I was told to come in Sat morning to have brakes put on. Jeremy told me he had to order the brakes - I reminded him on the phone on Friday to order the brakes. I came in on Sat AM and he forgot to order the brakes. I had to leave and come back 2 hours later. When I did Jeremy said I would be in and out. My car sat on the lift for 40 minutes before anyone started doing any work on it. The mechanic started working on it at 12:10 pm and I got there at 11:30 am. After I got home, I looked at the courtesy check list and there were 3 items that I believe raised concerns regarding the safety of my vehicle that were NEVER addressed to me while I was there. They were a torn boot under steering system, leaking engine oil and valve cover under fluid leaks which was checked in red. The brakes I had on were from Midas from March of 2022 and they had to be replaced in less than 10 months. Jeremy had no answer why they "were shot" - he just said that they needed to be replaced. Not happy at all with communication of staff OR products put on my car. Will need to find another place to take care of my vehicle.

I came in for an oil change and check for issues. They found out everything that was needed to be fixed and offered to schedule another appointment, or get it started now. It was going to take a few hours. I had a way to pick up the car but later but no way to leave then. They were nice enough to give me a ride home so I could continue working from there while waiting for the repairs. This was unexpected and greatly appreciated. From beginning to end, every part of my experience was excellent.
The guys there are very professional and they take time out to explain things to you.

Honor discounts that you offer
Be honest with customers. Had a fluid leak several months ago, took it into this location and paid hundreds to have it fixed. Noticed the same color fluid still leaking as time went on so I took it back in and they said there was residual fluid left on the skid pan that they saw and cleaned off and that it could have been from that. Still noticed the same color fluid leaking. Finally took it back in only to be told it was a different problem with the AC condenser and wanted to charge me upwards of $1,000. After repeatedly mentioning that this fluid is the exact same color as the spots in my garage. I took it somewhere else to get a second opinion and was told it was a completely different problem than what I was told was the issue. The first visit I paid for should have corrected this problem from the beginning & that was not the case. Just one big money grab.
I don’t know what it is, but every time I come to Midas on Rivers Avenue they have very friendly staff members. And lately I’m in and out quick. Let me go knock on some wood.

I took my car in for what I thought was a bad starter. They replaced the starter with one I had brought in. When they called to tell me it didn't work I told them I would come get the old one and have it tested to see if that was the problem. Somewhere there was a miscommunication and they took the new one off. After that, they were going to try and charge me 2 installation fees to put one back on. Fortunately, we were able to convince the manager not to do so.

Car sounded like a hole in exhaust pipe but they found that bolt had coome apart holding pipe to manifold. Replaced both the bolt and installed a new gasket. Now it sounds quiet.
