I made an appointment for today, March 16th, online for a synthetic blend oil change at the Alta Mere location in Fort Worth, TX. I have owned my car since 2018 and have never encountered the issue I faced today. I found a deal online for $29.99, and I am aware that I always need an extra quart of oil, which is fine. Upon arriving, an employee named Eddie stated that my vehicle requires synthetic oil, not synthetic blend, which is false being unless your owner's manual specifies synthetic, you don't need it and mine does NOT… attempting to upsell the price. Despite keeping up with my oil changes I recently relocated to the state. I informed him that this is not the case and that I wanted the blend. After some pushback, he finally complied. However, he then mentioned that my car requires a "special oil filter," which costs $15, not the regular $5 included in the pricing. Again, as someone who religiously keeps up with their oil changes, I informed him that in all of these years, I have never been told this, and I have always been told I have one of the most common oil filters. I do not understand why I am being up charged and was trying to gain clarification. Contact for more info

Hello, I have been going to this location for many years.they are honest!! Friendly,they explain any work that needs to be done and if have an appointment ,I have never had to wait for them to start the service.
After everything was said and done the guy working on my car came up and handed the manager i guess cause he wasn't in uniform something well turns out it was my lug nut and lug stud which he said happened because theist person that took it off didn't put it on right but I find it suspicious this happens after the guy had been working on my car for a while and while the car was in the air he came in and asked did I have the wheel lock to the lug nuts I told him yea in the glove compartment so he then climbed up the side of thing holding my car in the air and got in the glove compartment to get the wheel lock out. Which I'm sure that violated several safety codes. Also why wait till the very end to bring up the lug nut don't u think he would have said something Immediately when it happened or was he just trying to cover his own actions for not following protocol??? So I asked the guy checking me out who I assume is a manager cause he isn't in uniform and no name tag if there was anyway possible that this could have been their fault his response was no the way it was screwed in

I knew I had a brake problem, bc I could hear metal on metal. Midas told me I needed front pads AND rotors, but had 50% wear on the rear pads & rotors. I dn doubt it. The ONLY PROBLEM I encountered was the cost of front pads & rotors (+ installation….) was $600! That seems outrageous to me — like double what it wh cost 5-10 yrs ago!

I was upset with the fact the last time I came in the oil change was $59.95. It has Oberon that price for a very long time. I had received a $20 off coupon for an oil change, when I arrived at the location the sign outside said Synthetic Oil Change $59.95.I thought this meant my oil change would be $39.95. When I got in the building he said oh no that $59.95 was with the coupon. That they had gone up to $79.99. I was not a happy camper. I had (2) $39.95 coupons that I could have used at my dealership, but I liked the guys at Midas a lot better, that’s why I went to them.:(

Install quality products - I was disappointed I had to come back to get my brakes redone again after having them initially fixed at this location. Then I get charged for the return visit. I have had many trucks and vehicles and brakes redone, but never at this many low mileage. This indicates that Midas uses inferior quality products.

My appointment was at 930am for 2 tires to be put on and 1 sensor. When taking off the tires they broke three more sensors and had to wait for them to be delivered. After they were delivered they could not get them to sync to the machine. So they oreder three more sensors and the same thing happened. So they took those three sensors to Discount Tire to be synced. After they were they were brought back to midas and put on my tires. I did not get my car back until 3pm. I sat there till 1pm before the shop car was given to me so that I could go home. I am not going back. Nothing was offered for my time being there all day. Lost a whole day of work...
When you charge $70 for a diagnostic be sure the work you are recommending is what is actually wrong with the vehicle. Don’t give the easiest answer available.

I came to get my brake pads replaced because my car squealed, they said they fixed it, and my car was squealing even louder on my way home afterward. I took it to Pep Boys the next day to get it fixed and they told me I had rust and erosion all over my tires and undercarriage, yet Midas inspected this all for over 2 hours the day before and said nothing. Both of these places knew my car was a Carvana trade in but pep boys were the ones who looked out for me and recommended I return the car in my 7 day return period.

Came in for brake estimate and inspection. I did not mention I already had one estimate. The guys at this Midas were totally on point. I had a knocking noise in my car. They wanted to charge me $1,100 to fix something. I took it to Honda and paid $200 for a diagnostic. Turns out that my tire was just about to fall off because it wasn't on very tight. All they had to do was Titan the bolts on the hub. Now my car is not knocking. I did it myself for free. I got a diagnostic on my car. And nothing they said is what needs done.

My truck needed an unexpected/emergency repair (cylinder coil) at 3:00 pm on Friday afternoon. The Midas guys diagnosed the problem and repaired my truck by 5:00 pm on the same day. They are great. My previous experience with Midas was great also.

Took mazda 3 to midas on alta mere for headlite. They replaced whole assembly. Fine i paid 310 dollars a few days later blinker bulb falls out they put it back said it wasnt plugged in correctly. A few days later it falls out again. Well they dont remember
