Owner is affable and knowledgeable and his mechanics are very competent.
While I did not want the dirty filter to be replaced, I did not expect the loose leaves to be put back in as well. All he has to do was to turn the filter up side down with no effort. As a result, when he put the dirty filter back in, lots of loose stuff fell into the blower.
The service was outstanding. The time it was done in amazing. And the friendly staff where great. Spend 4200.00 felt it was well worth it. Will recommend to everyone l know. I give them a 12 out of 10. Thank you 😊

The high regard I have does not necessarily apply to ALL Midas out lets, but reflects the professionalism and knowledge of the manager, Bobby Kosko. The greatest strength he brings to the franchise is his ability to diagnose issues accurately as well as to train his mechanics likewise.
Robert is always clear and concise on what will be done and has been done. On my several visits I have never had surprises either on cost or work done.
The attendant was very polite, asking me all reasonable questions to understand the situation not inducing answers. The quote, parts that need to be changed, reasons why it could be changed and what is needed to change in order of emergence was well exposed.

I dropped by on my way to a meeting to see if they could look at my car. The dashboard indicator said my low beam bulb was out. I left my car and walked to my meeting a block away. I went online to make my first appointment with Midas upon receiving a coupon for a discounted oil change price.I received a phone call to apologize that they were completely tied up with winter tire change demands and offered time slots in about 3 weeks.I had two cars requiring servicing so I made an appointment.Received regular reminders of the upcoming appointments .Dropped the cars off at the scheduled times between 10AM - 12 PM and the follow daybetween 2PM and 4 PM . Both cares were serviced well within the 2 noir window.Wonderful people to deal with.
Two wheel nuts were damaged during change to my winter tires. It was not brought to my attention and I had to return shortly after to have replaced. They did replace without issue so I appreciated that

They left the spare on and put the new tire where the spare tire goes rather than putting the spare tire back in it’s place at the end.

I made an appointment online about a week in advance. The day before I received a reminder email with confirmation of my appointment time. When I arrived, Bob knew why I was there and the type of vehicle and service I requested. I received a call during the day with an update on pricing and recommendations for additional services needed. There was no pressure tactic used when recommending additional services and it was agreed to complete the work that was immediately required. The car was ready in a few hours and I received the call to pick up. Pick up was easy and all the repairs were explained.
I have visited this Midas for at least 30 years with all my vehicles. The service and quality of work has always been excellent. The service manager knows his customers and, from what I have seen while waiting for my car, his service is consistently polite and amiable. He keeps all of his customers up to date on what was done and what will need to be done in the next year to keep the vehicle on safe condition.I have moved to Kanata, but still go to Orleans for my car.

This appointment was not routine. It involved installation of an after market rear view camera. This required knowledge and experience with the wiring. Bobby Kosko (the manager) knew this and installed it such that the power for the monitor connected with a wire located behind my radio in the dashboard. This is better since it takes out a cumbersome wire to the cigarette lighter. You need experience ans skill not always available from others to do this.

I have been a long time customer of this particular Midas location. I feel that I can trust what they tell me and rely on them to deal with the issue well and in a timely fashion. When I purchased my current (used) vehicle several years ago, there were issues with the brakes from day 1. The dealer had the car in for service twice after my complaint and found nothing wrong (unable to duplicate the problem, nothing wrong on visual inspection). Frustrated, I brought the car in to Midas. They found the problem within minutes and were able to correct it.

I was there maybe 30minutes for my oil change. The manager explained to me everything when the did the check on my car and explained to me what issues me car had (broken wiper blade on the back of my car) and offered my solutions. Once finished they drove my car to meet me at the front where I was standing which I was happy about as I felt very valued and they even apologized for adjusting my seat( I am very short and the mechanic driving my car into the shop from where I was parked had to move the seat back). Which I was absolutely not upset about because he was doing me a favour driving the car in for me while I waited inside. The experience was good and I really enjoyed being able to understand the report he gave me as he went over it with me since I don’t speak car and wouldn’t have understood that report without explanation. The manager and I spoke while I waited and we had a good conversation about our favourite car brands. The manager ( I think his name may have been Robert) is very personable. Had a coolant leak which they had trouble finding. They added a dye and found the leak. Fixed it. Costs were up front and no extra charges. My car was in the garage a short time.

Was way overcharged. Was charged $110 for a regular oil change. I have only ever paid max $60 for every oil change, I contacted the location and nobody has ever gotten back to me. I want a refund for the overcharge.

The staff communicated concerns about other service I may need to schedule but didn't force anything on me. They were clear as to the possible issues and made sure I knew exactly what I need to look for if I decided to schedule my next appointment to take care of the issues they outlined for me
I purchased and brought in a bolt on part to be installed it was a job that should have taken less than 1 hour to complete. The final bill for the installation of the bolt on part was over $400. A completely unacceptable amount for the job that was done.
