Unlike other places that have messed up my vehicle Midias fully fixed all my problems and fixed other problems caused by other places so I recommend them and only them
Brian and the rest of the staff were a joy to work with. My car's exhaust had been getting progressively louder over the last several months, but I'd been ignoring it. By just driving it to the lift, Brian was able to tell something was wrong with it and had the issue correctly diagnosed within a half hour. I was just in for headlight replacement, but thanks to his insight, I was able to get exhaust issue fixed at the same time. He was even able to connect with a similar issue he had in his personal life to help highlight the importance of the repair. While I obviously wish everything was cheaper, I'm thoroughly impressed with the knowledge and kindness shown by the staff at this shop.

The tire package pricing was confusing.
If you schedule an oil change for a certain time double check that you have an employee scheduled for that time. If you make an error, own up to it without throwing your employee that showed up for their scheduled shift on time under the bus. If a customer asks about the duration of time, be transparent about your services and the mistake you made

Same day appointment for tire installation. Other places in town didn’t have my size in stock and would be waiting over a week. Chris got me in within 2 hours
Was told I need to stop in for a quote with my vehicle. Drove to shop, checked in for quote , answered a bunch of questions then was told there is a fee for repair quote that would credit towards repair of job was completed by Midas. I felt manipulated & left without any further commitment.

Just took a long time for an oil change
They helped me with my exhaust problem that needed repair. They showed me how I could finance it to get it paid for. They showed me all the areas that was wrong with my exhaust and what needed to be done to fix it.
I didn't have to wait long. They drove my car down the road twice. Which I liked. I didn't have to pay for anything.

The mechanic that worked on my vehicle was incredibly kind and helpful.
sales associate was very clear re my options and the upside/downside of each one. did NOT treat me like a stupid old lady. Having owned a 1972 chevy vega (the one with the aluminum engine), I know quite a bit about cars. Not a lot, but enough to smell a snow job when I hear one. NOT the case here.

The person who checked in our vehicle was poor at communicating, never made much eye contact and seemed unconcerned about my time constraints except to say that we could reschedule. We got to the dealership about 20 minutes early and he told us that it would take about 2 hours for the oil change and tire rotation. I don't know of any where I have had that work done where it took that much time. I have been to other Midas shops and the same work took less than half that time.
Easy online scheduling. Good communication from the manager at the location. Prompt with repair. It turned out to be a minor issue and they did not try to sell me more of a repair than was needed - much appreciated! Customer service was top notch.

If you want a customer to return in the future they should be treated well. I also asked for a quote on a Corvette from the cat on back and he said he couldn’t do that without the vehicle being there. Is he incompetent. He couldn’t even do that. $33 just to look at something is ridiculous and then a charge just to tach up the pipes that you put on. No matter how many years it has been doesn’t settle well with me. I’ll be going to the place that helped me out for $10 when I need any other Exaust work done for sure.

I had a tire that was very near the end of its life. I called and they were able to fit me in on a Saturday to get it done quickly. Last time I needed something done quickly I went to Monro which was slightly closer and it was a disaster to it was refreshing just to have them fit me in and complete the job correctly.

You quoted me at $1000.00 for two calipers, pads and rotors for the front. I then paid your $60 inspection fee and took my car to a place where I paid $602.00. A little over half of what you quoted me. There should be a law preventing people like you

Ken and the mechanics were great! I dropped in with no appointment because my mom's blower for AC and heat stopped working. I thought it may be a fuse, but after they pulled the squirrel house out from under the hood, I was honestly amazed the car didn't start on fire prior to the visit. Ultra professional. You will get a ton of bang for your buck with me - I love great service, and when I receive it, I tell everyone I know, and I know a ton of people - moreover, they trust my opinion. The associate was very friendly.. however, I went there thinking my only change would only be $49 based on advertisement and it ended up being almost $100. I was told that's the only oil change my vehicle takes. I left other oil change companies because i was looking to get a change at a place for a lower price. I do appreciate the free rotation but for the price, other places have quicker oil changes and check and replace other fluids, much more than midas. The only way I'll be going back is if i get good coupons. Otherwise I'll go back to one of the other oil change facilities I used to go to.

Was to have an inspection done. Was told the engine light was on but they didn’t run it to tell me what it was for. Supposed to check fluids which they might have done but they didn’t fill any low fluids. Seemed like they just breezed through the checklist without being very thorough.

I had my catalytic converter stolen. Other shops wanted to charge me over $1000 to replace it and wouldn't be done until the weekend. I was in and out with less than $800 and was done Thursday afternoon just as they said.
Appreciated fitting me in for brakes on a Saturday afternoon.
Dishonesty and scam artists
Called on Friday for allignment @59.99, arrived Tue for the appointment was then told it was now $99.99 because they now had a new computer which had the price increase. Service manger tried to sell me on unnecessary parts stating I had cracked bushings that needed replacement. I will take pictures of the bushings proving this was a scam. He tried to scam me for a $671 repair bill. I told him to do nothing to the car and was charge $40 for inspection and $4 shop charge. Total scam.
When went in to get my oil change, I told them I could drop off my truck and he said no problem and gave me my price and how long it would take to get it done and would call me when it was all done

A big part of it for me is the location because I live close enough to walk home if the work takes awhile. But I did indeed like the price and the service. The manager, Ken, is always very friendly and informative about whatever is going on with my vehicle.
The markup on pads and rotors is outrageous. It was more than twice the retail cost. There was an additional charge of $35 for undisclosed shop supplies. Explained to service manager that the overall cost was not appropriate and that other garages in the area were charging $375-$400 for the same service. I don't understand why Midas cannot be competitive with other garages and I don't understand why the costs of parts is so high. I did not feel that I was treated fairly. Brought concerns to service manager. He was sorry that I felt that way. Paid the price is full and notified him that I would never return again. Midas lost a long time customer.
