There was pavement construction outside near where my car was parked so it was covered dust from the road work. Would have been nice if it was run through the car wash that is next door. I would have even paid for this. Also it would be nice just to use the seat position memory so it is back to normal when picking it up. Not a big deal but would be a nice touch.
I am glad that they did a good job in replacing the fog lights. I hope my fog lights work successfully the next time I drive at night time.
I’ve been to this Midas location before, they’re quite good and fast. I think my only gripe is your online booking process — I’m hard of hearing and a young woman, I don’t really feel very “safe” or secure when I call over the phone to book appointments. It’d be easier if I could book online based on when you’re all actually available, not just from any date and time and hope for the best because they do inevitably have to call me when the time I chose isn’t actually available. That’s not on the Danforth guys though, just a bad user experience (and I’m a UX designer for a living so I feel confident this isn’t the best practice you guys could be using! If you just listed the actual available times, clients would know they’re booked in immediately and guys in the location can spend their time doing the work rather than playing phone tag with clients). I digress, the guys at Midas Danforth are awesome, the service was fast and reasonably priced, the communication was stellar, the folks inside are all quite nice. Thank you :)

Labour cost does not match the abilities of mechanics and the service they provide. Same problems resurface since the problem is not correctly diagnosed and solution therefore is wrong and/or improperly executed. Bordering on incompetence.

When I ask to do 2 things check exhaust for leaks and shampoo engine and they fail to do the engine shampoo and it is too late to have that done the same day when I find out it was not done, I get upset that my instructions were not completed. I don't want to do 2 trips for 2 small repairs.

This is the 3rd time I've brought a car into Midas for tire repair due to puncture from a nail within 7 months (another issue in Toronto entirely - don't get me started).. I'm disappointed that the only option for what appeared to be a relatively minor puncture was to replace the entire tire at substantial cost and the lack of options to try to prevent this from reoccurrence. In addition the delivery of the tire was delayed and the service was completed later than initially communicated although from the Midas contact this was no fault of Midas but rather the truck delivering the tire and service was completed within an hour next day.
They are very honest when it comes to explaining the service. They always take such great care of my vehicle. Professional and friendly employees. I never have any issues at this location. I highly recommend anyone in the area to go to this location.

The original service job included a full rebuild of the brakes including brake lines. Upon a subsequent inspection by a second mechanic at another service centre, it was pointed out that the brake lines had been installed in an unsafe manner and posed a dangerous risk to the driver. When the car was taken back to the Midas where the work was done, the manager acknowledged the unsafe manner in which the job had been carried out and immediately took the car in for a new brake lining job.
