There was a problem with my alternator. The light on my alternator dashboard came on. I took it to Midas based upon my Pleasant experience with the Midas and Solon. This was completely different. I was quoted a price for $1900 and some change for my service I called around for a second opinion there was a small dealer who was able to give me a much better price, I was $719 for the exact same service when I looked at the invoice gave me… It said that it was over $1500 worth of just parts and only $175 in labor. This case that really unreasonable and , that was just for the alternator that did not include the belt.
We have been visiting this particular Midas for many years and have never received anything other than spectacular service. This was no exception. We were immediately treated with respect and were told all would be taken care of, which it was. The service by this Midas never, ever, disappoints.

My estimate included brake pads, rotors and the replacement of calipers. They said the calipers were ceased. The cost was around $1100. I decided to get another opinion. I took my car to the Solon Midas and they indicated that the calipers were fine and that the pads and rotors had to he replaced. Their cost was around $400. This is fraud plain and simple!!

They improperly replaced my tires and made TPMS leaking. Tire got flat on the second day. Had to call AAA to put some air. I backed to Midas and the manager said it’s not his fault, lol. It’s 100% they are not doing it properly. There were no leaking at all before I replace my tires. They made both TPMS leaking.

I was told i needed new brakes/calipers and rack and pinion replacement. I had the brake work because of safety concerns. I took the car to a dealer who said rack&pinion was fine, and noise i heard was loose splash guard. Other repairs were needed: fluid leak, right front stab. link loose, corrosion on battery terminal.
This was the most stressful car service I have ever experienced. I called Midas after I had my car inspected at Lexus leadership and determined it needed brakes job. We had a coupon from Costco and thought we would use Midas instead. Was given an estimate and guaranty it will done by 5pm same day (Saturday). I stressed out several time I needed the car same day because we had important commitments next day and traveling away. He confirmed. I got call later that two sets of brakes are needed and another piece. Sounded strange since I was just at Lexus dealer who said the car would need front breaks in the future due to squeaky news. With coupon and plans to travel next day, I decided to get it taken care off. Stressed out on the phone I would need car same day and confirmed again by Midas employee. I called at 4:30pm to check if car is ready. I was shocked to hear that auto zone delivered wrong parts and will need to wait till Monday. I asked for the car to be put back together and was told not possible. You can imagine how upset I was. We missed next day travel on Mother’s Day, my son had late school arrival with car. Paid for Uber to get there on Monday. Employee attitude better.
