Very fast service and friendly staff. I was given a detailed explanation of services and provided with documentation.
Said come at 1:30 and at 1:30 they took the car. Everyone was polite, direct, and efficient. Problem was minor. I followed their instruction and the problem was gone within a couple hours of their advising to let a little use master a minor corrosive condition. No charge. I shall return.

I have been to the same Midas for many years and I always have them do my oil changes. I wasn’t able to get it in on the weekend I was home from college and so I had it done while I was down state. I get synthetic oil so I’m used to it being a little bit more expensive but I know a ball park on much it is. While I was waiting for my car to be done in the waiting area the owner of shops comes out and says I need a new air filter and I just agreed to it cause it’s not that big of a deal then a few minutes later the owner comes out again and says that all four of my tires are dry rotted and I need to replace them all. This could not be further from the truth my tires are only four years old, the tread is completely intact, and they are not leaking air at all. When I told the man this and that I would not be replacing my tires he tired to convince/ scare me by saying that me tires could burst at any minute. I didn’t get the tires still but I still had it double checked when I went home the following weekend by the people at the Midas back home that I normally see and they said that my tires are fine and that guy was wrong.

Very knowledgeable and honest staff
After I left, my tires' low pressure light came on because they did not reset it in the shop. Also, I had an oil puddle the following morning in our garage. It wasn't leaking, they just didn't wipe off the excess or whatever, so that was a little annoying. but the service was fast, friendly, and reasonably priced.

I bought tires from tirebuyer.com and paid them for installation. They scheduled the installation appointment at the Okemos Midas. When checking out at the Okemos Midas they charged me an additional installation fee (thus stealing money from me). They (Mark at Midas) told tirebuyer that they were going to refund the money to me, but after nearly a month I still have not been refunded.

I was billed directly for an expensive total labor cost, but there was not explaination to me how many labor hours would take for the repair. Given the labor cost of over $200$, I thought the labor hours should have taken 2 hours, but apparently the mechanic did it in 20 minutes after the hose were delivered.

I got my brakes completed in January 2022. I had to take my car back in August 2022 because of weird noises with the new brakes and there was an extreme amount of brake dust on my front wheels. I was told everything was normal. November 2022 my brakes went out while I was on the highway going over 75 MPH. There was no responsibility taken from the associates. I still paid 1300 to fix whatever the problem was that I was told was normal.
Had an appointment and they got the car in on time and serviced quickly. Had low tire pressure warning 2 miles before I got there and they took care of it and made sure the warnings light was reset.

I was told I needed a complete exhaust replacement from catalytic converters back at a cost of 3700.00 after replacing the muffler back in 3/22 5 months earlier. Then solved 1 problem by welding sleeves but missed altogether on accident or on purpose the 18" of rusted pipe right next to the sleeves adding muffler putty instead of cutting out the bad pipe & replacing it. I only found out the scope of what was done after going to a competitor showing me that I didn't need an entire exhaust only a small section of pipe. Won't be back ! EVER !

Listened to my request, shared what could be done, and then did exactly what I thought should be done. The front brakes had been serviced much earlier but instead of indicating both front and rear brakes should be replaced they said the front brakes looked fine but the rear brakes needed attention. I brought my car in for an oil change and the the Midas Okemos team kindly let me know of other serious safety problems my car had. The team took me back to the bay where my car was and *showed* me where the problems were so I knew they weren't lying to me (as often happens to women at car repair shops). The gentleman at the counter provided me with my options and explained what needed to be fixed now and what could wait. They were also very patient that I had to stay with my car and kind to me while I waited. Additionally, the Midas in Okemos was having equipment difficulties, but the staff still helped me and were kind despite the added stress. They were great!
