Most of the store are not accepting warranty from the other and even when you visit the same store who provided you with the said service or part, 90% of the time they pick up another part or services as the cause of not fulfilling the Warranty except your buy or pay for that said part befor they will take care of the warranty item or services meanwhile initially they did not mention that item as damage or broken.For Example.I come for an wheel alignment, they check and give me a quote and a 12 months warranty 6 months down the line I come for a fulfilling of the warranty and they tell me I need to purchase rack and pinion and etc and etc befor they can allign the car, meanwhile the the car had the same problem when you brought it for the initial alignment.

First of all I liked the location, if is in a calm though so close to the road/intersection of Mason rd. and Cinco Ranch Blvd. in Katy, surrounded by trees, you find yourself as being in the park. My truck used to make a rumbling clanking sound when I would remote start it, before I got my oil change, belts checked, and air filter checked. Now it starts up smooth for a reasonable price. I wish I would’ve known about this place sooner

I had a Groupon purchased for another Midas. I was told a few weeks after my purchase that the Midas near my home was no longer accepting my Groupon and now I had to travel further out to a different Midas. That ruined the experience. But the location I went to was nice and the staff was kind.
Originally went to to get a smell of exhaust in the cab. they thought it was a gasket that was gone from the exhaust manifold on the driver side. It's an old car 1987 and they had issues getting the bolts off on the passenger side manifold.they replaced the gasket on the driver side but I still have exhaust fumes coming in the cab when I'm at a light or stopped. Chris said, there were small holes in the tail pipe between the muffler and catalytic converter. They were very small holes and he said they couldn't fix that. they didn't have the equipment to bend pipes to replace it.
Staff was very polite and friendly and area was very clean. Service was really quick and efficient. I would always recommend this location to other people.
This is my fourth time returning to Midas. The first three were to address lug nut issues and brakes. I was very thankful the staff was able to help that it makes you want to return again and again. This time around, was just as great as the last times. And I’ll be heading back to this location for my next servicing.

Arrived at my scheduled time for oil change,4pm, waited for more than an hour and told me that they can not do my oil change because it has no oil and there is service light and told them i know whats the reason for the light’1st of all they went and check my car mileage and from there they will let me know that they will not touch my car because if the light and put my car at their bay or working area pop up my hood, After more than an hour they just told me that they will not do oil change for my car!! Waste of time.. will not recommended this place, the one in Cinco Ranch Katy TX.
Just pulling my vehicle up on lift they noticed that someone tried to cut my catalytic converter off. They were able to fix it (re weld it) !

My dad has had great experiences with this location for the past 3 years that he had his vehicle serviced at the Mason/Cinco Ranch store. I had a lot of work needed and the store manager worked with me to do it in phases that met my budget. I am more than pleased with the quality of work (skilled mechanics using the latest diagnostic tools), price to value and overall store appearance. Friendly efficient car service
I had a realignment done on my truck. Within days it was out of alignment again and was accused of off roading....not the case. I had to go back 3 times and it is still not resolved. This last visit I was advised that I should take the truck to a specialty mechanic to get it fully aligned....after I a paid these clowns a lot of money to fix it. I have not been offered any reimbursement to this point. Completely unacceptable. Also they could not find my work in their system so was not under warranty until I was able to reproduce the documents proving the work was done. Also they damaged my steering wheel (nick in the leather) and again offered no resolution. Do not go here!!

The wheel alignment performed at this workshop after installing new suspension parts and tires couple of months ago on my Honda Odyssey 2011 wore bad both of my front tires after roughly 3k miles but the workshop doesn't take any responsibility of wrong alignment adjustments that ruined my expensive tires.

Poor customer service. Beware of fraudulent charges. I went for vehicle inspection today with Groupon today. They said they will do price match for groupon. When it came to payment they add additional 4.99$ as shop supply charges plus taxes.This is a sign of total fraudulent practices and totally shameful for franchise store like Midas. Will never use their services again as this show their unfair, fraudulent practice. My advice to the owner of the facility that If you can’t afford to Groupon or any other marketing tools, don’t use them to bring customers to your door step. Went in for state inspection and failed due to 1/8" tear to wiperblade on passenger side. Wanted to charge $20 to replace it. When l told them that l can do it myself because l have new wipers at home and would come back later. When l came back, l was informed that l will have to wait 1 hour for the technician. That's unacceptable. I've seen cars on the street with torn or missing wipers and smoke coming out of their exhaust and they passed??? Please explain that.

The guy who was inputting stuff on the computer was rude and didn’t even tell me my inspection didn’t pass. Even though is not a requirement, and does not affect the actual technical work performed, the staff attending the clients is not very friendly. Besides to me personally, I overheard a couple of phone calls answered and could be better.
Be clear with the customer how long it should take. When I came in, there were NO other vehicles being serviced and NO one in the waiting room. It should have been easy for them to tell me how long it'd take. Unfortunately I spent well over 1 ½ hours for something that should've taken 45 minutes at the most.
It took almost 2 hours to get the oil change.My bill had extras charge which I didn’t understand what it was for, but I realized it when I got home.The workers were extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
Please don’t accept Groupon in your store period. The front guy was angry with me because I did not tell him I will be using Groupon. I knew they do poor job for Groupons customers so I thought I will show him at the end. But he was very angry at me said so many things to make me feel worse. He said that he would have not given the same service if he knew. He put my change and receipt in counter angrily. Then he went to the shop to tell the person to stop what she was doing. Then the lady mechanic gave my car to me. My car still shows that I need brake oil flu and the main concern is oil change was not completed fully. Very bad experience on Wheel alignment. Went there twice and caught fix it properly. After wheel alignment, VSA and TPMS lights started to show up and they started saying that's how it was when given for service. Finally have to argue no and then finally they forgot step to do during alignment. Still alignment not correct. I have to get it to Other Shop and have it fixed. Waste of money and never ever think of getting here for any service.
