The receptionist (Susan) was very helpful and friendly. It was my first time at this location, and although options weren't explained to me, I was quite specific about the oil change I wanted. They were cheerful when I arrive bright and early, explained that it would be about 45 minutes. I took my son for a little walk, then when we came back Susan was kind enough to introduce her to a mechanic and show my son what they were doing (he LOVES the auto shop!). When they were done, the young man handed over the keys and had a quick and cheerful exchange with my son. I was very happy with the personal feeling the small shop providee. I grew up being blessed with my dad being a mechanic and never had to go anywhere else - this transition was so smooth. Thank you Fairview Brantford! We will be back!
First, I was looking for a coupon for an oil change from the Great Canadian Oil Change company and the search page showed Midas with a 39.99 regular oil change so I printed off the coupon and used the available link to make an appointment. I received an email back immediately saying that my request was being reviewed and I would hear back from Midas very shortly. I did get the confirmation very quickly that my requested time was confirmed. I was very impressed with the reservation process.When I arrived at the Midas shop, Susan who was the person that responded to my appointment request was on the reception desk and was most accommodating. She explained the pricing that came with my coupon, particularly about the environmental charges so I was clear about the total price before I gave her my keys for the service.The waiting room was very appealing and clean. There was reading material available.The service was speedy. When completed the vehicle was brought right to the door ready for me.I considered the experience very welcoming and I will be a return customer. Susan was a great ambassador for Midas.
Because I have to wait for my service I was really unhappy with how long it took to get just an oil change. It was a hour and a half for my oil change and I was able to see my car being serviced. It sat up on the elevator for almost a hour before they serviced it. I love Midas because I can get a deal on my oil change but I almost want to spend more money somewhere else because I don’t want to wait around forever for it to finish and book out my afternoon. Really unhappy with that aspect but everything else was very professional and pleasant.
Staff were friendly and welcoming. Services performed were done on time and on schedule. I will be back again!!
The process itself of fixing a car is never really a fun one. However, the following day, the associate at the firm called me letting me know I had actually been overcharged. If that person is reading this, I would like to personally take the time to thank you. She didn’t have to do that, and as a person, I truly do appreciate it. The service was fast, cars are always expensive, but that really made my day. Someone being kind enough to follow up and inform me. Job well done Midas Brantford.

My visit was related to change of break pad and rotors for rear tires. It was supposed to take 1:30 hours for the complete process however it took 3 hours.There was no drop off or pick up service was available. I did uber for the same.Price initially communicated was lower than what I paid.
The quote I got from Midas was 50 % higher than a quote I got elsewhere for the same job. Very shocked and disappointed. However, the front desk Manager was very genuine, very helpful and most pleasant. I was thankful she got me in for a quick quote on my vehicle. I appreciated her.
Complete all the work I want done and told them to fix and they don’t and find additional work every time which is ridiculous
From what little explanation they knew right away the work that had to be done. I wasn't in a hurry to get it done but they got it done promptly.
Susan at the front desk has been incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and friendly. They are always very quick to get us in. The communication has also been so nice, they are quick to get back to me with the results and how much the fix will cost.

Went for a transmission fluid change was told that it can be done did try to confirm many times if they had the OEM fluid once I reached was disappointed to know that it wasn't . Moreover took almost 45 min to realize that they were not sure how to do the service on my vehicle and did end up not doing it.

Travelling from Ottawa with my two sons to Brantford for a lacrosse tournament and rear brakes went on Friday night upon arrival to hotel. Midas was opened on Saturday and got me in immediately to fix brakes. They were pleasant to deal with and really help
