I went in for an oil change about a month ago. I asked if they were able to check the steering as well, as that was on the Fritz. After fixing that for about three days and replacing the power steering pump I had to drive up to Saint Louis for an appointment and when I got back oil was leaking out. Went in and they said that nothing was wrong with the oil filter that had been put into the car. The power steering completely faults out on me and I just recently put it back in there, they informed me of an oil gasket that is bad, something I had suspected before, and that needs to be fixed for $800 or so and the power steering pump went bad again. This was “resolved” and when I picked up my vehicle when they said that it was done and ready, and ready to be driven on the road, I tried to drive it home. I made it about a mile down the road and the car will not shift gears. I went in for an oil change a while ago just for the car break down, while in the shop, to the point of not being able to shift.

They always take care of me and let me know f there is anything that needs to be done.m

I needed some advice on my very old car and when they immediately saw that my undercarriage was complete rust they saved me money by skipping the requested inspection because they knew it would fail. I also got advice on things I can do with the car and were able to fix my headlights enough so I don't get pulled over while I wait to get a different car. I'll be coming back when I get a different car to get it inspected for sure!

I had an appointment for 1:45 - it was 2:30 before my vehicle was even taken to the bay. I understand that delays can happen, but we were waiting in the lobby and no one even acknowledged that the delay was going to be so long.

Full synthetic with a tire rotation was much more reasonable than expected. They got it done in 25min!

I printed a coupon directly from the Midas website for the location I went for the service. The coupon was for an oil change and tire rotation for 24.99 that didn't expire until 5/1/22. When I presented the coupon at the store I was told it couldn't be honored because the price of oil had gone up. They said it was a corporate problem, not theirs that the coupon was up on the website. I was charged 39.00 for the service. The service writer had zero customer service skills and offered no apologies or remedies to the situation. Just "it is what it is" attitude. I've been bringing my Jeep here for years, but I don't like the way this was handled at the store. I also wrote to Midas in a separate email about the situation, maybe that's why this survey arrived. I understand that prices my have to go up, but if that's the case take down the coupons if they cannot be honored for the discount.
