Chris and his staff are always friendly and respectful.
Because they got me new tires, told me how bad my alignment was and gave me suggestions on how to avoid it in the future, and on top of it they passed me for my state inspection within a few days of it being due. So, I'm very grateful for all of that. The only thing that was kind of weird was that the guy running the desk was talking about how governments were accepting that aliens existed except for the United States? Other than that everything was good.
I booked a 7:30 am appointment for an oil change and specified I wanted a synthetic-blend for $35 with the coupon promotion offered at location. Despite showing up at 7:30 right upon opening I was there for roughly 3 hours give or take a few minutes. I was also given and charged a full synthetic oil change for $50+ more without being informed by the staff. While there another customer came in for the $35 change and was verbally told it would be $86 because they cannot perform synthetic blend changes in cars newer than 2010. While this may be a location policy it is not always true. I have had synthetic blends in my car by other garages including dealerships who specialized in my model of car. None of this was communicated to me ahead of time and if it was I would not have chosen to have my car serviced as I normally get a synthetic blend in my 2015 vehicle with no issues. Instead, I got to wait 3 hours and spent $50 more than what I asked for without being informed.
Costumer service excellent. Explanation of issue said clearly and with such understanding. I was given recommendations on what to do to prevent from the same issue occurring.

Went in because brakes were grinding. Needed an oil change as well. Was told it would be $89.99 to lube caliper slide pins or brakes will still grind with new pads. I have a screenshot of the Midas ad stating that line was included with service. Was told by 2 workers it was not so I declined. Nearly $400.00 later and my brakes sound terrible . If I could send the screenshot I would . They also tried to sell me many unrelated services after stalking my car-fax.

Throughout the past few years, since I’ve been bringing my cars there, they were very honest with me, very truthful, very polite, and always told me the truth on what I needed. This is an animal shelter vehicle. The left front wheel fell off the car while driving a puppy to the Veterinarian an hour after service. When we told Christopher all of the lugs were loose on the other three wheels, he said they weren’t. Ray came with me to pick up the car, where he witnessed the road gouge from the car riding on the rotor.

This is not my first extremely wonderful experience with this Midas location off route 211 Middletown, New York
My appointment was for 11:30am, car was not serviced until 3pm. Because of the late take in the resetting of the tire pressure was not even looked at. I personally took it to a gas station later on that evening, looked up how to reset tpms and did it myself. Employees were so worried about getting home to watch football they couldn't take 15 extra minutes and complete this job. If they had taken the car in at 11:30 they could've completed all 3 jobs that I had asked for.
Easy to schedule, I asked for the services I wanted and they made a note of it. I didn't wait because the business is nearby the mall. The service personnel were kind and explained the issues clearly. The price seemed fair. Thank you

When I arrived at Midas, they were having computer problems, and could not print a itemized bill or give me a sticker to remind me when my next oil change needs to be made.
David has awesome customer service skills. He was very helpful and got to the root of the problem and solve it.

Took my car in had the main issue resolved, plus a pulsating when braking. but had to pay for brake line they broke at a discount price. I feel this should've been paid by them. after spending 5 hours there, my brakes were in worse shape than before. By the time I left them it was after hours and when I called a few minutes after being on the road no one answered the phone. I left a message saying that I dont feel safe because the brakes were not replaced correctly and no one has yet gotten back to me. I ended up having to get towed 100 miles to my mechanic in NYC because the car was unsafe to drive (without brakes) and I was 100 miles from home with my wife and kids.
Service was excellent. Tech was very helpful and friendly. Tech noticed that my rear rotors were the wrong size and we had no breaks. I recommend that particular Midas to anyone.
