My original visit to "fix" my brakes I spent $360 and they adjusted my brakes and did an oil change. I drove home and the brakes were squeaky and did not feel right. I booked a second appointment the next day and explained the situation. I was told the brakes were cheap and inadequate. I was then told to rectify the problem that I would need new pads and rotors and a caliper service. Spent $600 for the job. Would have been nice if the technician told me on my first visit that I needed the pads and rotors on my original visit. I will still use Midas and hold no hard feelings towards the company.

This is my go to shop from now on! Service advisors were very friendly and courteous to listen and to as well provide feedback. They go out of the way to ensure that my concern is met. The service advisor contacted the mechanic assigned to my service call and we went on a test drive - that made a HUGE difference as they took the time for this and let me point out the issue. Other places I've been to don't even come close to this type of service. The entire crew and the mechanic (Nard) were simply amazing - Nard was so friendly and took the time to explain everything to me - his knowledge and experience makes a huge difference. The first mechanic shop I went to took 66 days to get an estimate and then told me it would take 3 weeks to order parts and then about 2 weeks to fix it. Then they told me the vehicle was impossible to repair. I got my insurance company to bring my vehicle to Midas and it took them 4 days for the estimate, 5 days to order parts and 2 days to fix it. This Midas is the best place in all of Toronto to get vehicles repaired or serviced. I hope they stay open for 50 more years ! I will always go there.

I had gone there and requested commercial oil with the original sales associate who is very friendly polite and helpful. When I came back after 45 minutes when it was promised to be done I ended up interacting with the woman owner. The oil change had not been done at all and she was trying to convince me to get synthetic oil instead of conventional oil claiming that my warranty might become invalid. That is patently false unless it's specifically related to the oil which I am not concerned about. We had a debate about this for a few minutes causing me stress strain uncertainty and getting me upset for no reason. We had already agreed with the previous sales associate who checked me in with the service required and it was in the workorder. Why did this woman just trying to get me to spend a lot more money on an oil change or maybe she really believes that it's so important to get synthetic oil. I don't think it is. I ended up saying I was satisfied and highly satisfied some of your questions because she did give me a significant discount basically charging me for conventional although I got synthetic oil according to the detailed invoice/receipt.

Staff at Midas are very friendly and communicate every single detail with you before proceeding with any repairs. Replacement parts are available very soon and so is a detailed quote for any repair. An honest discussion would be better. I went for an emergency service replacement for my radiator. Although Rodrigo was very helpful. He did offer me $500 for an 1800 brand radiator that would cost around $150. He even mentioned to me that an OEM radiator for a 2011 Hyundai Genesis coupe would cost around $800 even though I know that it costs $200. Labour is very unreasonable price for such easy job replacing a radiator.

I felt it took to long to plug a tire and that extra time was charged to me. When l am charged over 65 dollars to remove a nail from a tire and plugged is ridiculous.
