. I feel like he tried to cut corners. I told him it needed test drove by the mechanic. And this information was not communicated! So i had to walk back to the shop about a mile each way, and tell the mechanic. As the mechanic was test driving it the guy said it was the intake wasn't it? Like seriously? No it wasn't im not stupid! It ended up being a Wheel bearing. Honestly this probly is going to keep me from ever coming back ! That job was over $400 . I only tried midas because it was the closest convenient shop. That guy will cost you money!

This was my first time bringing in my vehicle to this location, but it was so easy to make an appt and the communication and customer service was great. I brought my car in for an oil change and during that I got a call to get a hole in my tire fixed which I was fine with but for the price and overall experience I will definitely return.

We were passing through Hagerstown, MD when we experienced a major issue with our truck while towing a travel trailer. We arrived at Midas when they opened on a Saturday morning. They didn't hesitate. They got us right in and fixed a major issue with our brakes. They had to replace a frozen brake caliper as well as pads and rotors. A big job that they handled without an appointment. Although it delayed our travels a bit we were able to get back on the road feeling confident that our truck is safe. Great job guys!

When they made my appointment over the phone they misunderstood the problem with my vehicle. They had "abs light on" when I clearly explained it was my "airbag" light that was coming on and off randomly. This made me explain again what was wrong with my vehicle when it should have been taken down clearly In the first place.

I brought my vehicle to have an alternator installed. When I picked up my car, my dash still said “charging system failed”. My husband looked under the hood and discovered that the wires for the alternator were not connected. He had to finish the job that I paid $970 to have done. This was unacceptable. I returned to discuss it with the person at the desk, who I assumed was the manager. He apologized but only offered me a free oil change. I declined, because I already get free oil changes from the dealer. He checked my car over to make sure the connections were tight, but I left not happy with the service and will not return.

Lower the prices or at least communicate that “the brakes” doesn’t mean ALL the breaks, it means just “the front brakes”. When I was told “the breaks” were $540, that was an expensive, but understandable amount for ALL FOUR, not just the front two especially when that wasn’t communicated until AFTER they were done.

Had a emergency brake problem late in the afternoon on return trip north from Florida and needed to have it checked out. It was around 5:30 pm so we stopped at Midas and got a appointment for the next morning at 7:30...they analyzed the brakes and told me what I needed and performed the repair and we we're back on the road at 11:30am...
I was 5 minutes late to my appointment but the gentleman was still very nice and got my vehicle in right away. My wait time was really short. Everyone was very communicative throughout the whole process.

Just recently I got an oil change and asked to have my driver door lubricated cause it was making a noise when I opened and closed and to put 40 in my tires air pressure and neither one of those two got done.
I took in a set of struts that needed new shocks installed. Chris went above and beyond as the shocks were not coming out easy. Great job as always.
