I was able to get an appointment very quickly for an oil change. My car is a hybrid, plug-in Kia Niro. The survey only gave me an option for an electric or a gas car. It would be helpful to include hybrid plug-ins as an option in the survey.
I came in for an oil change and a tire rotation. They did the oil change but inspected my car, even though I just had my car inspected when I purchased the vehicle in September 2023. When I tried to apply my coupon, they told me they had already given me 20$ off, which made no sense. They DID NOT rotate my tires at all. I want a refund.

Expedience and courteous service
They didn’t rotate my tires. I know this because one of my rims had curb rash. This same rim was on the exact same spot when the vehicle left the bay. I immediately informed the service manager who let the tech know it needed a tire rotation. When they brought the vehicle back in i watched him rotate the tires. Except he didn’t rotate them properly. On the passenger side of the vehicle, he swapped those tires. And on the drivers side he swapped those tires. They didn’t do the cross pattern when rotating the tires. At this point I didn’t say a thing. I usually rotate my own tires and do my own oil changes. I’ll be doing them myself next time so I know they’re done correctly. I will definitely not go back and if this ever comes up in conversation with friends and family, I’ll be sure they’re aware of the corners that are cut at this Midas location. Uneven wear of the tires is money out of my pocket. Very dissatisfied.

I came in last minute, because I was going on vacation and thought I had an exhaust leak. Turns out, another place I had been to recently (not Midas) had done an oil change, but left my cap off. There was oil all over my engine compartment and it was dripping. The guys at Midas were really great with helping me out. I got a second oil change and they de greased my engine and the underside of my car. I called the other place while I waited, and they paid for the procedures. Midas was very helpful, got me in last minute, and did a great job cleaning up. It also didn't take very long , either. The guys were super nice as well. I'm very happy with my experience.

The manager was extremely rude to other people while I was there. My appointment took 2 hours because I needed a new tire. The inspection and tire took 1 hour so I am not sure why it took two hours. They took off my inspection sticker before completing the inspection. I had a 9am appointment, other people that came in after me left before me. I was very unhappy. I kept expressing how unhappy I was and that I needed to go. This made no difference. Very unhappy with my visit.

I explained I needed to be home at 3 to receive a medical delivery. While the clerk told me he would have someone drive me, the car was still unfinished with the new muffler 49 minutes before 3 . They did finish at 2:45 and I raced home by 3:10 to meet the impatient delivery man. It was rather tight.

Did appointment online for inspection and oil change. Reached the location to find that the online appointment had me only down for the oil change. They were able to accommodate the inspection which I appreciate. But after leaving my car at 8AM it was almost 4PM before it was done and they never did the oil change. It was almost closing time when I got my car so didn't feel like arguing with them about it, just wanted to get my car back.
I asked them to check my tire pressure as my tire light was on, and I was told it was not checked by the end of my visit. The only thing done about it is the light was turned off.

The Midas computer system could not find my midas coupon number in it's system for $20 off wheel alignment so your manager had to do it manually. You need to better program coupons into your software.

Employee failed my car for inspection because the tire tread was a tad worn but not even severe. Then said I had to buy his 1,100 dollar tires or else the car would fail. Was trying to get me to buy his tires and wasted 45 mins of my time plus the $21 for the inspection. I said I wasn't going to buy the tires then he threatened to scratch off my inspection sticker and said I'd be driving illegally to again attempt to scare me into buying his overpriced tires. I again declined and left with a failed inspection and luckily he didn't scratch the sticker and now I will need to go somewhere else to get a routine inspection before it expires, and the car will likely pass as there is nothing wrong with it. Will not return to midas, anywhere else would have been better.

The caliper coming detached from the rotor is a huge issue. Furthermore, I was told my front break pads had at least 30k miles on them but when I looked (to repair the caliper) the break pads were bare, and in need of replacement. Very dissatisfied with my visit.
I brought my car in because the brakes were squealing. I paid almost $500 only to get my car back and noticed a short time after the breaks are still squealing. It is the Fourth of July weekend but I will be calling first thing Tuesday morning!

I needed to get a New York State Inspection done quickly on my vehicle, as my mother had become seriously ill and, due to back-and-forth travel, I had forgotten to do it during the month of May. She passed away, and I needed to make the trip to Long Island to be with my family and prepare for the services. Every place I called couldn't do the inspection due to staff shortages and required appointments, etc. but Midas took me right away and did the inspection quickly so I could get on the road without worry. I forget the gentleman's name who helped me but he was very nice and helpful! Thank you so much to the staff at Midas.

I came in to have a tire plugged, and was told it couldn't be plugged because of it being ridden flat. My vehicle was AWD and I was originally told that I needed to replace all (4) tires. The Associate aggressively tried to sell these tires claiming potential permanent damage to the vehicle differential and worst-case-scenarios.
Bay and parking lot had old bolts and screws on ground I was worried I would get a flat tire while my car was in the shop.

I had just got a wheel alignment from this location less than a year ago & they told me I need another one(Is there no warranty). Most other places alignments are good for 2 years. I just paid for lugnuts last yr from this location but surprise when I go in for an inspection the same lugnuts they put on are now "not acceptable" for passing but the same lugnuts passed last year. I explained that to the man at the counter but he didn't care just wanted to over charge me 1k for nonsense. No thanks & I did tell others do not come here expecting honesty. A tie rod cost 23$ @ AutoZone and they wanted to charge me 74.99$ at Midas ... yeah no thanks.. Its sad because I thought these ppl were decent and honest here. They also KEPT my spare tire to my 2012 Honda crosstour last yr which are expensive. What do you get out of keeping others spare tires.
