I asked to have my brake pads replaced as it was under warranty. I didn't realize they test drove it only and said it was good. I wondered why I was there for a short time. My son in law went back and advised them to look at it again as it had very minimum pad left on my rear brakes. Again they drove it and advised the same solution. He was persistent and said it needed to be replaced. Apparently, they "assume" customer don't want to pay for an inspection, so they test drive it. I was very disappointed with Midas at this visit and will definitely not be having work on my Jeep done here again.

Mike explained everything to me very well. My car is older and I put a lot of miles on it since the last inspection. He gave me choices on the things that did not need to be done right away. He spent time with me and made me feel like a special customer.

Made an appt for 9a, car wasn't seen for an hr & 1/2 later. I was told right away that they're behind but they've been behind everytime I've gone to them.

I don't want to be upsold on things that don't need replaced like an air filter. I checked it after and it was very clean. I was shocked that I was told I needed replaced. Also the system of taking pictures of things and texting them with service recommendations I don't like. Another garage started that and it was a constant barrage of all the things I should do on my car that weren't really necessary. I quit going to that garage

I needed my vehicle inspected quickly. Other places were out a month. I got in the next morning, and it really was done in 2 hours! Prices are up front, no hassle on extras, you get photos and estimates for any noticeable issues. I was thoroughly pleased.

It was 24.99 and secretly charged 40 for shop supply w h Ile never disclosing this. It's predatory on woman because if I had a husband he could have done it for the cost of just the parts. The total job was $444.96 that's still alot of money. With your secret charges the final cost was $518... your mechanic was pretending to make it take longer than what it could. I originally had an appointment on Saturday 7/29, at my arrival Mike the manager told he was 3 hours behind schedule and asked if I could drop Off or come back on Tuesday 8/1. I came back on Tuesday stood in the waiting area for over 20 mins while Mike the manager was out in the parking lot talking on his cell phone. Then finally got checked in, the price was now higher than originally quoted on Saturday but I still told Mike to do the work. I got my tires mounted and balanced but then Mike told me he could not do the alignment that I wanted because my truck was too long which I think was BS he just didn't want to do it. I drive an F150 with a 6 bed not some giant truck. So again my time was wasted as only 50% of the work I needed was done and I had to find another shop to do the alignment. Mike is unprofessional and wastes customers Time. I will not come back here again.

I made my appointment via online scheduling that was very easy and quick. Arrived at the Midas Store and the wait was not long and the attendant was very knowledgeable and helpful explaining what will be done. I was also offered to have a Complementary tires rotation which was a nice surprise! I have told my family members and friends what a great price and Midas has the nicest workers at their stores!

My Son was graduating from Marine Corp boot camp and I dropped his car off for an oil change and to have an amber engine light looked at. I called the shop on Thursday and they told me the engine code was something they had never seen before and Ford should look at it. He waved the diagnostic fee and only charged for the oil change.

Customer Relations was a huge part on my recommendation. I was at Pep Boys the Thursday before and they cancelled my appointment a hour and a half after I was there because a technician called in sick. One thing you don't do is cancel an appointment while the person has waited already, you do ask to reschedule if you can but if the first person already showed up, I would have tried to still work something out.

I was visiting family from out of town and experienced a brake problem. Manager Mike recognized my situation as an emergency and worked me in despite having a full roster. I had visited 5 other shops this Friday morning prior to landing here at Midas on Steubenville Pike. All of those shops were unable to help me or offer anything. Besides doing the right thing, this shop has a strong work ethic vibe to it. Several techs going about their business and working on vehicles. The waiting room has a wall hung flat screen with the news and weather on. A few customers were waiting on vehicles for their work to be completed. This is a professional shop with a great crew. They treated me like an old friend despite having just walked in the door and not being a local. This crew got my problem fixed and I was back on the road with a safe vehicle within a couple of hours. Communication was clear. I can’t say enough good things about this shop and crew. Thanks guys!

