Initially, a little bit of waiting because there was nobody on the reception but otherwise everything OK very friendly manager.

The cost of the repairs was extreme for what it was. Regretting going to Midas because of the elevated pricing. Was desperate and in a time crunch because of needing transportation for work commutes but could barely afford the work that needed to be done. The car works now but suffering financially.

my muffler needed a repair and I'm new to the area, so I made my appointment online and went in the next day I never used Midas riverhead NY before. I was greeted by friendly personal and was told my appointment time was 10 am so I went for a coffee and returned at 10. the associate looked at my car explained in detail the repair and the cost, and I even decided to do an oil change while I was there. by12am I was out the door very pleased with their service. I would definitely recommend this Midas service to others.

This shop has 2 friendly and knowledgable service managers. All diagnosises have been correct and work has been done satisfactorily. I trust them a lot and have brought them new customers. With all that said, prices seem a bit high, but maybe I'm showing my age. I do make it clear that I want to do easy and simple jobs like cabin and engine air filters, and wipers to reduce my expenses.

We were able to drop off the vehicle the night before, and they completefd the repair quickly the next day as promised. The cost was reasonable for the work performed, and I was able to provide payment info over the phone befre pickup, maling the process even faster and simpler. In a nutshell, the system in place made my repair fast, simple and affordable to complete due to the efficiency of a highly completent staff.

associate was rude to people who were walking in and asking for service. Berated customers walking in asking for same day service as early as 8 am in the morning. 2 brand new vehicles just so happen to have the same small part broken on them which made them both fail inspection just seemed odd. Customer Service in the Riverhead location just doesn't exist and is very poor representation of the company. Will definitely never use this location again and it is not because of the odd failures of the inspections but due to the lack of respect that the man working the counter has for customers. I understand the schedule for the day may be full but a simple "sorry, our schedule is full and we can not help" is way better than a customer walking into your location and being told " if i had a penny for everyone that thinks they can walk in at the last minute to get some work done on their car, I'd probably wouldn't have to work" is just rude and uncalled for. the condescending tone is just rude. I sat there and watched him speak to a few customers in that fashion in person and on the phone. Sad representation of the company and i will never bring my fleet of vehicles back here ever.

They seemingly didn’t like that my car was European. I wouldn’t exactly say a VW Golf is extremely exotic. The rocker panels on both sides were damaged on both sides the paint was chipped off by the front wheels that they performed the brake service. I wash my car almost weekly and I take extremely good car of the paint so I was heartbroken that the paint was damaged and was no fault of my own. Now I have to take it to another place and pay to have it fixed. Did not notice till I got home

I went to service my back brakes and rotors. Instead of getting my back brakes and rotors done I’m not sure what they did with my car however my car was not serviced at all and I paid $100 over premium for my labor. I also did not get my brakes serviced I went to an additional maintenance center and they explain to me that my brakes were not touched at all. Upon realizing that my brakes were still grinding I called Midas and explain to him what was going on and they told me to wait 24 hours. It has been two weeks since my repair and I am completely dissatisfied and I am requesting a full refund of my service visit. I have to now spend another $600 on repairing my back brakes and rotors this will be the last time that I come to Midas

Brakes were done satisfactory, but we also paid for an evaluation of our air conditioning unit. Midas explained that it would cost $250 to repair the unit. Less than 12 hours later, no air-conditioning and the shop wanted to charge an additional $450!!!! They had the nerve to say they did the right thing, and that they could not guarantee against additional leaks. I say their evaluation methods stink and their handling of the situation was unprofessional. I will never go there again, for any service.
