Very limited parking when dropping off car.
Car was 2 weeks old but bought in another state.When I made appt I got a firm price of $40 & marquee out front said $39.99. But when it was done the bill was over $90. They even charged for emissions when it only had a little over 200 miles on it. I did bring it to the person’s attention & he adjusted the bill to $48. He didn’t argue, he was nice about it but it should never have happened. But if I was someone who wouldn’t speak up I would have been overcharged….so do your homework & speak up.
They diagnosed an issue for my car and recommended what to do and even quoted the service despite not being able to do it at their store due to lack of systems and my car needing to be serviced at my dealer.

The issue wasn’t with the store but with the Midas credit account process. I was provided credit immediately after applying but couldn’t use it as neither I or the store could access my account. Calling customer service didn’t resolve the issue as the customer rep refused to provide me with my account nor would they provide it to the Midas store manager. When I asked the rep what to do I was told to try later as that wasn’t an acceptable answer I asked who else could help with this and the response was “No one.” I requested a manager and it took so long for me to speak with someone I ended using my Synchrony card. I will close my Midas card as soon as it arrives. I am unsure if I will use Midas again for service.

I came in for a oil change and was made aware of problems that should not be put off, I agreed to the repairs but I had things to do. They even went out of their way to arrange for a rental car for me.

There is no online presence with any of the location Springfield pa or Norwood. But Springfield tried to add additional items with out talking to me first. I wanted just oil change at 75 with $20 off coupon. They tried to charge 200 for other items in ever asked for or about made it clear only oil change at check in. No filters or anything else. But they still tried to charge it than had to order stuff from churches auto parts with out informing me about that so had sit there with my 3 year old for 2 plus hrs.
Midas charges more for a FREE oil changes than it does for a $29.99 oil change. It boggles my mind.
always thorough with repairs
Have your mechanics work rather than play on cellular phones, and then actually complete the “Full Service” as described! Got a synthetic Oil Change, but other fluids were not topped off (washer fluid) and the tires were never filled with air… got an oil change and nothing more. Had to stop somewhere else because one of my back tires was 20 PSI lower than the other three!
Met all my expectations .
The guy was friendly and informed me of what was going on with my car. When my car needed more service than I had budgeted for he gave me other payment options. I was going on the road for a trip the next day.

I caught a major flat tire out of no where on Baltimore Pike. I saw a Midas across the street it was 5:25ish pm. I saw two men working one phone and other working. The younger man saw my tire but told me to ask the manager. After off the phone I asked if could look my tire. They both told me my tire couldn't be repaired. I asked if they a tire for my SUV the manager told me yes it would cost me $201.74. I had no choice but to get the tire fixed. It took me no time for my tire to get replaced. I randomly walked in to get my truck inspected and emissions. Sales associate was very accommodating and fit me in the next day at 10:30am. I dropped off the vehicle and stopped back at 12:30 and was already done and ready
Needed oil change and inspection and 2 tires. They were fantastic when I took it for inspection last year. Dropped car off night before for 8am appointment. Called around 11:30am b/c I never heard from them. Was told they hadn't touched the car yet. Received another call an hour later: oil change was complete, car failed inspection: needed 2 tires, control arm and a litany of other parts to the tune of $3400. When I asked the manager which parts were recommended/required to pass inspection, was told everything. Was told I couldn't use my account with you to pay for service? This location inspected and serviced the car last year. Car passed last year after I got hit for tires, brakes, rotors, bearings, etc. This year I needed $3400 in new parts? I'll pay the balance of the card and will never use Midas again. In addition, I'll do everything I can to get the word out via social media of my experience, price and inconvenience. TRAINWRECK.
I have worked in the mechanic field doing brake work and My bill states that I received new rear brake rotors but I noticed that the rotors where turned thru the wheel opening I could see the marks that where left from not being able to go past the safety level
