No communication on what was done or not done. i DID NOT RECEIVE AN INVOICE JUST A FINAL QUOTE. Justification is that it would be a text message to my phone. I am 78 years old and do not use text messages because they are too small. Then he said he would email it to my email address. Which he did. Upon reading my email once I got home, I found out that I need a new engine air filter and a new cabin air filter, as well as new window shield wipers. I would have purchase all of those things while there. I have been going to this shop since 2000. I still go there even though I live in Galena, OH. and drive by other Midas shops to get there. I called them and let them know I was disappointed I hope you decision to save on printing out my invoice was worth losing a long time customer.

Was told need look into getting new tires. I just got the tires in May of 2021 at this Midas. My tires only have a 10,000 miles on them out of a 50,000 miles warranty. I’m not paying for new tires for the crappy tires they put on. Either they pay for them or I’ll go somewhere else when it’s time for tires.
Location is very close, friendly service, always get me in and out in a timely fashion.
I’ve brought my SUV to Midas twice now. I have been very pleased with the ease of scheduling online, the courteousness of the assistant helping me, no waiting for my vehicle to be taken back, the timeliness of the service, and the assistant explaining everything to me. It felt like $70 was a bit much to get a light bulb changed but unfortunately alley I was not comfortable removing the battery to do it myself. Can’t imagine it took 30 minutes to do. Not an issue when I came in and now it’s load and I need to take it in to see what was done to it. Nothing about anything just handed the paperwork and rushed me out. I was never given another explanation for the reason I wanted my brakes checked. I was told that the brakes all looked good but never offered another reason for why I was feeling the things in my car. I am grateful that I wasn't sold something unnecessary, however.

The attendant that checked me in said my Pilot only takes Synthetic - I told him Have brought my pilot to Midas for almost every oil change. He said I had used synthetic oil in previous visits and my 2011 Pilot uses synthetic. I told him I have only used standard oil on every visit that he had to have been looking at the wrong car. I went to m y owners manual an it stated my car uses standard oil. I would suggest you teach your employees the correct oil for the correct years. I felt like I was being pushed to use synthetic. The new assistant manager Charlie went above and beyond what was expected for a car mechanic. He made sure I was thoroughly satisfied and was not rude, condescending or obnoxious like the past employees at that location in Powell, OH. His professional and pleasant demeanor returned my faith in people that day. I don't have to drive to Columbus and get service from the store on Refugee Rd even though I live in Delaware, OH now. I will go anywhere where the service is top shelf and pay the price for it.

Even though the warranty for the front brake pads on my car had expired 3 days prior to my visit/appointment, Midas still honored the warranty and replaced the brake pads (again) at no charge.
Staff was very welcoming. My situation was taken care of in a timely manner. Staff was up front and honest about the issue and the solutions for it.

I was quoted am estimated price of $400ish for my breaks. Once my car was there i was called and told it would be over $1000. because of an air hose/valve (?). When we said we would pick up the car and take it some place else we were called back to let us know the technician was able to get the part working and it would just be the $500 for the breaks.
