I called in an appointment in the early AM and got a 2:00 pm appointment for scheduled maintenance for a front end alignment. I dropped of my car at 1:50 pm. I was told that there was another car on the machine and it would be 30-40 minutes before my car would be taken care of. They would call me when ready. I waited until 4:00 pm and called the store. I was told that they were doing a driving test, then it would be on the machine. I called back at 4:45 pm to see the status and I was told the car was on the machine and they were doing the rear wheels. I was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. At 5:20 pm I was called that my car was ready. It took 3.5 hours to complete a job that should not have lasted just over an hour. What was the good of having an appointment at 2:00 pm and not get my vehicle back 3 and one half hours later?? Last time I did this with my car at the same store it took just over an hour!

I made an appointment for 8:30 am. At 9:30 am I was told that the 7:30 appointment was ahead of me. At 10:00 am I asked about the estimated time of my scheduled alignment. I was told only that there was only 1 machine without a time estimate. I left and scheduled with another service provider.

Went in for an oil change and during the inspection more issues were discovered. The manager explained in detail other repairs that needed immediate attention and what the cost would be for everything. I'm so glad I took my car to Midas because of the excellent service I received; my car runs like a well oiled machine. This will be my go to place from now on for all my mechanical needs.
While I was there, I was charged an extra $10 for things the associate could not explain. I got a Groupon for $17 oil change, but I ended up paying $30 anyway because of this payment that didn't make sense. It was an oil change and they charged me for using more than one bay.. on top of that, they said I needed to get my brakes flushed but I JUST got that done a week prior before visiting.

Able to get the car in for an inspection within 15 minutes of a “walk-in” inspection. They allowed me to also look under the car while it lifted so I could inspect it.
Double check information before completing oil change. I had to return to Midas on Monday my car started smoking. It turn out the paperwork written at front desk show my car was a two wheel drive so less oil was used. So my car was a quart low causing it to smoking. I was parked when i noticed it smoking. Not too happy! Never smoked after previous oil change.
Everything went smooth, I was worried about using my Groupon because of other reviews I read, but everything was perfect. Sounded like it was a new manager there and he’s on it.

The work done on my vehicles was done quickly, efficiently, and professionally. The prices have been fair every time. The reason for the work was explained in lamen's terms.
I went in for brakes and oil change for a scheduled appointment. Waited 2 hours and was given a $7500 estimate. Absolutely outrageous. I was given the highest estimate possible. I will never go into a Midas again and will make sure to tell my friends and clients about this experience.

I felt comfortable there and I felt like the men that worked there were honest.
The oil change took a while because the technician had to multitask with office work. Also I tried to schedule online but it was never confirmed and I had to reschedule by phone for the next day. Corporate issues this was not the fault of the emplyees.

First off, be more transparent in your pricing. If there is a shop fee blast it and don't bury it in the fine print. Better yet, price it in.Second, I have taken my vehicle to this shop for oil changes for multiple years now. It take 5.5 quarts of oil, so I always get charged for a full quart. At some point you should give me a few oil changes with no extra quart charge since I have paid for a .5 quart I have not needed for at least 10 oil changes. Should be pretty easy to see this in a vehicles service history.

If you are going to offer a deal on Groupon, the least that you can do is put the additional charge in writing in the small print. Such a charge was not even mentioned in the Groupon add. If I had known about it, I would have just gone to Wal-Mart to get the oil change done and I would not have bought a second Groupon for my other vehicle. This is false advertising!
