Made an appoint 5 days in advanced. Arrive 10 minutes early. Didn’t start work for 45 minutes. 4 employees stood around talking shop at counter while 2 guys did all the work. Work was satisfactory. When I arrived home I notice a 12” long vertical scratch above rear wheel well. Assume retractable air hose road up the side of my vehicle.
I made an appointment several days ahead of time for an oil change. They knew what vehicle I was bringing to get an oil change on. I got there 20 minutes early and ended up having to wait over an hour and a half because they didn't have the filter there. This is the second time it's happened. Had I gone to the dealership they would have had a filter there

What was the purpose of appointment if my car wasn't checked for 6 hours?I left my car at 9 according to appointment. Prior to book this I have been told it takes about 2 hours to diagnose but when I called at 12 pm...car still wasn't checked, then at 3pm...car still wasn't check and finally at 5 pm I got a phone call that it's complete.

If the technician working on the vehicle is not as experienced as others, or is seemingly taking a long time to perform services, the shop manager should check with that technician to confirm any issues and to keep the tech on track.

From the gentle and suggestive phone call I had to make a last minute oil change, to then a well informed overlook of my vehicle that aided in getting it properly fixed, ultimately inspected, Ed (gentleman who provided the repair service) and his crew were all wonderful. Genuine appreciation for all of you folks and I recommend anyone who wants true and honest mechanic work/opinion(s) to check them out. I felt like even though the news that I was given about my car was disappointing, he did a great job explaining the problem to me and breaking down the cost. Then when I called my dad to tell him what was going on, Jason (I think!) offered and reexplained it to him as well. Even though the tires were not available. The manager Bob and Jesse were extremely helpful. They found tires that fit my vehicle and still honored the price of the tires I wanted because of my budget. Bob left and physically picket up the tires themself. The issue I had was explained to me and they remained helpful and pleasant during my entire visit. Although I wish I didn’t have to wait almost 2 1/2 hours for the work to be done. They did go above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed and that I was happy with the price I was paying. Both employees I dealt with both Bob and Jesse were phenomenal and you can tell they actually care about the customer rather than making a sale. As long as they are still there when I need my next service I will return.

I do not see why i have to return to Midas after 50 miles. Apparently to torque the wheels. This has never occurred before nor have i experienced this with any other service center. Apparently to torque the wheels as i understand is to see if the wheels are on tight enough. Also i am not sure if the tires were pressured to 34 as requested - it appears not to be.

The technician did not rotate the tires. He and his supervisor, both lied to me that they were rotated and I didn't notice it. I raised a complaint. Next morning, I got a call from the store manager "Bob Marriott". She found from the recording, my complaint to be right. I was called again that day to get the tires rotated. With her instruction, I was a given a free oil change coupon.I don't trust that technician and I am not sure whether rest of the service was performed with honesty.

i have been using midas for the past 20 * years and have been very pleased with their service. I always ask for their technician Ed Decker. He always directs me to the best route to go with any needed repairs. Midas is my only repair shop.

I took my car in to replace a headlight and check the cruise control -- they certainly made a list of things that i should do (they always do) but they did not put in the headlight nor did they add fluids as promised. Upon complaining they stated they would give me 2 free oil changes.
