He was very friendly, and explained to me the problems of my car that other shops have not done it before . He is a very honest man. I highly recommend the Midas Store at the Burnside branch. Marc started our interaction by listing out old services my car needed many of which this location already addressed. This was irritating in that I came to get an oil change I have been doing so at this location for almost 11 years. When I do come in they always provide the recommendations and explain them I had to ask about a couple of the items because there was no explanation only that "these are what you declined" which I was not even given the opportunity to have them done, schedule another appt or decline them also it was not explained to me that I should replace a tire that was extremely worn until I asked.
On internet price was $29.99. That's why I chose Midas. The internet didn't say anything about price changes due to different. Thought I was spending $30, but cost $80. Good oil change and fast, but discrepancy with price was very disappointing.
Service gentleman offered to put light bulb in for me saw it was in my car and took upon himself to do. That was awesome thank you very appreciated.

I have been getting my oil changed here for a few years now and I always have a positive experience. This time I didn’t have to search for a coupon as I usually do because the associate automatically gave me the discount. He was also helpful in explaining why I didn’t need my tires rotated at this point. I had asked about having a license plate attached and he explained that I needed a bracket and offered to order one or said that if I pick it up elsewhere he would put it on for me. I just really appreciate the respect and courtesy that I was shown. Great job!

The technician performing the patch work on the tailpipe was not wearing gloves during the welding process. Having welding experience myself, I found this bothersome. I was paying for the labor, and as I watched, the technician had to stop, once or twice, from what he was doing, remove his welding helmet, and inspect his arm for burns from hot sparks. That seemed odd to me that a professional welder wasn't prepared for hot pieces of molten metal to be falling while the work was being executed overhead.

Being honest is a good start. I went in for an oil change and within the hour all the oil spilled out of my vehicle and there was no oil in it. The next day I had some more work done on it and they also confirmed there was no oil in it. My car has NEVER leaked oil. I will never return there again and I will be asking for a refund.

The associate who helped me was very friendly and professional and was aware that I had children there with me and he did his best to accommodate them. When I asked for a ballpark figure when I dropped off I was told "around $300' but not told what the high end estimate might be. Set an appointment quickly. Came in early and they got me in right away. They explained that I needed tires soon and possibly a battery but didn't pressure me to buy one. It was explained and showed me all about tire depth and how to gage the wear.

I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to have my tire fixed the same day, but my fears were quickly put to rest. The staff was very informative and helpful. it was what it was... the work was completed that I brought the vehicle in for. The tech left the seat nowhere near the position it was when I drove it in. It had been lowered and reclined, and not returned to its' original position. Smudges of undercarriage dirt and grease from hands was on the top of the door panel.
I have visited this location several times and have always been pleased to be serviced by employees that are totally upfront and honest about what my vehicle does and does not need!They are professional, friendly, and easy to work with. Very helpful with my car which has 280,000 miles on it. I home mechanic it to save money and the Midas personnel are very supportive of my attempts to repair things. Those are attempts as I'm not a professional mechanic, but they are, and seem to be able to fix just about anything. Midas is very close to where I live and if something breaks, they even repaired my car same day. Very good job Midas. Hard workin shop you got.

I have been bringing vehicles to this location for at least ten years. Everyone is always extremely helpful, fitting us in at the last minute and explaining all any issue in detail. George was able to get my mother's car in and the wiper motor / linkage replaced at a moment's notice so she could make the hour and a half drive to her home near the coast, with full working wipers on one of the wettest days we have seen in a while.
Service was good but on the ad it stated it was a special of $29.99 they didn't acknowledge the ad that was on line they charge more for a basic oil change it $ 38.00
They wouldn't rotate my tires because they said the tread was too low. Yet, they wanted to sell me new tires even though the mileage on my tires was not even near their stated life, which I told them. Disappointing. I will go elsewhere for my next oil change.

I had a tire that was going flat, I was downtown and no where to go, tried to make it to Les Schwab and they said it would be two hours before they could even try putting air in it, so I took the chance to make my way to Midas on Halsey. I needed to take care of this right away because I was on my way to pick up a friend from the hospital in Beaverton when this tire problem occured. They were great, checked all of the other tires and was told they still had lots of wear left. I ended up buying one new tire for now but would be back to get another so they would be matched and then have them rotated.They were fast, professional and knowledgeable and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need.

I really like this Midas, have taken my car for oil changes here for years, have gotten car repairs here, and have recommended friends go here (who also had good experiences). There was a period of a year or two maybe starting three years ago where they were trying to upsell tires and other stuff that I didn't need, which was kinda annoying, but overall I really appreciate the staff and level of service here

This has to do, I think, with a new team settling in. In years past, under Jason’s and Roger’s management, communication was centralized and well coordinated, so that I knew exactly where I was going and why at each step after the setup phase. It was a bit rough, sometimes disjointed, this time around. But it was manageable, with end product satisfying. Saxon was especially helpful taking over at the end.
Paul, the gentleman at the front counter, was exceptionally kind and thorough during check in. He walked out with me to get my vehicle information and helped me assess some damage I had on the front of my car. When pick up time came, he called me and let me know they didn't see any damage to the structure of the vehicle. Once I was inside, he went over all of the findings and was just so nice about it. Thanks to Paul's wonderful service, I'll be back!

After I scheduled the appointment online and a person called me to tell me the tires I wanted were not available, and then later on he called back to offer me options. He went above and beyond to gain my business and make sure I was satisfied.
Saxton was great and extremely helpful, and was able to right the wrong of the previous manager, Jim, who gave me a horrible experience and performed incorrect work, as well as being very rude, interrupting, short, condescending, and much too arrogant when clearly he is in the wrong. It is unfortunate Jim is still around seeing as he was an issue for many other customers, but Saxton and his team really turned my attitude around.
Got me in right away. Was very pleased that I didn't have to wait super long just to have my issue checked out.
