I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. Once home, I realized my toes were never rotated. My rear driver's rear tire had yellow paint on it which matches the fender. My passenger side rear tire had white paint on it which matches the fender. After looking at my tires when I got home, they are still in the same location and were never rotated.

I really like the customer service that Allen provides over the phone and in person. I never interact with the techs so I wouldn’t know their personalities but I’m very satisfied with my oil changes and the communication afterwards in person by Allen and online.
It was so easy to schedule on the phone with David, and staff are always willing to explain exactly what they did.
The work took longer than I would like
They could perform my brake repairs the day after I called for appointment. They were very clear about the repairs, and an excellent communicator of information. The gentleman at the front desk was especially good with his knowledge and friendliness.
He explained to me how much the oil change would be, what versions of oil there were, and after the service, informed me that I needed new tires because my tires are currently dry rotting.

I scheduled an appointment online the website said that I would get a confirmation call within an hour didn’t receive so I called back close to 2 hours later. They were able to confirm. They replaced lugnuts (15$ a piece plus 60$ in labor, 35 $ store fee) I arranged for ride services which added to the cost of the repair just to find out that my car was done but I had to call to find out that it was complete. I got to the store and waited for an employee to finish looking on his phone and talking with another employee about what he was looking at his phone. There was never eye contact, any urgency to complete payment, or customer service. I felt like my time, money, and overall interaction with Midas was completely disrespected. As someone that works in customer service I was shocked by the experience. Won’t be returning

I was there for oil change. Took the over 2 hours. And they said don't know about benz engine . So can't reset the oil program . I have new 2022 glc 300 . Benz. . They need to learn about that..

I came in having thought I had made an appointment, but I hadn't. The staff communicated that looking at my vehicle may not happen that weekend, which was fine with me, but they were able to squeeze it in by the end of the day. I did not expect that. When I phoned, my call was promptly answered and I was provided helpful information regarding a promotion. They scheduled my service for the next day and had me out in 30 minutes, and I received a great deal.
I dropped off my vehicle and was called with a $660 quote. I gave the okay to proceed. Seemed high, so I called another place and was quoted just under $300 but work was already started when I called Midas back so there was nothing I could do. I feel I was price gouged on the work performed. Same Walker parts online were $200 and I was charged over $400.
I wasn’t given the details of the wrk that needed to be done prior to the start of the service, so when my vehicle was done I didn’t even know the work had began. I then was made aware of $900+ of issues that were found while serving of my vehicle. After being brought almost to tears, my service was discounted for the poor communication. After leaving, my car had the same issue that brought me in. I called the nxt day as business hrs were over by that point and without telling the mechanic my name or ID my vehicle he told me my tires were bad. No one the day before had told me that there was an issue with my tires. After checking him on this, he asked to place me on hold and got a mngr, who came to the phone and immediately offered a refund of the without offering to correct the issue. I went back up to Midas and the cash for my refund was all laid out. I was very disappointed with this entire experience as this particular Midas on 28th street in GR, MI was highly recommended to me and turned the joyous day of buying a new (tome) car into one of the worst mechanic experiences I’ve had. I will not be back and the way the supervisor spoke to and treated me, I don’t think they care.

Basically, all you did was read the code and test drive it. I get a call and they recommend changing plugs and wires for $727 plus the cost of diagnosis $167 for a total of $894. That's ridiculous. I had to complain about the diagnostics charge because I was quoted $150. It wasn't until I complained, did they bring the price back down to the original quote. The problem was a #3 cyl misfire several times. No one bothered to offer replacing the #3 plug and wire as a solution, which will probably fix it, because there's no money in that. Unfortunately for you, as a retired mechanic, I can do that myself.
This was a great experience! I didn't have an appointment, but was able to drop my van off to be serviced the next day. My van was repaired and ready to go within hours, even without an appointment! I really do appreciate that. And I really enjoy my interactions with Alan, the customer service guy at the desk.Very good job overall!

I was satisfied in regards to their integrity. I appreciate that. They didn’t recommend services that would not be necessary.The main (and only) issue that stopped me from giving all 10’s or “highly satisfied” was when I got the quote for a new suspension, I was told they would charge more for the labor if I provided the parts. It does not and should not affect the technicians labor hours to install the exact same parts as what you would be purchasing yourself. I don’t mind if you make profit off the labor, but the labor should be a fixed rate when the same parts are being installed. It should honestly be illegal to charge otherwise. I can also testify that many other repair shops allow you to do this.

Had an appointment, but still waited an hour. Looked at my car while it was in the bay, no one was working on it. Came in for a brake inspection. Was quoted a price for rear brakes being bad, and the rear tires were never taken off the car.

I had all four brakes and pads replaced for around $1000. They squeaked so badly I brought it back. They replaced some pads. 3 days later it's squeaking again. By my third or fourth appointment I had a higher end slotted and drilled rotor put I'm the front, and ceramic pads, for an additional almost $400. This particular location (28th st Grand Rapids MI) seems to consistently hire considerate and highly knowledgeable staff. I always enjoy learning something new from them and I'm on a first name basis. They will always have my business. I used to come in with a car that was over 20 years old and they didn't treat me any different than when I came in with a 2008 car. They don't talk down to you even if you're not a car person. Alan is great at working with people but he also knows his stuff. It seems like he is a good manager too, because I don't see a whole lot of turn around. It's fun to come in and see familiar staff, and know they like working there.
The check-in was great and the techs are fast, effective, and kind. As a woman, I appreciate that the staff is never condescending nor do they take advantage of the things I don't know.
