I have been a customer at this location for about 15 yrs and never had an experience like this. Manager was rude and told me I wasn’t getting any money back even though the associate at the desk offered to credit the difference. I have also sent an email to the Bangor branch for the regional mgr, but haven’t heard a response yet.

Techs are always easy to deal with and explain any issues thoroughly.

This Midas has a staff that truly cares and helps with priority decisions. I am a volunteer driver and have a 2011 Ford Escape which I bought wholesale. They have been wonderful in the process of getting this vehicle back in shape. I cannot say enough good things about the Ellsworth Midas team.

I thought I needed wiper blades. They told me one had ice built up in it. They could have sold me new ones but didn't. I appreciate that.

Everyone there was so friendly and explained in detail what was happening. I never felt talked down to. I waited in the waiting room with a baby the whole day but it was a good experience.

Excellent phone skills no matter who they are talking too, very friendly, professional and down to earth. Very accommodating with scheduling, answer any questions, good listeners and explain things very well. So far, I feel they can be trusted.I did try to schedule an appointment using the online tool but no one ever called me back to confirm or to make adjustments with the day and time I requested. I had to call by phone to schedule.

Dropped my car off at 1pm for a tire change. I didn’t get my car back until they were closing at 5pm. This is the second time that they have taken way longer than predicted…

Convenient. Able to easily schedule an appointment that worked for me. All staff very polite, professional and kind. Good communication. Informed me of all findings and any concerns and maintenance work that would need to be done soon.

I was there for an inspection, but they didn’t install the front license plate even though I asked them to. The tire pressure sensors indicate low tire pressure, but the technician did not inflate the tires.

I have a 2004 Honda CRV with abut 312,800 miles on it. I have been taking it to Midas for the last 13 plus years rather than to the Honda dealership. I've had the guys at Midas say that they're going to keep it on the road until it hits 400,000 miles. And they're constantly finding the most effective way for the least possible expense. I feel dealerships are over-priced and are more interested in selling me cars than keeping one on the road. They would not, in my view, have been as helpful, honest, or as professional as the Midas guys. My car has been on the road for 18 years and will go even further. I estimate that, buying a car every 4 or 5 years would have cost me at least $120,000 to $180,00 dollars, counting purchase price and interest on the debt. My CRV cost me $23,000 in 2004 and about $15,000 dollars in repair and maintenance. I credit Midas for saving me maybe $100,000.
