They employees were great and did a great job. The only problem was the price for a starter being almost $400 without labor when I could buy a brand new one for $150. I'm sure this isn't a shop issue though so I'm not holding it against them.

Their inspection caught an issue with my car that I had not noticed, and they saved me from what likely would have been a far more expensive repair. Normally I would be wary of my experiences at mechanics shops, as I don't know much about cars, but I feel much better after my experience here, knowing I have a trustworthy shop I can go to.

Mr. Whetstone was helpful in letting me know that I needed new tires after the men in the shop found out that there was cord exposed while balancing my tires. They got the new tires there in timely a manner and got them installed so I could get on my way.

First experience a year ago was awesome. Second time not so much. I came in on a (Friday) to get my brakes checked that they installed a year ago. I was told that it will be about a 3 hour wait. So I was told I can make an appointment the next day (Saturday) to be seen sooner. I'm currently here at my 11 am appointment and it's 1:15 pm. and my car is still in the same parking spot from when I got here. I've been sitting here patiently waiting while other cars come and go. I have not had an apology or anyone come to me for a status. I think there are other options for getting my brakes done that are a bit more consistent on great customer service. Also I don't see any faces from my previous visit a year ago. That might be the other reason. Unfortunately I paid for the lifetime warranty on my brakes so I would be taking a loss. I can attest the previous service was awesome on my Google review that was acknowledged by the owner. Not sure what my next review will be. As far as what Midas can do, well improve on all the previous issues mentioned in this post.

Service reps were friendly and accommodating. Inspection of problem was thorough, estimate of cost was thorough and accurate. Although there was a problem with a part being acquired and the fact that the part was defective, Midas solved the problem and made a cost adjustment for me to offset the inconvenience that resulted from this. The defective part was NOT the fault of Midas.

Nick, the manager was very friendly and welcoming. His customer service skills are exceptionally good. I observed him wanting to please and accommodate each customer that walk in the door but also while talking on the phone. He appears to be an all around great guy.
The service was quick and cheap and the guy helping me at the counter was nice and helpful.
We had an appointment for yesterday but had some van troubles. Joe was able to reschedule us for today with no problem. Our van (also our home) was treated with kid gloves which we really appreciate. This was not able to be performed at a different tire place because the bay was not tall enough.

Things never go as planned or perfect, so I wouldn’t say I was highly satisfied nor would I say I wasn’t highly satisfied. It took longer than they thought to get the parts needed by not fault of the associates. Don’t lie about an issue. Take responsibility for errors made during previous work. My brake pads and rotors were less than 5000 miles old. They were squeaking so I came back to the shop. I was told I needed over $700 in repairs and that a caliper had failed. I went elsewhere and found out the pads weren’t seated correctly during install. They fixed it for $100

A year ago my A/C needed freon. They filled it with dye and tried to find a leak. They couldn't find it. Said if any issues, bring it back and by then, they'd be able to definitely find the leak. It started to have issues again, took it in and they checked everything. The A/C button had somehow been stuck in a way where it was lit, but wasn't actually on. So they checked everything, pushed the button a few times, tested the air temp and everything worked. Said if it started having issues again, come back right away and I would be taken care of. Greatly appreciate the quality of service and commitment of follow through on a job.

The manager Yelled at me after i asked why my car is still not fixed and why is my vehicle doing the same thing that i dropped it off for. He Made me feel very uncomfortable andthreatened. I have been in Norman for 38 years and Midas had always taken care of me in an excellent way. I bought a new car and with that new car I was given two years of service, but I’m back to Midas now. The costs have gone up so high that it’s almost cost and prohibitive. I hate it but I will be looking around for a better pricing.

Turned car in for a check engine light and rough running engine. Told them the code was bad cam sensor but they said it was an ignition coil. $125 for the diagnostic. $635 later, drove car next day and same thing started again. Will take it back soon and see if I get charged another $125 to find out what they missed the first time.
Nick and Joe were AMAZING! I called several times throughout the process of trying to coordinate my insurance along with the repairs on my vehicle and Nick and Joe were both very patient and understanding. They helped me tremendously by working with my insurance to get my car fixed! Great guys!!

I came in cause I had an alternator breakdown on the highway. So my truck was on a tow truck. The service writer and mechanic came right out to help and really made me feel like they cared. They fixed my problem and I drove home in the afternoon. Very impressed. I will return when needed!

I called mid morning on a Friday and asked if they could fit me in. They said they could, took my name, but wasn’t able to drop off till over an hour later (toddler). Dropped my vehicle off, pricing explained, made sure they had my number, and before my errands were completed they called and said it was done but wanted to check my breaks. I said sure and within an hour they called back and said they were okay and my car was ready. Easy peasy.

I had received a notice in mail stating I may be due for brake service sine it had been a while since my brake pads were replaced. So I went in for a check up. I was told they were okay.
No coffee or water available in the waiting room. Otherwise the experience was quite satisfying.
Getting the services I requested on my appointment would be good for starters. I scheduled an oil change and a tire rotation, came in and mentioned my name and the appointment which included an oil change. Got quoted a price so high that I could only have assumed it included the rotation as well, but they only did the oil change. Then I was upcharged 100% on a service/part that I (unfortunately later) learned I could have done myself without paying twice the amount of the part. This on top of still needing the tire rotation done, but I've already scheduled that somewhere else and probably will not bother giving this location another shot. Sad, because this place was great under the previous manager.

Joe was very accommodating in squeezing in my alternator replacement. Was quoted that it would be 3 hours before they could get started on it, but he and his team was able to get it started and finished in under 2 hours. Unlikely to return as I do not live in the area.
To not charge an arm and a leg to weld a muffler on without being dumped for $80 and taking half an hour long I’m a mechanic myself I can weld up a muffler 20 minutes if I had the right equipment to do so the work “weld” did not look like $80 next time I’ll spend my money elsewhere. Like $40 to weld a muffler an a dump only taking 35 mins to do the job.
I was a walk in customer. I believe the associate who helped me was named Joe. He was very helpful. Called me at least twice during the day to update and explain what was going on. Explained options and prices very well. He even remembered my name as soon as I walked back in the store!

Took about 4 hours to complete a break job
Came in for what I thought was a brake issue and ended up not actually having any issues with the brake system. No one tried to steer me into buying parts that weren’t needed so while my car was there I had an alignment done and now the car doesn’t pull to the left anymore. While checking over the brakes they also noticed a outer tie rod was worn, but said it still had some life left which speaks volumes for not trying to charge for parts that don’t necessarily need to be changed at the moment.
Appears there was a change of leadership at this location and it's the pits. Wait area downhill, use to be a comfortable setting, not any more was not communicated the cost before repairs were done. I have been a solid customer for all my automotive needs for 15 years and have brought 5 other customers into this operation. None of us will be going back. Current operation no where the caliber of before. I doubt this location will even exist in 6 months.

Did not have appointment. My catalytic converter was cut off my truck. They got me in quickly and put a new one on. After a month my check engine light came on and the dealership said the converter was bad. Took it back to Midas where they warranted it even though their supplier would not. They were looking out for the customer and wil reccomend them to any one

The service was good but I didn't like that they would add extra fees to what I was promised to be charged. They shouldn't promote one price and charge something else. Everybody I met at the shop was kind, courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient (Steve, Saradon, Tony, and Gregory, to name just a few). Steve kept me up to date while Gregory replaced the muffler. Because the weather was extremely hot, Saradon gave me a ride home when I dropped off my car and picked me up when it was ready the next day. I couldn't ask for better service or nicer people!
