The price was reasonable for the oil change, however, I wasn't happy that a service person disconnected the power source to my dash cam and left some oil from his hands on my seat and door panel.
I was able to book my appointment online and received confirmation. When I arrived I was greeted and was offered a coffee while I waited. My car was ready in about 15 minutes and no pressure add on sales or unexplained charges.

It would seem there's a problem with supervision in the shop else it was a management decision! The problem is I asked for a brake fluid flush and was billed for it yet it was not done, worse the mech splashed some fluid around the expected areas to make it look like it was done. I might have been fooled if it wasn't I replaced the calipers 2 days later and got green used fluid when I bled the lines. And the bleeder valves were seized on both old calipers so they were never opened. I had to flush the entire system myself to finally get clear fresh fluid to come out the bleeders! Also, I doubt the alignment I paid for was done. First it wasn't necessary since there's no adjustments for the lower control arms and whenever I had them do one before I always got a report with the bill, I didn't get a report this time. This one is definitely on the management. I used to trust this place and I was always happy with their work before. I guess the good mechanics moved on.

Every time I go to Midas I have a very satisfied experience. They are friendly and provide coffee and water while I wait. I have gone in with other issues and they have resolved them without cost. For example I couldn't open my hood one day and couldn't get my back seat to pull up front. It just took 2 minutes to explain how to do it but it was very helpful. I feel that my truck is always taken care of. That gives me peace of mind.Sue

Even though I decided not to proceed with repairs, as they were too expensive for the age of the vehicle, the gentleman treated me with respect and understanding. He was so patient and polite. I will only have my vehicles serviced at this location. Even though I live in Port Colb orne, I had a bad experience with the Welland Midas, and would prefer to travel to the Hartzel Road location.

I have been coming to the Hartzel Rd location since the early 80's. I have always had EXCELLENT service there when Randy owned it--and now with the new owners that have been there for a while now---the EXCELLENT service continues. I was VERY IMPRESSED by the staff members who explained everything and advised the repair. This location still has some of the original staff from when Randy owned it. Having all of the Shell and Beaver gas stations in the area in the 80's---I always recommended my customers to go to this location if they needed exhaust or other work done on their vehicle--because they would receive good service and honesty in their dealings.

If the car owner wishes to get his tires rotated as I requested, it should happen. They are my tires not his. If I asked to have the sway bars checked, which i did, the sway bars should have been checked not told it was on the checklist. Took 20 mins to change oil and check the 15 check points.

arrived 15 min. early, car was on a hoist 5 min. later, leaking muffler was identified 2 min. later and a new one was installed 15 minutes later. Impressive! Price was right too.
Arrived early after opening and a spot was immediately open for an oil change and inspection. It was completed in good time and the staff was great while I waited.
The problem was with lack of acceleration for a few minutes every few days. And this happened over several weeks. The initial conclusion was water in the gas, but the problem did not go away. The mechanic did a thorough scan of the sensors and concluded it was the solenoid which turned out to be broken.
The technician check several other items while changing the oil and even cleaned up the battery connections. When she mentioned that the muffler would soon need to be replaced, I mentioned that there was a bit of a vibrating and they noticed that a heat shield was missing a clamp, so one was added before I left.

I came to Midas for a tire and brake inspection, Air leak, balancing, and alignment. One of the receptionist was rude, and she told me that the brakes must be repaired because it was an unsafe condition. At that moment, I was not able to afford the brakes and rotors repairs, and I told her over the phone that I will not proceed with the brake repairs ( I was at home waiting for my car). When I came back to Midas, I asked the receptionist if my alignment and balancing were completed, and the rude receptionist interrupted our conversation to tell me that my requested was not processed because the brakes are unsafe. I believe that lady is not happy with her job, and therefore, she should find another job before complaints continue arise.
I always get my car serviced at Midas Hartzel Road and I am always happy I do. Appointments are easy to come by, the response is always quick, and I'm never waiting long for my car to be done. The price is always right too with coupons mailed to me regularly. Shop and front desk staff are always very friendly as well! 10/10 would recommend Midas Hartzel Road!

I drive from out of town in order to visit this Midas. The lady(ies) that work the front desk are very friendly and happy to chat with you between calls. All the techs I've had work on my car are also very nice and come across to me as honest. I got a synthetic oil change. While sitting in my car I open the Midas web site to write a review of how fast they were and saw that they have a $59.00 special on synthetic oil changes. I was not offered this special. That's not good service.
