In order to retrieve my vehicle, I had to sign a pad without any context. That is, the counter person could not print a copy for me to sign so that I could see what I was signing. My signature can now be used for any document Midas so chooses without my permission.
The staff at the Thompson Rd location is phenomenal. They are courteous, attentive and take the time to explain what’s happening. Kudos on hiring such wonderful people!!

I came in for inspection they recommended two filters I declined it at this time.it passed inspection but when I got it home and turned on the heat it was making a very loud noise. I called they said to bring it back in. I explained to the guy when I got there the problem and he came right out to my car to look at it and one of the filters was not all the way in. I was very satisfied that he looked right then and there and fixed the problem even though they were closing in 15 minutes. I wasn’t highly satisfied just for the fact that I had to bring it back a second night

I made an appointment online and it seems that, whatever software is used, it does not communicate to the store. The employee stated that it was not on his computer and repeated numerous times how much of a pain in the a** the online appointments were. So figuring out that issue would help. Also, telling your employees to not pick their teeth with the paper tags they place on the customers keys, would be nice as well. I had to witness this employee not only pick his teeth with one (while talking to him) but then also sucking whatever was on it, off. Just a suggestion. The employee who checked me out was great and super nice. It was just uncomfortable at check in.
Communication here is very poor, i think that’s the real issue. The initial person i spoke with was courteous and upbeat, a different guy cashed me out after the oil change was completed. He was an a**hole right away. I’ll just go back to the dealership from now on, they cost more but at least they know how to communicate with customers. I requested a synthetic blend when I made the appointment, because that’s what i’ve always used in every vehicle I’ve ever owned. He could have explained that my newer vehicle calls for full synthetic, i’m not unreasonable. When i asked to talk to the manager he said “you can talk to me” then he called out the window for the manager and then said “i’ll just go ahead and give you the $20 off” that and he kept calling me ma’am…. I know i’m portly, but last i checked i’m pretty sure i’m a guy…

The price online was not what I was charged. I was not quoted a price before the work was done. The person behind the counter was a little rude when I questioned him about the price at the end. Never going there again.
This Midas location has always been very good with their service and communication. They do excellent work and are always willing to answer questions. I was not thrilled by the fact that part of warranty was sent to me via e-mail and that I was expected to print this out and file it with my paperwork for my vehicle in order to have a valid set of paperwork. I feel this is unfair because many customers do not own prints and cannot print a copy at home. I have done so, but many people will not be able to and I feel this is a deceptive way of making it hard for people to submit claims. You should not engage in such processes and should provide all paperwork necessary at the time of servicing. Thank you, Dan Lord

Basically ignored when picking up & paying for service. 1 mechanic in garage & it took at least 15 minutes for him to look at us. He reluctantly went to search for someone to check us out. He came out of the back holding up his index finger as if to say that someone would be with us in just a minute. 10 minutes later 2 more guys come out of the back & don't even look at us. A few minutes later after watching the 2 look under the hood of a vehicle....I finally had enough! I went into the garage & yelled "Can somebody please cash me out?!?!? I've been waiting for like 30 minutes!!!" Someone came in & blah blah blah having a rough day personally yada yada yada.

Called and made an appointment arrived the service agent greeted me and quickly got the vehicle in for the service I requested, I asked about an additional service oil change they fit me in rather quickly, only complaint is the cost of the oil change i did not have my coupon was hoping clerk had one on hand but did not.

From the moment I walked in the door someone asked if I needed help. Looked at my vehicle right then gave me an estimated price and made an appointment for the next week. When I brought the vehicle in the next week they called me to explain what was bad and what was good gave me a price to do the work and were very pleasant. The next day I recommended them to a coworker who needed work done on his truck.

I took my vehicle for its normal oil change as I have for years now. When the tech told me it was done & how much it was I stated I've never paid that price before. He then stated it did go up ten dollars. When I got home & looked at my receipt I realized the problem was he used synthetic oil instead of the oil I normally use. I was charged 80 dollars instead of my normal 25 to 30 dollars. I just hope I'll be able to switch back to my normal oil after this.

If there is a further problem than what the vehicle was originally brought in for the shop doing the extra work should have to report the work needed and justify why so it keeps them honest and holds them accountable for getting it done