Timely service when promised an hour and scheduled the appointment time and sat for almost double that. 2 hours is a long wait for a inspection and emisssion and oil change.

I scheduled an appointment from 12-2. Unfortunately, my car did not get pulled into the garage until 1:20pm, and I was there until 3:35pm. Thank goodness I didn't have my 3 year old with me, but I inconvenienced family by not being able to pick him up. Additionally, I was late to get my other children off of the bus. I have never had an inspection take 3.5 hours.

Everything was properly explained to me what needed done and shown the old parts and why they failed. They are nice and friendly and showed me a detailed list of all that was done and they explained why it was all done it also was only half a day where other mechanics have taken 2 to 3 days.

The manager is always peasant. He explains everything that is being done to your vehicle. He listens to you and tries to accommodate you any way he is able to. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.

Shop did not honor 10% military discount when coupon was given upon arrival. Pricing was bait and switch. When I opined that I would not get the service because they would not honor discount, I was told brake check would be $90. Plus tax and shop fees. I chose to have the work done. When I made the appt, I was quoted a rate and a time frame for completion. I was told by Tim that I had a bad attitude. Would be highly skeptical of anyone I know getting work done there.

Not allow customers to wait 10/15 minutes before being spoken to. Treat all customers the same and not show favoritism based on looks or familiarity. Make sure all vehicles receive a window cling (I did not). Make known the cost (estimate) before work is started. Clarify what all the customer wants before doing anything, as I did not know I was havig my tires rotated nor consent to this. And maybe when the vehicle is returned to the customer, the technician could maybe speak and explain what was done and not just quietly walk away.

It was very nice because it was like being treated like a family member and also being told what is wrong in advance and letting you what the price is before they start the process

My appointment was at 1pm, I told them I would be a few minutes late because of the rain and the amount of traffic in the rain. He said, "take your time, we are 30min behind our schedule, anyway". I get there and ended up leaving before my car was even touched and it was 3:37pm. I had an appt, they had kids they were walking around carrying, standing in Huddles, talking and eating and not working. Very unprofessional. The manager, Mike was nice when I checked in. That's it.

Dont overcharge $40 for a license plate bulb and tell me i will be failed and have to pay for another inspection if i bring a bulb myself and install it. This is absolutely illegal and immoral. I will never ever return and i will warn as many people as possible.

I will not return to this location and will ensure all friends and family know not to either. When I returned to pick up my car, the associate said he was not the one I argued with on the phone because he also thought it was disrespectful.

Overall, really great service.

Know your products/services. Don’t let online appointments be made only to get to store and be told can’t keep the commitment. Don’t drive customers cars over the speed limits when test driving.

Waiting room smelled a little like smoke. Update the area and make it larger if possible. The bays need cleaned up. In my opinion, this is also related to the service performed and attention to detail.

Excellent customer service. My vehicle was on the lift for an exhaust system check within 10 minutes.

Sales associate got very hostile with me when I communicated to him that I thought it was unfair of him to charge me a higher price then he originally quoted me. He told me he would not service my car and literally threw me out of the location. It was very humiliating for me and I have never experienced that kind of rage from a person like this before. I’m always having work done to my car but I will never give this place any of my business or hard earned money.

Well fisrt of all the manager was very educated on the issue and very helpful I believe his name was Michael. Secondly he went over and beyond to help resolve an issue for me that was taken care of thank GOD!

Your supervisor took advantage of me because I was a woman my vehicle was a 2018 with less than $40,000 miles and he charged me the most expensive oil change there was he did not feel my air pressure this was supposed to be a state and emissions test he hung up on me gave me absurd prices to change headlights the bulb $109 a piece how would they ever be that expensive I will never return he was great the first time I came with my boyfriend but when I came alone he tried to take advantage and was very cocky and condescending about it I will never return to Midas and I will never give a good review I will make sure that all ladies know how supervisor Mike treated a customer in need of services without a man present

The manager was very friendly and helpful in assisting me with the work I needed to have done (new tires, tie rod replacement, inspection/emissions, and oil change. I did not have an appointment, but the manager was able to fit me in quickly. Service was excellent and timely without any trouble or unexpected issues. I will certainly be visiting this location again for any/all of my vehicle needs. It has been a long time since I have had confidence and trust in a service center, and I look forward to dealing with them in the future.

