I was told by another garage that I had blown head gaskets and they wanted to charge me $4200 to fix the heads. I brought it into Jason and he said he would do some diagnostics. He did a block test and determined that the heads were OK and the problem was a stuck thermostat. It’s nice to know that this Midas shop got to the root of the problem and was honest about what it really needed and fixed it for just $300.Jason demonstrated his integrity and the integrity of this Midas location to sell me just what I needed and not take advantage of me by confirming the other shops incorrect diagnosis. He is number one on my list of mechanics, as well as restoring my faith in humanity!

The crew members were very nice. They listened to my concerns and took me seriously, and was able to fix the problem I was having with a shaky steering wheel when braking. The appointment was for the oil change and I had asked them to also check out my rotors, and they did so gladly, even if it might have put them a little behind. (In retrospect, I will make sure to include all concerns in future appointments)

Really great customer service in helping me order the tires I wanted and getting me exactly what I wanted out of the tires I did by and when I came back once the tires were in and ready to be installed he even remembered my name which impressed me as how many people remember you when you are there once a year typically. I also received a follow up text after my tires were installed to see if I was happy with my tires which I appreciated that as well.

Stopped at Midas in Bangor, Me. on Tuesday. Order tire for my Silverado. Also made appointment for Thursday same week to have installed. When in for appointment and waiting for tire install. Also ask if they could do front rotors & pad. They stated would be problem. Job was completed in timely matter. Thanks for service work and timeliness.
Work was done well. Additional work suggested, while some additional work became part of the job, such as prepping my rusty rims for the new tires. CV joint replacement and front brake replacement, although not necessary at the time, was suggested and I decided to go with it since it was an overall fair price.
