I had to keep calling to finally get a receipt for the service that was performed. There initially was a problem with the printer or computer where I was not able to get the receipt on the same day, but I was promised it would be emailed to me which it was not. I had to keep calling until finally the person who was working on Friday the 15th, 2024 text me a copy to my cellphone. My appointment was on Wednesday the 13th of March 2024. Also, I had a coupon which stated that the brakes would be checked along with the hoses and belts which were no done. I think I will just take my vehicle back to where I'm used to getting all those things checked and a printout showing they were done.
The car was in the bay for 20 minutes for a weld. You charged me $240. That’s too much for 20 minutes
I arrived late on a Saturday, 45 minutes before closing. The staff welcomed me, got my car in immediately, let me know my battery had gone South, and had one to replace it. I was so relieved to have my car operable.

My oil change: 11/12/22-$76.22, then 4/3/23-$68.36, and then 7/13/23-$98.73. I'm charged double for labor. Midas fees are inconsistent and randomly charge double for labor. Adam said due to inflation, cost for parts has gone up, however, including the increase cost for parts, he charges me 3 times more for labor. Adam stated that the owner of the shop sometimes doesn't even honor their own promotional coupons. This shop seems to run their business like bunch of crooks -- shady, cheesy, and unprofessional. Definitely not shop that I would recommend to people.
In the past, when having Midas do an oil change, I also received a checklist of items they had checked and the results. I didn't realize until I was home that there was no checklist. If you have discontinued this list, i am greatly disappointed. I am hoping this was just an oversight by the staff. I found the list to be very helpful and it encouraged me to use Midas more - not less. If you have discontinued this communication to customers, please from it back. If not, please coach the associates at the Wheaton MD location to ensure they include this list in future

I came in for an oil change and wiper blades; both were done expediently. Leaking rear shocks were noticed when the car was lifted, and I was told of this. I asked for them to be replaced, and all of the cars maintenance plus two new shocks were done in two hours.

2nd time for an oil change with Midas. Last time was told I should have tires rotated with next oil change. I asked for a rotation. I was told that it wasn't needed, but I am not clear why that was. So I am left with wondering why my tires were not rotated and why that was. On the other hand, I greatly appreciate a company that will not charge me for work that is not needed. A better explanation would have been helpful.The other thing that was annoying for a person waiting: no table in the waiting area. The waiting area is very sparse (moreso than last year). It is clean but just not comfortable. I was disappointed not to find a coupon for my oil change (looked for some time) Perhaps it is the general disruption economy that has led you to stop coupons? I will go back to Midas. I'm just disappointed that is it not what I have come to expect from the firm.
My issue is that one of my battery terminal bolts was missing after service. I didn't see this until I got home.
It was a straightforward process, easy to get to. They checked my tires and brakes and thought they didn't need any work. I was thinking they might try to sell tires but mine are still probably ok for a couple years and they agreed.