My car unibody is badly rusted out. A shock came loose and was rattling. I brought car in to have problem diagnosed. They told me the problem and said car is unsafe. Did not perform any solution to noise, they were afraid car was going to fall apart on rack. I would have hoped loose shock would have been removed. All they did was tell me what they found. I went out and began purchasing a new car to replace this car. I was never given an opportunity to see the underside. I like this Midas shop. I am disabled and I put my trust in these mechanics to find and fix my car.

I brought my car to Midas for one reason, they supposedly accepted car shield warranty service. Well, after 5 hours of having my car that I took in for the engine light being on and getting an oil change and tire rotation and balance the manager called to inform me that it’ll be $657 to fix the issue and that I was in over $400 before I even left the store?? If I bring u my car to fix and u charge me $700 shouldn’t u fix this issue, he called car shield and included all he could with flushes to the system and lots of other bs that he knew they’d never cover and deny any coverage at all.Then three days after when the light came back on after charging me $657 I was bringing my car back to have the lug nuts checked from my tire rotation and spoke with this manager 10-20 min before I arrived hoping to discuss y this light came on not even a week after they “fixed” it and he’s no where to b found conveniently when he knew I was coming and the light was on again. My only option is pay for another appt to survey yet again what the problem is cause the work they did was guaranteed, the work u did didn’t fix my car.

Have a nail in my tire. Called and the guy asked what kind of tires so he could order me a new one. I did that and he said he ordered it and told me to come in 2 days later for replacement. I called on the second day because I had a previous experience where this store did not have items and I went to store at appointment time and wasn’t able to get serviced because the store did NOT communicate that my parts were not in. When I called he said it wasn’t in but said it should be tomorrow come then. I told him I have a nail in my tire and I would be driving with my child in the car. This could have been an accident had I driven there and my tire not have been there, and that would have been almost 100 miles driven on a tire with a nail in it. This store has done this before, if they say they are ordering something they need to FOLLOW UP if it’s not going to be there on time. It is the store’s responsibility to make sure they have what they need to keep appointments for service. They need to call the customer and communicate that so people do not waste their time.

I came in for a tire repair, fix a flat and something that should take 20-30 min to diagnose and repair dragged on for almost 2 hours. the Mechanic kept going back and forth trying to do 2 cars at the same time, and YES, I observed this. I know the process in doing tire repair (plugging a hole) and it was a little frustrating watching him do do step 1 & 2 and then stop go to the OTHER car work on it for 10-12 minutes then come back to my tire and do step #3 only to stop again go back to the other car, I'm thinking "great" with only 7 more steps to go on my tire I should be here , like forever... other than that everything was great

Not charge for false work. I was told I needed a new alternator, belt and belt tensioner north of 1200 dollars when I had it checked by someone else and it wasn’t any of that. It was a ac clutch and cost 200. Paid 150 for a diagnostic that wasn’t even right and thankfully I didn’t have them do the work anyways because it wouldn’t even have been fixed. Should be refunded my money.

Mike, the manager, took extra care with me, and the other customers present. It took very little time to get my truck in and a very reasonable amount of time to do the work. I have been dealing with Midas since the 70s (custom exhausts for a 68 Austin America and a 68 Mercedes 200) and this location for at least 20 years. I'll keep coming back. The mechanics have all been great but Mike is the glue that holds it all together.

My experience with this location was good. Friendly staff and quick turnaround on the repair. The repair was a bit pricey but it was custom exhaust work and it was done well so I can't complain too much.

I called to ask if they can run an engine diagnostic and the guy said yeah its $160. I went on the website and $79.99 is the engine diagnostic? Decided not to take my business here because who knows what else they will charge me for.
