Tire light kept coming on. Rep without looking at tires said I needed 4 new tires. Quoted 1700 dollars. Went to different place said tires in yellow zone and one tire could replace plug that was leaking. Opted to replace all 4 tires same brand for 1000 there. I don’t appreciate being ripped off since a customer of Midas for years.

There was nothing to complain about. Service, price and the amount of time the job took were all on point.
Not satisfied with the time that I had to wait. They told me that it was going to take about one and a half hour and it took double that.
I went in for my usual oil change and a low tire. The representative took the time to come out to my car and show me the damage of my tires and explained why I needed new ones. We then went inside to check on price and availability. He could get the tires in the next day. I scheduled an appointment, and it took about 2.5 hours. I told them no rush as I was not staying and would be back before they closed. All prices were explained to me prior to the appointment. No unusual charges were then brought up at the end. I was very satisfied with my service.
Drop of the car on Friday, no one called for the quote, I called, they said they will call that day or Saturday, no one called, i called Saturday PM, they said it’s done, the charge me for diagnostic test, which i did not authorized, but the ac condenser was not repaired and no one called for quote, the car was there for 2 days, nothing was done, they said bring it back on Monday, drop off 7:30am no one called, went there myself at 4:45PM, they said they can not finish because the connector for the tank to charge the ac was lost, why did you not call me, they said to come back for a freon recharge, but don’t know when will the connector will arrive. i gave up and brought it to a better auto shop. P.S. I’ve been a customer there since 2008, never happen to me just recently when they change their staffs

I was traveling from Central NY when I realized that I needed an oil change. I called and they were able to accommodate me immediately as I had a 3:00 pm appt. to make. I went to your location for issue with brakes. I was quoted a price of 2,700 for what seemed basic brake maintenance. When told Midas not interested in getting it fix for that a manager called me back and 1,800 (same service), when I still refused he asked what do I need it to be? I took car to another place and was fixed for 800. Understanding that work might be somewhat different how did your guys go from 2700 to 1800 to what do you need it to be? Fair price for the work I recieved
Tooling fee surprised me. I was very sure that I was paying 94 for oil change. Later I was told that my rear brake weee 80% gone, I decide to replace the brake pads. I was told it will cost 350 but later I was told there is $40 tooling fee which is pretty common these days. With additional $ 40 Midas will not be my first choice going forward. With all the specials I can get the job done at a BMW dealership for a little more and I would have a loaner car. The synthetic oil & filter were also not in stock and it took longer than expected to finish the job.
No inspection of vehicle done. No sheet was discussed by service advisor

I'm extremely unhappy how there was zero mention of the "Labor Fee" that would also be included in my overall fee. From the coupon I used, to the associate who helped me, to absolutely no information that such fee would apply to mine or any other service provided by Midas. The workers already get payed to show up & do there job, there shouldn't be a fee on the backs of customers for Midas to profit more & not give raises to there employees while trying to justify a "Labor Fee" on the consumers back. That's a dirty & cheap trick that I will not fall for again.

Gordan and his staff were very responsive to my problem. I had experienced a nail puncture in the left rear tire of my 2022 Accord Hybrid and arrived at the Midas store unannounced. Gordan quickly and professionally processed me in and assigned my car to a technician, who immediately addressed the problem. Shortly thereafter, Gordan advised that most other dealers would have told me to purchase a new tire. He, however, advised that they were able to repair the tire and assured me the repair would be safe and would last the normal life of the tire. On the same day, my daughter had a similar problem with her car, brought it to Midas at my urging, and received the almost identical professional service. We are both highly satisfied with Gordan and his colleagues at the Westfield, NJ Midas store.
I heard a rotating/grinding sound coming from the rear of my car. The mechanic listened and immediately inspected my rear brakes. The right rear brake needed a new rotor, caliper, pads and hose. They did a wonderful job repairing my brake issue.

Get rid of bs "FEES". Shop fee $62 what is this nonsense ? Labor , parts and taxes should be the only charges. At the last minute I was surprised with a $62 shop; this is nonsense . I was told my repair would be $708; I told them to go ago with it. When I went to pay I was hit with the $62 shop fee . My car was driving perfect. I went in for a routine oil change and was told anti freeze leaked into my oil, my motor was about to die, and quoted me a $8000 motor replacement if i wasn't going to buy another car. Their diagnosis had me extremely worried, even to drive my car back home! I got a 2nd opinion elsewhere who told me there was no antifreeze in my oil, my car was not about to die and I did not have to pay thousands for a new motor or buy a new car. I will never be back nor will I recommend Midas in Westfield, nj or anywhere else to anyone else.
Took a long time to get my fleet vehicle approved to get service done, nearly double the amount of waiting time. It was not clearly explained why the process takes so long.
People were nice, waiting room and bathroom were clean. The manager was happy to turn off the TV and just play music while I waited. I felt they were thorough in checking and maintaining the car.

My complaint is with cost of parts. I was billed $79.99 for a part that I can buy for $17.44 on-line (same mfr. and part #) and about $ 35.00 over the counter.
