Had received oil change 6 weeks prior and noticed car was leaking oil slowly. Took the car to mechanic and he indicated that Midas had not put on an oil gasket on vehicle. I called Midas and manager indicated I could book appt to bring car in and they would do an oil change if gasket was the issue….they confirmed they did not put on gasket and when I mentioned I have to now fix the oil stains on my driveway… the mgr said the oil is not leaking too much only sweating so it shouldn’t be from the gasket..I said when a car is parked it has leaked over time…and he said he already did me favour and did an oil change at no charge. I was offered no apology and made it seem I was on top with getting an oil change for something they messed up!

No communication for my VSA system was given after my appointment. Told they would give me an estimate for the part the next day but didn’t get a call or estimate. Price for inspection was ridiculous because I knew there was something wrong with my VSA system and they told me that it just needs to be replaced which I assumed needed to be done. Spent $160 for them to tell me a problem I already knew.

First let me admit that i was 8 minutes late. the gentleman started complaining as I entered that you are late now we can't do full service and we will just oil change etc. He was too rude during the whole time i stayed. He mentioned it take 90 minutes to complete the service but they finished oil change in 40 minutes. he said the technician only check tires pressure but can't do anything because i was 8 minutes late. they didn't put sticker on for mileage when i asked he replied rudely that the printer is broken.
During the last 18 months I have taken my 3 family vehicles to John for a variety of reasons. Appointments are always easily made, the timings for the jobs, and the prices all reasonable.
Poor customer service at this location. I very shady business. The front end man Bobby very rude and yells and defensive when you ask questions. I brought my 16 Lexus and Suzukisx4 for service. He told me my 16 Lexus was all done and no issues once I paid the 1500 bill and went home. He called and said that the mechanic told him there was a leak however there was never a leak when I took the car in. Why not tell me and add it on the invoice. Seems like they knocked the gasket cover and trying to cover up! Plus this location they are always rude. Plus he said my lug nut was put back but still cant find it. Now who's going to pay for that one?I have been going there for a couple of years because I live right close by. I am a Doctor and imagine if I try to do what these guys do when trying to fix my patient! I would be out of a licence to practice. Get some people with integrity on your staff. Vehicles are an extension of our anatomy now a days and only trustworthy establishments should be operating on them not some people who have neither compassion nor proficiency in their trait!
The guys really knowing their job. Repair it in a quick time.and inspection will explain for future repairs. And offer me payment plans.

The guy recommended changing the timing belt that first on the phone I declined. However, I dropped by the store, directed to do the service and negotiated the total price. He charged the full price w/o the timing belt change and insisted that I did not want the timing belt. At best it was a miscommunication. It is possible that he got busy and forgot. The guy's English was good though. I have a witness who was with me.

I have been owning cars for over 60 years and met many service people, the Midas were knowledgeable, friendly, and trustworthy, in comparison.
Forgot to replace coolant despite it being noted in my appointment notes, refused to provide any sort of discount despite combining multiple services. Multiple services in one visit takes less overall time for Midas, however there was no concession made in price

All was communicated and went well. Tho, I had an appt for 8:30 am and new it was a 1 hour job, all bays were full and the work was not able to start at 8:30. I walked home and was contacted at 10:30 it was done. I mistakenly thought an appt. At 830 meant it would start at 830 and could wait the estimated hour. In future I’ll ask before I come in so that I can arrange for a ride etc.
