Have used this location for many years and have had a variety of vehicles and services done. Had some issues at times but they were rectified and was treated as a valued customer.

I went in with what I thought was a $100 issue, but turned into a $1200 issue. The mechanic explained what was wrong and what could resolve the issue. The store manager gave me options as to what the next step should be. He even asked me to come back in two weeks for a no-charge inspection just to make sure that this repair was COMPLETELY fixed

I was quite satisfied overall with my appointment and service. The mechanic clearly indicated his findings to me and resolved an issue. I was not able to leave the vehicle in the shop longer for a more thorough diagnostic, as I needed to use it. I plan to go back soon to get that done.

Staff were friendly, explained my options well and the service went quickly. The car was in great shape when I received it back and I was super pleased.

Brake pads replaced, refused to acct$50 coupon for the service, I did agree with them even though they were wrong. After brake service did not do proper inspection. Noticed noise when driving car. Came back next day to complain about the noises, service manager told m to cone back in couple of weeks to see if noise would’ve go awy. It did not came back in two weeks as the noise got louder. They inspected the brakes and not the right brake pad were loose. Service manager was due to capliers being rusted and I need to put in new calipers. I challenged him and said how does he know root cause is the calliper and not a defect in the brake pads. He agreed to replace the brake pads and the problem went away.

I was told that they put in one litre of windshield washer fluid in my car to top it up. What they didn't know is that the day before I brought my car to gas station to vacuum it and go through car wash and I personally topped up up the windshield washer fluid myself. And I never used and fluid from then to my visit to Midas. So what they told me was a complete lie. Also, usually when I visit there, they tell me something needs to be fixed or replaced. Something different each time I go there. But I never get it "fixed". This time they told me that everything on car was fine. I do not trust Midas anymore. Going elsewhere from now on.

Have various vehicles serviced at this location, some with some major issues. All problems were corrected and was able to talk directly with the owner to discuss any concerns.

Great staff, reliable service

I am not a mechanic and I might be wrong. It took 3.5-4 hours to change the 4 tires and do the alignment, albeit one tire was flat and significantly damaged.

I start3d going to this particular garage about 7 years ago and I found the owner to be quite honest with his explanation for the work to be done. On my third visit, he had a recommendation things that should be fixed and things that cam wait. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Do a more thorough inspection of the issue

The length of time to complete the service but that was most likely due to timing of the year with the Christmas holidays. It is a little difficult to be without the car for two days so that is the only thing service I miss from the dealership is getting a loaner vehicle however, the pricing is much higher.

The staff at my local Midas is very friendly and courteous. I was not able to come by in the afternoon to pick up the vehicle. So they offered to keep my car locked up safe inside the garage. I was really happy with that suggestion and it was very kind of them to offer that option.

Employees should be there on time and ready to work when appointment is made. Customers shouldn't have to wait 4 plus hours for something that should only take 2 at most. When taking appointments, employee should ask the right questions so that they are prepared for when the customer arrives.

I was greeted in a friendly manner. When an issue with my car came up during the free inspection, it was explained to me. With the quote in writing in a calm, and polite manner.

Vehicle had a check engine light that needed to be resolved plus the standard oil change as service checks. Brakes needed to be done as well after they were inspected. Shown the parts and details of check engine light explained. This was an unscheduled appointment and they were able to get my vehicle repaired.

I work nights and they try to accommodate me due to that also my waiting period is satisfactory. They also give me the best prices for my budget. The Midas location at Eglinton & Tomken has always been my "go-to" place for auto repairs & services. They are friendly and really explain what type of service I am getting and if it's a larger "repair" then they always explain what the issue is, how they will rectify the issue and the overall cost, before I have to make any decisions on whether or not I want to proceed with the service. They don't just do the work, then tell me to pay them. They ask first, get my consent, then do the work. For that I am grateful and for that I will continue to come back for future service.
