Only complaint was the price felt a little on the high side. Everything else was perfect. Clear communication, quality workmanship, accommodating staff. I was impressed by the speed of service. I greatly appreciated that my car was in the air with the wheels off within 20 minutes of walking in despite not having an appointment. My car was back on the road within 48 hours, which, given the nature of the work, exceeded my expectations. Overall I was very impressed with the service and will be using Midas again.
I honestly wish I could give more then 5 stars for the experience I had today. I walked in so stressed with 2 little boys and broken mangled windshield wipers from leaving them on at the car wash( my own fault). While passing Midas I figured it was worth it to ask if they can help me. I Embarrassingly told them the story & Tom with no judgement and confidence said give him 10 min and he will take a look.I was so grateful for even this because the dealer wouldn’t even take a look until Tuesday( it was Friday) while waiting Tracy was so so nice, talked/laughed with us & even gave my sons little tires to keep them busy. I felt like I have known them forever and felt so comfortable. Honestly Tom came out with my car FIXED -too soon because we all did not want to leave. I’m from Buffalo NY and my son attends Stony Brook University in Long Island. His car was in need of some major repairs so he went to the local dealer. After the car sat there for two weeks and we received no help or communication from them we had him take the car to Midas in Centereach Long Island. From the very start they communicated and had our best interest at heart. Store owner Tom even went to the dealer to retrieve a part they neglected to give back to us. Store Manager Tracey (who was always pleasant) kept us up to date during the progress until completion. They even drove my son to and from his residence. After my son paid and left, Tracey found his credit card on the ground. She called us immediately and kept it safe until he came back. Dealing with this long distance problem was easier with Tracey and Tom. I highly recommend Midas for everyone’s future auto needs.

I purchased new tires and was told I needed a wheel alignment. I went online to Midas late morning on a Saturday and scheduled an appointment and someone called me back minutes later and told me they could fit me in if I dropped the car off. I was very surprised to be able to get in last minute on a Saturday, but they got me in and told me they were giving me a $40 coupon on top of it. Very pleasantly surprised and appreciative. My first impression was a very good one and I will be back when I need service on my vehicle!

Changed a bunch of front end parts at my mechanics ... Took here for alignment to be told that inner tie rod was bad ... When mechanic was showing it to me the outer one seemed to be the problem but he was set on selling me the inner ... They wanted 1.5 hours to do a .5 hour job ... They then charged me 48$ w/the tax for the 2 minute drive onto lift and 2 minute inspection ... I'm figuring after I denied the service they had to make it up somewhere ... I can see 20, 25 or even 30$ ... That would have been fine and was expected but not the 45$ ... I will never return here!
The parts for the muffler were ordered and came when expected. The staff kept me informed about the situation and delivery of the parts.
The associate Tracy took the time to explain everything that was needed to bring the car up to NY State inspection, was very friendly and patient.
I walked in on a Tuesday to ask about my issue and was given an appointment for the next day. Tracy, at the front desk, was VERY knowledgeable and helpful. Once there for the appointment, I was offered coffee and a comfortable place to sit while I waited. They took my car in right away. A quick assessment was done and the trouble was found. Tracy came to me with photos to show what needed to be done, along with an estimate of the cost and time it would take - approximately 1-2 hours. I decided to continue waiting and it was done in less than an hour. Bets of all - the issue I brought it in for was completely resolved! One of the best car service experiences I’ve had in a while. Will DEFINITELY be back!
I would like a refund. I brought my car there in perfect working condition and now it runs terribly and I still don't have a passed inspection because of something they broke while changing my oil. They sent me off worse than when I came.

All employees were wearing uniforms which looked professional. I set up an appointment to have multiple services done and set a deadline on which I would need my vehicle back whether 1 or all services were finished. All of my services were finished in a nice timely matter so my car was ready when i needed it. As someone who usually works on my car myself, i didnt have the time to do these services myself. when i looked over my car after getting the work done i saw that the work requested was done very professionally and no corners were cut. I will always bring my car to this specific Midas because of the employees that work there, as well as the quality of work that is done. I suggest this specific Midas to anyone I know who needs work done because I know they will also receive the same high quality of work and will deal with the same quality of professionalism i am always treated with.
