Do not touch someone’s tire pressure without asking!! I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed! Also 111$ for an oil change on a 2015 honda civic is outrageous!!! I wish I was told the cost before it was completed!!! Due to my appearance, I highly suspect it was due to discrimination, unless Midas actually charging $111 for every single oil change!!!

Here it is again if you wanted to use it I would just like to let everyone know about the amazing service I received at Midas this weekend. Long story short - 3 hours from home, blew out my tire…Midas didn’t have the exact tire I needed. Irene at Midas drove to another store and got a new tire for me and they squeezed me in and fixed my tire. They were only open Sat from 8-12 but they fixed it and I’m so appreciative! I have had a headlight problem with my vehicle. After paying $258 in Dec, I received an estimate of $1,552 to completely replace the front passenger headlight on my 2016 Tucson. Ed at New Minas Midas fixed it for $48 plus tax. Living on a disability cheque and getting ripped off by my local dealership lead me to Midas for a 2nd opinion. Best decision I ever made!
Ed, Irene, Scott and their mechanics always provide the very best service. I have been using Midas New Minas as my service centre of choice since 2016 and I would never consider going somewhere else.
The customer service was outstanding and I booked this appointment at the last minute, online and was notified in 10 minutes, online that I could get the oil change in an hour. The customer service person was very informative in all matters of mechanics when we were just talking about vehicles during the visit. There were four other people in the waiting room and he took the time to ensure he had communication with all the customers.
The clerk was so friendly. I know they were short staffed, but they still made the effort to explain everything to me - they also did an incredibly good and efficient job. What more could I ask for? :)
The price I paid for what was done to the car, i was very pleased with the price. Considering that I had oil change done and also four tire installed and put on rims. They did such a good job.

Ed has always been extremely helpful, explains things clearly, and keeps me informed of the repair process. We dealt with our third party warranty company, and he was a great help in communicating with that company. He repaired my car the moment the replacement part arrived from the warranty company and even fixed a dead lightbulb asap when I said I’d be on my way to pick up the car.

I called the day before and made the appointment and got in so quickly. I live far away and waiting a week or 2 to get my car in for service is frustrating so I choose Midas. You also have really great technicians on site that know their stuff!
Firstly, knowing I was just getting off a night shift, they rescheduled me to get right in after my shift. While there for an inspection they let me know it would not pass without a tailpipe but I had it with me. Midas welded it on and I was good to go!

Got appointment short notice, service was FAST, people seemed to care about providing service. Competitor couldn’t take me for a week, for a basic evaluation. Midas took me in, found a solution for my specific very tricky problem, and made the repair at a very reasonable rate in the same afternoon appointment.

The experience was good. Ed, the manager is a great conversationalist. We chatted in a humorous, fun way. The only drawback was the price of a simple oil change. I think the price of $110 + taxes is high. I am a veteran living on a small pension but Midas does not give veterans a discount which I think they should. 10 or 15 % would be a good gesture.
They were able to fit me in on a tight time schedule and got done what I needed to perfection, no questions asked.
I dropped in as my brakes had locked up and i had no appointment and they were fully booked. They took a quick look and fit me in and did my brakes. They explained what it would take and cost and got all the parts ready . Amazing job.

I had been having a repeat issue with the rear brakes sticking on. A different garage replaced the rotors but nothing else. The Midas shop found a mechanical fault - a crushed brake fluid hose, and were able to fix it properly.
i made a online appointment and called just to be clear about time and ect, instantly picked up, confirmed my appointment, listened to my price range, only oil change, let me know what else you can do, ( i hit a curb a few days before) this awesome lady calls me lets me know theres a bit more damage than we thought: they had a tire ( used and in good shape ! and a spare rim hanging around ) heck yato make it better, i am almost positive i was late picking my car up, snow storm was coming, the lights were turned off i didnt realize until i had left how kind light hearted they all were just chilling until going home, not angry at me for being late hard to find service like this!!

How come three weeks ago when I brought my civic in it was 82$ to take 8 tires off the rims and install 4. Now I brought my Mazda 3 in and it was 96$ just to put 4 tires on. I no inflation but this is not fair as I’ve been bringing my vehicle strictly to you guys. Either then the price I book app online so very easy. You guys so quick clean work, we’re done in no time and also loved all your Xmas ornaments and your tree. Beautiful shop but way to expensive.

I have been going to Midas for the last 3 or 4 years to have my oil changed. Booking an appointment is very easy on their website, it allows me to choose a time that is convenient for me instead of them telling me a time. I waited while the oil was being changed, in a nice clean waiting area that had Halloween decoration up which my son liked. I think I may have waited about 30 minutes which in my opinion was appropriate, they took it in right after I handed over the keys. The price was a bit higher then the last one however I expected that as is the way with many other things. I will continue to come back.
(Continued), without being notified, crew changed cabin air filter and told me the noise was fixed. The noise was not fixed and I just had that filter changed 3 weeks ago so the old filter which was thrown out cost me $35 and this air filter plus labour, I basically threw away $100.00. I also didn’t even get called when my truck was done. I just happened to come back and it was done.

After calling they gave me a same day appointment along with a free inspection and quote with detailed explaination on a repair. When I decided to proceed with the repair I asked them to check the brakes, they did so at no charge, along with a suspension inspection and filled my tires to the proper level, all done when I asked for and matched the repair quote to the penny. The owners of this Midas location have gone far and beyond to help me with my vehicle since I moved to this province. I brought it to them at first because I had so much trouble finding anyone who understood my 'exotic' suv. Ed immediately reassured me that he knew my vehicle because he owned one too. In fact, he solved a problem I had been having for years with my Infiniti. It had left me stranded, unable to start for an unknown reason. I'd even taken it to the Infiniti dealer and after a full day, they couldn't find the cause. Ed told me to click the door locks off and on when it happened again and it would start. I didn't believe it could be this simple, but when I had to try it for the first time, it worked and has worked every time since. How many tows would that have been I wonder? I've stuck with him and his beautiful wife ever since.
I will never bring my vehicle anywhere else, I have always gotten above and beyond service from this place.
