Unsure, up to this point had not had much problems with Midas, have been using them for years. But I had just paid over $1800 for Oil Change, new plugs, and a new radiator. I drove the truck away form the shop and didn't get 2 miles before the check engine light came back on. Had to return the next day and am waiting for word.

First, after getting an online quote, no one from Midas called to schedule an appointment in the given time frame to get new tires and an alignment. So I called in the appointment myself. Second, when I arrive for the appointment. They didn't order my tires. How do you miss this? They told me that they don't use the online tools and that I should have called (I had.). Didn't apologize but made excuses as to why they didn't order the tires. I left the car there for them to install, which wasted everyone's time. Third, when the tires came in, someone called and told me to drop my car off. I told them "it's already there, you have my keys!" How do you not know this?Fourth, when they put the tires on, they called me and said "We are done! Come and get your car." I asked, "How did they alignment go?" They said, "We couldn't do it the lift doesn't fit on your car?" Why would you schedule an alignment when you knew it wouldn't lift the car? Why wouldn't they have called me as they discovered that and waited to tell me? It seems like they wouldn't have told me unless I asked. I'm not usually the one to write a critique, but this was a terrible experience.
I realized I had a flat tire and went to Midas immediately. They fit me into their other work and had my tire repaired in short order.

I just think $140 ( $125 plus tax and $4 shop fee (?) ) is a high price to see what is wrong with the vehicle and have nothing done at all....just a diagnosis. If I were to get it fixed it would have been included in that first hour, I get, but when you were unable to fix the issue and have not done anything but run a diagnosis (which I did at a previous place for free and needed more detailed information...) seems like a high price to pay:(. I have taken several of my cars there for brakes and fans and oil changes, and engine issues, but I won't bring it for just a simple diagnosis anymore :( love the service, just not the high price.

I specifically diagnosed what I needed. Despite that, I was charged for a diagnostic--$125. When that was completed, the service I needed for what I diagnosed was charged. I complained about the diagnostic charge, and it was removed. However, the service charged wasINCOMPLETE!!!!!

Extremely knowledgeable and professional staff. They diagnosed my issue, explained options clearly, and scheduled the repair in a very timely manner. They took my phone call when I was inquiring about an update, gave me a reasonable estimation of the time to complete the job and then called to let me know that my service was complete in all, it was a very professional experience and one that has been repeated over and over.

I requested my appointment on line pretty late at night and received a confirmation not long after opening business hour. The Team is great. They seem to work well together. A few months ago, l was told my brake pads would need some attention in a few months or so. As I am soon going on a 1000+ miles driving trip, I wanted to make sure my brakes were ready. After inspecting my brakes, a Midas gentleman told me I still had a while to go and I should be fine on my trip. I sincerely appreciated the honesty. As I already had an appointment scheduled and was there for it and knowing the brake pad replacement was not too far down the road, I chose to go ahead with it. The personnel are very personable and knowledgeable and seem to be very honest. I feel confident that they’re not going to sell me something I don’t need. The store seems to have a lot of business and loyal customers.

My red battery light came on and I was like "Ughhhh". I have purchased tires and brakes from this location before so I drove straight there. George took care of me right away and explained what they needed to do and the approximate timing it might take. Everything went exceptionally smooth, and they figured out the problem very quickly and went above and beyond with suggestions, and helped me weigh the pros and cons. I was on the way out of town and in my parking lot I got a flat tire. I had to get it repaired as quickly as possible and went to two places that said they wouldn’t even be able to look at it for 2-3 hours. I called Midas and he said they could possibly get it down within an hour even though I didn’t have an appointment and they were busy. I got there and sure enough I was out the door with a repaired tire in 45 min and my family was on the road to grandma and grandpas house! I greatly appreciated them!
