I spend a lot of time at Midas, so I'm beginning to get to know the folx who work there. They make me feel really cared for, and that is something I value these days.
I’ve came here when I got my brakes done and I didn’t know where else to go. They were knowledgeable and told me what was needed. I’ve been coming for oil change ever since and they never disappoint.
If you are going to 'recommend' new tires or rear brake pads and rotors,Show.me.Also the oil leak from an improperly tightened oil plug left an oil stain on my carport I can't get cleaned off.

Brake problems that I thought would be under warranty.. Midas in Cookeville was the original installation site and we had brake dust almost immediately. They reworked the brakes then we had more problems soon after. This facility seemed to clean up their mess and I got stuck with the bill.
They worked with me on the prices and showed respect and kindness the whole time I was there. The service they provided me was top notch and I will definitely continue going there in the near future for auto part needs.

The oil change took 2 hours. I know they were behind but with a scheduled appointment 2 hours seems excessive. There were greasy hand/fingerprints/footprints all in the interior of my vehicle. The door, step up, center console and glove box.

If an appointment is made, please let the customer know the time they should expect to wait. An hour wait time for an oil change seemed excessive to me.Also, my floor mats were clean when I arrived. Workers called to let me know that my car almost complete, I came 45 minutes later and it was not ready. The employees were standing outside talking and my car wasn’t being worked on. When I came in they said they did not have the part then took the delivered part and finished my car in less than 5 minutes once I shared that I had groceries in my car and a tired toddler. It had been over two hours since I dropped off my vehicle and they finished the only other car they were working on 10 minutes after I dropped off my car.
The team got me in very fast and started right away. I am pleased with the accuracy of the alignment.

I brought an issue from a previous service to be addressed. The issue is that my headlights, which were replaced last time, still were not working. I showed the technician pictures of my headlights at night (because it's difficult to see during the day) He glanced at my phone quickly and said they seemed to be working, gaslighting me. I said no they aren't something is wrong because there are several lights out and they aren't bright enough at night, I had actually been pulled over because of it. There was no record of what headlights they had replaced last time, they just charged me $20 for it. I honestly believe they did nothing. Didn't do a thorough enough job to ensure that I would be safe. This time after noting for the technician to look at the lights, they said 4 bulbs were out and quoted me $400+ to replace them. I understand for a Prius they have to take off the bumper, so it's a lot of labor. I still think it's an astronomical price, and no one acknowledged or took responsibility for the fact that they missed this the last time, just that "bulbs go out."
TheTechs recommended we replace shocks/struts. It was agreed to but not all was able to be completed. Although understandable, the shocks/struts were custom for front and outside Midas capabilities. Lastly, the vehicle had to picked up after hours, when picking up the battery was dead and required charging/boosting just to get it home which took multiple trips back and forth from home b/c not prepared for this condition. It was a major inconvenience and believed this condition was caused within the shop during repairs.
Great customer service and friendly staff
During check-in, the associate I dealt with was very attentive to my listing of items I wanted looked at and work I was expecting to be done. While these tasks were being undertaken I received updates on additional potential issues they found. BUT there was no pressure for me to have this work done immediately. They documented these issues as items I should keep an eye on and verbally separated the safety issues from the less critical issues AND provided a rough timeline for when I might begin watching for well-explained tell tail signs that would alert me to have the safety issues revisited.I came away very satisfied that, while they had raised issues for me to be aware of, I was not being pressured into "knee jerk" decisions.

Typically it doesn't take four hours for my car to be finished. I also tried to call several times, once i was put on hold for an extremely long time until I was hung up on with the automated message saying, "Please call back later" I did that. No answer twice.

Midas was excellent. Due to the low profile tires my wheels had to be taken to a local "sister" establishment who did a very poor job and damaged my wheels. I would recommend using a different shop to mount low profile wheels (on expensive rims) from now on or get the proper tire mounting machine so it can be done in house. Again, fully understand this is not Midas's fault, but may reflect poorly on a different less understanding customer. I believe the owner Carlos especially was very patient, helpful, and friendly working with me and my insurance claim.

I do business here regularly. I work next door so it is convenient. The communication and scheduling is always good. I usually can get my vehicle in for an oil changewhen they are is not an appointment. When I do make an appointment, the services usually completed very quickly, usually before the scheduled pickup time

Had to bring back my Nitro a week later for the exact problem they hadfixed. Told me they misdiagnosed problem and I felt I was I had no choice but to pay the price they were asking. Which was additional $600, for grand total of $1100. Just fix it the first time! Why did I have to pay again? Do you think I will ever trust Midas again? My Nitro was held hostage. Really disappointed and will tell 10 others.
Nice job. Honest diagnostics. 3 Issues but reduced problem into 2 things. Did not overcharge when they could have. This is a sign of taking care of the customer and not focusing on the bottom line. It will come back ten fold when I recommend Midas to my clients in the service industry.
